Katie Prevo of Ossineke and Benjamin Richardson of Hubbard Lake announce their engagement.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Edward and Peggy Prevo of Ossineke. The future groom is the son of Dennis and Susan Richardson of Hubbard Lake.

Katie is a 2008 graduate of Alpena High School and a 2010 graduate of Douglas J. Aveda Institute. She is employed at New Waves Salon as a cosmetologist. Benjamin is a 2005 graduate of Alpena High School and has a degree in automotive service and repair. He is employed at Richardson’s Auto and Hickory Dickory Docks as an automotive specialist and welder.

The couple will exchange their wedding vows Oct. 4, 2014 at St. Anne Catholic Church.
