Sara Jo Pines and Jesse Thomas Hincka announce their engagement.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Alan and Eileen Pines of Rogers City. The future groom is the son of Edward Jr. and Sue Hincka of Posen.

Sara is a 2007 graduate of Rogers City High School, a 2009 graduate of Alpena Community College with an Associate’s Degree in Science and a 2011 graduate of Mid Michigan Community College as a registered radiologic technologist. She is currently employed at Thunder Bay Community Health Services and Kortman’s Restaurant.

Jesse is a 2006 graduate of Posen High School and completed the welding certificate program at Alpena Community College in 2012. He is currently employed at Posen Auto Parts and temporarily at Carmeuse Lime and Stone.

The couple are planning an Oct. 5, 2013 wedding at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Rogers City.
