Senior Airman Courtney Moore of Spangdahlem AB in Germany and Senior Airman Barton Walker of Davis Monthan AB in Tucson, Ariz., announce their engagement.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Susan Moore of Alpena, and the late James Moore. The future groom is the son of Kim and Teri Walker of Yukon, Okla.

Courtney is a 2009 graduate of Alpena High School and is currently a dental assistant in the USAF. Barton is a 2007 graduate of Tuttle High School and is an aircraft armament specialist in the USAF while pursuing his mechanical engineering degree.

The couple hope to be married in Germany in the spring, to be followed by a stateside reception next summer.
