Letters To Ed :-)

"We've been duped by the Republicans. Kentucky Sen. and minority leader Mitch McConnell in a news conference one day after the election, stated that the single and sole goal of the GOP over the next two years is: to make Barack Obama a single term president. What an arrogant and obnoxious goal and statement. There agenda before the election was to get votes by promising that there first goals were jobs, the economy and health care reform. It seems their goal is to grab power, not to do things for the people that are in need of jobs and or unemployment pay, health care for those that don't have it, and the people losing their homes. This is the same party that wanted the auto plants and their suppliers to go out of business. We are just coming back from what they did to this country, and now we have them back to do the same things to our country again. What a mess the next two years is going to bring to this country. Talk about partisanship." Carl D. Leow Rogers Cit

Some are "popeless", obvious others are hopeless. While some prepare and accept the responsibility to protect their family and themselves, others "cling" to their cigarettes, bongs, pipes, and ****. They're already hellbent on killing themselves, and fortunately have no one else close enough to corrupt. So they turn their corruption attempts on us. Isn't it sweet? No, misery just yearns for company.

No, you go ahead and kill yourself. Ignore the signs of the times. Let your government be your master. Lie down and take it like the ignorant doormat you are. Eek out a non-human, celebratory, acquiescent, baaa, as you are repeatedly shorn by your owners and slavemasters.

Some of us would rather be free Men and Woman, and that's exactly what we'll be.

This government controlled by the left, is acting like the Taliban. They are trying to ban all kinds of things. The EPA is raiding businesses and homes across this country with FBI SWAT teams in tow.

This government has created thousands and thousands of extra pages of regulations. What kind of government has over 80,000 pages of regulations? There are tens of thousands of pages of healthcare regulations alone so far, on top of the 2700 page law itself.

It's also the left that is concentrating on social engineering with it's rules, laws and regs. and all the non-traditional schtuff they want to cram down our throats. Freedom is so much better, and freedom does not live on the left, subjugation does. The most deadly, murderous regimes ever to exist on planet Earth, were hard leftist regimes, i.e., communist and socialist.

nobo..Nobody thinks they need an anti asteroid gun until they need to use one so go buy one and cling to it in your bunker as you read your version of bible.

We can choose to live like the Taliban or be civilized. I see Benishek prefers to live like the Taliban. I see Burka sales are way down in Afganistan so now the christians can get a discount. Some of you people are a popeless case.

Ya know, Nobody thinks they need a 30 round mag until they need to use one. The fact is if you WANT one is all you should ever need to get one. That's America and thats the way it should be.

I reload my own bullets and shotgun shells and its STILL stupid expensive. Mags and drums are getting harder and harder to find but they are still out there if you are willing to spend the money. I'm putting my plans to build a bowling ball cannon on hold for now since it will cost about $40 per shot to play with it.

Folks should feel free to ban large magazines etc. from themselves. If you don't "need" it, don't buy it.

If there comes an EMP or a huge natural disaster of some kind, where hungry folks are roaming around in gangs stealing anything they can get, perhaps some will remember the stupid words they've spoken.

Maybe their last words will be, "you know, I wish I'd had less bullets". I doubt it though. 'Too many' is infinitely better than, 'not quite enough'.

Stupid people tend to be stupid in every subject. Can't think beyond the end of the next cigarette...and who the heck needs a 20-round magazine of those darn things? Some folks buy them in 200-round magazines, called cartons.

Like the type folk mentioned further above, we also call those folks just what they are, stupid.

freem..Fine, just don't ban guns because I use them more than most anyone but a gun shop owner. Even so, just like Jesus said, " I don't need no stinkin 30 round clip."

I just saw a picture of Willy Wonka holding a tiny version of Obama's head between his thumb and forefinger with the caption:

"...and this my friends, is an Everlasting Jobstopper."

Dear Snidely Whiplash:

Sir, I know you've been horribly maligned over the last few decades, with the way those Saturday morning cartoonists have portrayed you, but compared to B. Obama, I think you're a Gentleman's Gentleman, and a stand-up Toon.

If you could take enough time out of your rerun schedule to tie one last person to the railroad tracks, I'd personally appreciate it.

If you're willing and able, I'll create enough of a diversion to throw Gilbert Giddyup well off your trail. Choo choo!

Respectfully,

RS

Rhetoric, of course....

I think it's time to ban tobacco and alcohol, killed more people than guns by orders of magnitude, (even those who don't use them).

That pretty much FUBAR's amos57usa's life.

"He said to them, "But now if you have a purse, take it, and also a bag; and if you don't have a sword, sell your cloak and buy one." (Luke 22:36 NIV)

Swords...the weapon of the day in 33AD.

The weapon of today, 2013, is the AR-15. Most popular rifle in America.

norm..I promise you Jesus didn't like guns. I think it was Jesus who said "I don't need no stinkin 30 round clip." Or at least that's one interpetation of a translation of a rumor in a version of bible.

nobo..We are trying to take back our country from the filthy rich but the right wingers are obstructing and filibustering historically.

And, after all is said and done, the government will still be operating with more money than they had in 2012. That's the problem, dishonest democrats are touting the "sequester = job loss" line but are not telling you that they will spend more this year than last.

Give me a break people. President Obama should change his part affiliation from (D)emocrat to (D)emagoguery.

But by all means, send 60 million dollars to Syrian Barbarians for, uh, whatever they want to spend it on...

I guess the sequester won't hurt this generous act of philanthropy, however, according to O' and Co., life as we know it, will change drastically.

Planes won't fly, the military can't fight, furloughs forever, folks going hungry, Head Start will not have enough "slots" for kids, the moon will change directions upsetting tides, stars will refuse to shine, birds will no longer fly, and fish will drown.

Money to Syrian barbarians though? No problem.

Just keep lying and threaten reporters who dare step out of line and report truth about deception.

People keep saying this sequester is only 2%. It looks more like .2-.3% to me depending upon the annual reductions in growth.

If each agency head got a 1% bonus for each dollar saved, we'd have a freakin', frackin' surplus every year.

The only thing Obama has ever produced in his life are crisis. Even when he "solves" them, what he's really doing is exacerbating them.

He's a master exacerbator.

What he's been spurting out of his face-anus this week is geared specifically at no information voters. The low information voters should be able to see through it.

He knows it is in his best interest (and the nation's worst interest) for folks to be as ignorant as possible. If they were not, he couldn't say such inane things and get away with it.

If the media were not part of his ongoing campaign staff, he couldn't either. I wish the Statue of Liberty could stroll over to one of his whistle-(past-the-graveyard)-stops and knock him into orbit.

I have to say, however, that sitting with my friends and laughing at how the dems are characterizing the sequester is quite entertaining. I just can't believe that people actually buy into their clap trap.
