Letters To Ed :-)

"We've been duped by the Republicans. Kentucky Sen. and minority leader Mitch McConnell in a news conference one day after the election, stated that the single and sole goal of the GOP over the next two years is: to make Barack Obama a single term president. What an arrogant and obnoxious goal and statement. There agenda before the election was to get votes by promising that there first goals were jobs, the economy and health care reform. It seems their goal is to grab power, not to do things for the people that are in need of jobs and or unemployment pay, health care for those that don't have it, and the people losing their homes. This is the same party that wanted the auto plants and their suppliers to go out of business. We are just coming back from what they did to this country, and now we have them back to do the same things to our country again. What a mess the next two years is going to bring to this country. Talk about partisanship." Carl D. Leow Rogers Cit

"On June 21, 2006 the U.S. House of Representatives Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence released key points from a classified report from the National Ground Intelligence Center on the recovery of a small number of degraded chemical munitions in Iraq. The report stated that "Coalition forces have recovered approximately 500 weapons munitions which contain degraded mustard or sarin nerve agent."

"These munitions meet the technical definition of weapons of mass destruction, according to the commander of the National Ground Intelligence Center. "These are chemical weapons as defined under the Chemical Weapons Convention, and yes ... they do constitute weapons of mass destruction." "

"Iraq became a member state of the Chemical Weapons Convention in 2009, declaring "two bunkers with filled and unfilled chemical weapons munitions, some precursors, as well as five former chemical weapons production facilities" according to OPCW Dire

The 'joke' you mention, Free'man', is your lack of perspective, and your pathetic adherence to lies and misconception. Which hand do you use to wipe your sorry arse? NO paper, just your hand? Sounds unsanitary to me.Answer me this, weirdo, where are the weapons of mass destruction ? How many agencies were in on that big lie? Unfunded wars are dangerous and wasteful. For God sake,we are STILL finding out about atrocities committed by Americans in VietNam, never mind we did not belong there either. YOU are naive and pathetic.

Cost of the Iraq WAR, so far...829 Billion and counting. American participant deaths, NOT including continuing cost of wounded veterans,4,486. Civilian Iraqi casualties, 110K to 127K, along with about 27K combatant deaths. Total deaths in the conflict, one Million, 33K. Weapons of Mass Destruction found....ZERO. And George Bush and Dick Cheney and their henchmen are NOT war criminals? Curious. Unsustainable spending? YES.Immoral behavior by 'our' leaders, YES! Right to life, my royal arse. The joke is on YOU, "free"man, as your opinion holds no water, no sense and no credibility, four deaths in a dangerous part of the world in a chaotic situation, zero in the grand scheme of politics.

Let's take it even further.

The capabilities of the U.S. intelligence agencies, the alertness of State Dept. officials and every other informational collection and analysis organization in use by the U.S. has improved exponentially since 9/11 and the invasions of 2003.

And you want to hold current officials to a standard that is pre-war and a decade old.

Do you even think about these situations before jumping head-long into Ed Schulz's *******?

Norman"fake". If you remember, (try, I know it's hard), the intelligence apparatus of no less than 5 countries reported the same info. The issue was pondered for months.

Contrast that with what this administration spewed days after the attack. Contrast that with the evidence that they KNEW there was no "protest". The absence of a "protest narrative" would be politically bad for the President during the election, ipso facto you get lies coming from top admin officials, talking points altered to reflect a scenario that supports the President's claim that our enemies were decimated and terrorism was subsiding.

You're a joke normy.

Contrast your analysis with used toilet paper, (no difference in that case).

Benghazi, whoa whoa whoa whoa...See John McCain trotting out his same old baloney about a small firefight in a city of one million folks,in a chaotic situation, during the Clinton grilling. ONE member of the committee had the courage to bring up Iraq after McCain trotted out his objections. McCains reaction? Smile and look away. Weapons of mass destruction, not found, American lives, LOST, and way more than four. The Senator was all indignant about four deaths, and he supported vehemently, the IRAQ! WAR. Then he has the bawls to smile? Time for John McCain to retire.

