Catherine Jacques and Paul Chaplin of Royal Oak announce their engagement. The bride-to-be is the daughter of Patrick and Raleigh Jacques of Alpena. The future groom is the son of Robert and Jennifer Chaplin of Brighton.

Catherine is a 2007 graduate of the University of Michigan and is currently employed as an International HR Specialist with Robert Bosch Corporation. Paul is a 2006 graduate of Michigan State University and is employed as a Sales Account Manager with Jenerxx, Inc. The couple will exchange wedding vows on Sept. 2, 2017 at the National Shrine of the Little Flower Catholic Basilica in Royal Oak.
