Lauren Nowak and Scott Kowalewsky announce their engagement.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Joel and Sally Nowak of Ossineke. She is also the granddaughter of Richard and Elaine Nowak of Alpena, Mary Jane Peters of Spruce, and the late Robert Peters. The future groom is the son of Karl and Vicky Kowalewsky of Rogers City, and the grandson of Robert and Elizabeth Kowalski of Rogers City, and the late Malcolm and Audrey Kowalewsky.

Lauren is a 2008 graduate of Alcona High School, a 2010 graduate of Alpena Community College and a 2013 graduate of Saginaw Valley State University, where she received a Master’s of Science in Occupational Therapy Degree.

Scott is a 2008 graduate of Rogers City High School, a 2011 graduate of Alpena Community College with an Associate’s Degree in Nursing (Registered Nurse) and a 2013 graduate of Ferris State University with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Nursing.

The couple will exchange their wedding vows June 21, 2014 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Rogers City.
