Kerry Hayka and Joel Manning, both of Posen, announce their engagement.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Jerry and Diane Hayka of Lachine. The future groom is the son of Bill (Tammy) Manning of Lachine and JoAnn (Bill) Simerson of Snover.

Kerry is a 2005 graduate of Alpena High School and Alpena Hollywood School of Beauty. She is employed by Neiman’s Family Market. Joel is a 2005 graduate of Ubly High School. He also is employed by Neiman’s Family Market.

The couple will exchange their wedding vows Sept. 27, 2014, at Leer Lutheran Church in Posen.
