Erin Frances Damery of Kansas City, Mo., and Alexander John Garbarino of Berkley, Mich., announce their engagement.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of George Damery of Ann Arbor and Mary Damery of Ossineke. Erin is a 2006 graduate of Alpena High School and a 2010 graduate of the University of Michigan. She graduated in 2014 from the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy at Chapel Hill, N.C., and is currently employed by the University of Kansas Hospital as a clinical pharmacist.

Alexander is the son of Steven Garbarino and Michelle Laboe of Grosse Pointe. He is a 2005 graduate of Grosse Pointe South High School and a 2009 graduate of the University of Michigan. He graduated in 2014 from Wayne State University School of Medicine and is currently employed as chief medical resident at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit.

The couple will exchange their wedding vows June 9, 2018, at Meadow Brook Hall in Rochester Hills.
