Letters To Ed :-)

"We've been duped by the Republicans. Kentucky Sen. and minority leader Mitch McConnell in a news conference one day after the election, stated that the single and sole goal of the GOP over the next two years is: to make Barack Obama a single term president. What an arrogant and obnoxious goal and statement. There agenda before the election was to get votes by promising that there first goals were jobs, the economy and health care reform. It seems their goal is to grab power, not to do things for the people that are in need of jobs and or unemployment pay, health care for those that don't have it, and the people losing their homes. This is the same party that wanted the auto plants and their suppliers to go out of business. We are just coming back from what they did to this country, and now we have them back to do the same things to our country again. What a mess the next two years is going to bring to this country. Talk about partisanship." Carl D. Leow Rogers Cit

Rand Paul and Reince Priebus..."Lewinski". Now there is a 'scandal' we can wrap our distractions around.

News Flash! A GOP report on Benghazi! "The House Armed Services Committee that there is no way for the U.S. military to have responded in time to the 2012 terrorist attack in Benghazi, Libya to save the four Americans killed that night. In doing so, the report DEBUNKS ENTIRELY a right wing myth that the White House ordered the military not to intervene.

I understand the glee Republicans got seeing Susan McDougall in shackles. But take something like Bush/Cheney wanting to turn national energy policy over to Enron and Kenny-boy Lay, and all you got was crickets from Republicans. And Republicans want to ramp up another Benghazi investigations. As I said, it's what they do. Waste taxpayer time, waste taxpayer money.

"...Ultimately the Clintons were never charged, but 15 other persons were convicted of more than 40 crimes, including Bill Clinton's successor as Governor, who was removed from office..."

Sounds like an investigation was warranted to me.

And, by the way, it wasn't Issa who wrote letters urging the investigation of "True the Vote". That was Rep. Elijah Cummings (D), the ranking member, doing his J-O-B.

If it's only the republicans that are investigating anything then maybe you should take a serious look at the democrats as an honest party.

It is their J-O-B to investigate jaxspp.

So, your girl, Lois invokes her 5th amendment right protecting her from self incrimination and you see no problem?

Your idea of an investigation doesn't include interviewing any of the victims?

Really? You won't find anything out that way but, I guess, you'd rather be dumb and happy.

"I see nothing, noooo-thing!!!!!" OK Sgt. Schultz, keep taking Col. Klink's word for it.

freem..Do you think we should discriminate against the gays like the muslims, Chrislicans and commies?

Posted 170 days ago.

Maybe I'm being P-L-A-Y-E-D, but I can't live my life in paranoid fear like you Free. Their are not boogeymen around every corner for me as there is for you.

Posted 170 days ago.

There are investigations because with Republicans, you always get investigations. Always have, always will. $60 million to investigate the Clintons, and all they found was a dirty dress.

freem.. Have you ever wondered how they found million year old footprints on a planet that is only 6,000-9,000 years old?

You shouldn't be so harsh on Romneycare until it's had time to work out the kinks.

So, back to the ACA, it took 2000+ pages of legislation to ban pre-existing conditions, keep young people on their parents' insurance until they're 26 and force policy prices to not discriminate against women.

Seems to me there was an easier way, but, then again how could you tax the boots off of the American economy by doing it the "easy way"?

Kind of like voter fraud. If you don't look for it, you won't find it, right? Ask ACORN,,,oops "THEY GONE".

Tort reform is only one of many ideas, dem and repub, that have been put forward.

Update on "fake" scandals. Lois's emails are starting to come out, doesn't look good for her and her like minded friends at Treasury.

Kind of wondering, jax, why there are 6 separate investigations, (two criminal), into a "fake scandal"? And why, before they're finished, does the President already know that there is "not even a smidgeon of corruption involved"? Kind of sounds like he's gonna get the results he wants, doesn't it?

You are being played jaxspp, P-L-A-Y-E-D.

Want to know how you can tell? The dems are distracting people with "income gap" and "war on women" and blah, blah, blah.

Tort #1 for healthcare reform? Am I thinking right? "A new study reveals that the cost of medical malpractice in the United States is running at about $55.6 billion a year – $45.6 billion of which is spent on defensive medicine practiced by physicians seeking to stay clear of lawsuits.

The amount comprises 2.4% of the nation’s total health care expenditure."

Are we seeking another solution as with voter fraud where there is no problem?

freem..If you ignore me then I won't be able to save you but fortunatly I have an endless supply of Chrislicans elsewhere whose errant conditioning I can correct.

Bottom line: The democrats made promise after promise when pushing this thing in 2009 and now that the promises are proven to be bogus, they choose to blame the messengers instead of the message. Pitiful.

Freeman

Solutions have been out there since the beginning of the ACA debate jaxspp. The President and the democratic congress did not adopt, or even consider, one of them. Now they, democrats, are bemoaning the fact that the ACA is imploding just like those on the opposite side of the isle said it would.

As the dems run from the ACA, they hammer the repubs for not "supporting" the abomination they came up with.

1. Tort reform. 2. Interstate insurance transactions. 3. Expanded HSA opportunities for those who want it.

I can go on and on but it makes no difference to those who won't listen. Didn't in 2009, won't in 2014.

Not a lie though jaxspp, you might want to listen to the testimony today. The report exists coming from CBO but, in my opinion, it is not a complete picture of what is happening.
