Leah Manary and Matthew Bennett of Traverse City announce their engagement.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Cheryl and Bobby Brady of Alpena, and Joe and Lorraine Manary of Boyne City. The future groom is the son of Gary and Karla Bennett of Marshall.

Leah is a 2004 graduate of Alpena High School, a 2008 graduate of Northern Michigan University and a 2010 graduate of Central Michigan University with a Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology. She is currently employed by the Traverse Bay Area Intermediate School District as a speech therapist. Matthew is a 2001 graduate of Marshall High School and a 2006 graduate of Northern Michigan University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Outdoor Recreation Leadership and Management. He is currently employed as a carpenter.

The couple will exchange their wedding vows on Aug. 16, 2014 in Bellaire.
