Government Waste

I ran across a website "Citizens Against Government Waste", where the Porker of the month award went to (Feb. 2011)Representative Jerrold Nadler (D-N.Y.) continues to lobby for High Speed Rail(HSR), seeking 117 Billion Tax payer dollars over 30 years, to which Pres. Obama pledged an additional 53 Billion over 6 years, despite the fact that low speed rail we already have, has cost around 37 Billion dollars since 1971 to maintain.

Meanwhile, the great Speaker of the House, the crying baby Boehner, declares 'Victory' because he passed a vote to repeal 'ObamaCare' for the 41st time. I say do not pay these elitist swine we dare call leaders, ALL of them in the House in particular.

Yeah, what Steve Fletcher just 'said'.

...Furthermore, he goes on to state "American policy makers lack sufficient knowledge of international conflicts and players and sufficient ability to make use of the knowledge that they have to effectively implement such a strategy". AND " Social engineering at home is hard enough. It is even more difficult overseas. There is no way to transcend history, tradition, religion, ethnicity, geography and more. That's the obvious reason why intervention so often fails, yielding counterproductive effects never imagined by it's supporters. And with a war weary public and bankrupt government such a policy would be madness". The social engineering he mentions at home is actually quite easy, all it takes is a GOP controlled group of 'policy makers'.

An interesting and clear take on American Interventionism..."The desire to micromanage the globe remains strong in Washington. The only certainty is that almost every intervention results in unexpected, and negative consequences, which creates pressure for more meddling to redress new problems". The present situation in Syria is a recent case in point. The author, Doug Bandow, in American Spectator, goes on to say "The fact that an argument can be made for backing almost everyone in Syria's tragic civil war may be the best evidence available that the only sensible course is to stay out".

...AND, we can add the 'security-industrial complex' to the military, the prison and the social engineering (the 'conservative' wing of the GOP) industrial complex to the ever expanding corporate takeover of the American economy.

Dick Cheney is an unindicted WAR criminal, along with his henchmen Bush, Rumsfeld, Rice et cetera. The present saber rattling by the effeminate WARhawk Lindsey Graham and other neocons is all a ruse to make biblical prophesy come true, with concern ONLY for Israel, the great subjugators of Palestinians.

Due to the large negative response to the NSA and its Prism program and the way this negativity has helped the terrorist that the program is for defeating, all comments to all articles that are deemed rebellious will be deleted and replaced with an approved comment from the Prism program (which we can proudly say was “Made in The USA”. Remember if you are not for us, you must be a Muslim or a communist.

One more thing try to keep it clean on your phone calls, we have women working here, would you like your mother hearing about what you banged last night.

Let’s get one obvious truth clear about this Syria civil war, it didn’t just happen. It was caused by outside interference mostly from the USA and Israel that supplied know terrorist with weapons to topple the Syrian government that was aligned with Iran as a way to isolate from other countries. Acts like these are no better than what the Nazis did. The people that suffer the most are just ordinary people like us that just want to live their lives in peace and enjoy their friends and families. What we have are monsters that are called leaders and ambassadors that get off on killing people for their own betterment and sick pleasure. If we are such a great place should we live by what we advocate and show by example and not by destruction and killing?

The US government was warned about the 911 attacks and did nothing. Cheney is trying to make the American people believe that government spying is a good thing.

Former Vice President Dick Cheney vehemently defended the National Security Agency surveillance programs that started under President George W. Bush but argued the current administration has lost credibility.

The invisible hand of the market has determined that Dick Armey NOT working is worth more than 8-10 school teachers actually working full time.

How can you argue with that kind of efficiency?

Yes, norman the GOP Tea Party plays their member for the fools they are.

They beg them for their money through” Freedom Works” then Dick Armey quits and take eight million with him for leaving then “Freedom Works” turns and pays Mr. I sacrifice for America (Glen Beck) one million to beg for more money from these fools, which makes for one big happy circle jerk for the top dogs in the Tea Party.

While the great partisan 'essayist' in this forum presents his conservative bias as some great notion, the Grand Olde Party has been commandeered by extreme factions that have transformed the party into" a joyless, humorless, mean spirited vehicle to line the pockets of the super wealthy".

Remember, shrill, how wrong you were about the Romney 'landslide'? You STILL adhere to the faulty reasoning of the uninformed, misinformed, and just plain ignorant fringe of society that has become mainstream in the current right wing atmosphere you reside in. There is time to WAKE UP, but you have shown a remarkable ability to stick to your faulty perception.
