Jaclyn Benson and Robert Martinez announce their engagement.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Peter and Mary Benson of Alpena. The future groom is the son of Robert and Patti Martinez of Alpena.

Jaclyn is a 2007 graduate of Alpena High School, a 2011 graduate of Central Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science Degree and a 2014 graduate of the University of New England with a Physician Assistant Degree. She is currently employed at Alcona Health Center.

Robert is a 2003 graduate of Alpena High School and a 2014 graduate of Northern Maine Community College with an RN Associate’s Degree. He is currently employed at Lincoln Haven Nursing Home.

The couple will exchange their wedding vows Sept. 19, 2015 in Alpena.
