~All Hail The Commission~

The much-vaunted debt commission did not get the 14 votes they were after to allow the proposal to get to the floor for a vote. Andy Stern, former president of the SEIU was one of the No votes of course. Why is he part of this? A couple of republicans voted No also because it "didn't go far enough" in their opinion. What's next? Tums, Rolaids, Pepto Bismol and bankruptcy? Is it a let-down? What positives can we glean from it? Was it a waste of time?