Ignore whats happening? Like the WAR in Afghanistan? Like millions of people in prison in a 'free' America, most for non-violent, victimless crimes? The grief over Benghazi, when few questions were asked on the Bush/ Cheney lies about Iraq and weapons of mass destruction?

The phrase molon labe (Ancient Greek molo`n labé; reconstructed Ancient Greek pronunciation [mol??n labé]; Modern Greek pronunciation [mo'lon la've]) means "Come and take". It is a classical expression of defiance reportedly spoken by King Leonidas I in response to the Persian army's demand that the Spartans surrender their weapons at the Battle of Thermopylae.

Dear Democrats:

Molon labe.

freem..I remember you advocating means testing (fair share) for the rich who recieve social security and here you are against yourself. Again :)

Recent GAO report cites "unsustainable" spending by the federal government. What's worse? The government's utter inability to accurately account for anything. GAO is worried about that, extremely worried but, as usual, the easy way out is to "fair share" the*****out of anyone who makes a buck in this country and berate anyone who objects.

Before you blabber on about republicans "protecting the rich" you might ask ALL OF THEM to start acting like adults and start accounting for the money they already get.

Time to pay the piper.

Do you know how much land in the United States is "owned" by the Federal Government as of 2009?

Nevada: 84.5% Alaska: 69.1% Utah: 57.4% Oregon: 53.1 Idaho: 50.2% Arizona: 48.1% California: 45.3% Wyoming: 42.3% New Mexico: 41.8% Colorado: 36.6%.

It also "owns" pieces of every other state, including Michigan. Listed above are just the biggies.

It even mandates that some land owners make improvements on land they don't even own, in exchange for being able to do something on that land which they do own. The Government makes it impossible to ever pay off a piece of land via yearly property taxes.

The Government mandates that you pay into Social Security even though the return are paltry, and may be zero if we keep going as we are going. The Government operates like a Ponzi scheme. No one even knows how many Federal Laws and reulations there are. The Government controls virtually every aspect of our lives, right now, today.

We haven't been a capitalistic system in a long time.

Government doesn't control the means of production and resources? Tell that to Boeing. The NLRB is part of Government, is it not? They told Boeing they couldn't build a plant in South Carolina.

The Government tells oil companies where they can and cannot drill. The Government is shutting down the entire coal industry in this country. The Government mandates that you buy health insurance and car insurance or pay a fine (tax).

The Government controls our public schools with the DOE. It controls virtually everything with the EPA, which can come into your place of business with FBI agents, guns drawn, (assault weapons) and shut down your business anytime they want to.

Government seeks to control everything else with Agenda 21 and the global warming hoax. It takes away the property of people without due process. It tells people what they can and cannot do on their own land.

We were never supposed to be a "true Democracy". We are a Republic.

As Benjamin Franklin left the Constitutional Convention in 1787, he was approached by a Mrs. Powell, who asked him:

“What have you given us, Dr. Franklin?”

“A Republic,” he replied, “if you can keep it.”

It appears that way too many people are hung up on labels, rather than a sense of freedom and justice...for ALL.

Democracy is supposed to represent Power for the People, as a political ideology. As it exists in America today, we have an UNrepresentative Democracy, where gerrymandering, vote suppression shenanigans, and inequality rule. We elect 'representatives', who in all actuality, vote 'for us', as they would have the naive believe. Socialism is an economic system in which Government controls collectively the means of production and resources. With Corporateocracy, as we have here now, big corporations control resources and production, for the FEW. Nothing Socialist here. We certainly are not a true Democracy, as long as only some people are free.

"The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism, but under the name of liberalism they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program until one day America will be a socialist nation without ever knowing how it happened."

"I no longer need to run as a Presidential Candidate for the Socialist Party. The Democrat Party has adopted our platform." (Norman Thomas 6-time presidential candidate, Socialist Party of America)

Why would you want to advise folks to ignore what's happening, and how far do you want to go in that direction? Do you want to stop at it's doorstep or would rather wait in the foyer till the master of the house escorts you to the uh, dying room, because the living room is mothballed, covered with sheets, and otherwise uninhabitable?
