Letters To Ed :-)

"We've been duped by the Republicans. Kentucky Sen. and minority leader Mitch McConnell in a news conference one day after the election, stated that the single and sole goal of the GOP over the next two years is: to make Barack Obama a single term president. What an arrogant and obnoxious goal and statement. There agenda before the election was to get votes by promising that there first goals were jobs, the economy and health care reform. It seems their goal is to grab power, not to do things for the people that are in need of jobs and or unemployment pay, health care for those that don't have it, and the people losing their homes. This is the same party that wanted the auto plants and their suppliers to go out of business. We are just coming back from what they did to this country, and now we have them back to do the same things to our country again. What a mess the next two years is going to bring to this country. Talk about partisanship." Carl D. Leow Rogers Cit

No Normparrot it isn't. I don't like Bill O'. How many times do I need to say it. He's a stupid liberal that won't let his guests say anything without him feeling the need to talk over the top of them. I think he's a fool. Not as much as a fool as you are, but a fool nonetheless. You are orders of magnitude more the fool than he.

Why, does Bill go to Mackinaw a lot? Does he need to improve some of his property too?

Just because you have never had an original thought before doesn't mean that I never have. I gave original thoughts all the time. I've written and recorded more than 38 songs too while playing all of the instruments and singing all the parts on most of them.

I am as different from you as night is from day. As water is from dirt. OK, dirty darkness?

The way to tell whether or not I wrote something is this: There will be no quotation marks around it if I did not.

NOW, more important shredding of the Constitution. An Indiana politician is now demanding the recital of the 'Lords Prayer' in PUBLIC School classrooms, in direct opposition of the First Amendment. Yes, one Senator Dennis Kruse is exerting his religious fanaticism on school children. That ought to halt school shootings! Last year this demgogue tried to introduce Creationism in PUBLIC Schools, and was turned down. How cynical.

Between all the new Obamacare taxes, expenses and such, I wonder where the rich will cut back to take care of those. I'm not rich but I'll probably cut back at least one trip to Mackinaw Island, Mackinaw City and all those lovely stores, motels and restaurants there. I'll also have to curtail my property restoration/remodeling projects.

So instead of spending that money with small business owners, cooks, waitresses, managers, construction workers, artisans and such, it'll go to the government who will give it to non-workers and non-job-providers. Does this make any sense to anyone?

I wonder if a few million other folks like me who instead of "giving" that money to the government (as the government steals it), what would happen if we gave that money to workers? Might society need more workers? Should we be giving more money to workers and less money to non-workers? I don't know, one path leads to more workers and the other to more non-workers. Which should we prefer?

CNS News is reporting that "amidst the low job numbers, black unemployment rose sharply:

Unemployment for women rose to 7.3 percent in December from 7.0 percent while the rate for African-Americans rose sharply from 13.2 percent in November to 14 percent.

Unemployment among African Americans has remained quite high throughout the sluggish economic recovery of the past several years, despite the steady decline in overall unemployment in the economy generally.

The number of employed African Americans actually fell in December – a month that typically sees a spike in job creation as employers add temporary positions to handle the holiday shopping season."

No wonder blacks voted 90+percent for Obama. (?) his and the democrat's policies are great for them...if their goal is unemployment and/or multi-generational welfare. Who says you can't keep a black man down? Obama can. That's-a-fact-Jack.

Isn't that precious? Of course Sarah Palin was a crazy-head-whacko when she said Obamacare would have death panels, back in '09. Remember that?

Democrats are gullible, dumb-a-s-s, lie-lovers.

Exactly what are you liberal fools looking for in the way of improvement? I mean improvement in any area under the sun. Anything? Anything at all?

Right now nothing would be better for jobs than repealing Obamacare. That would be good for personal freedom too. It would also save people and business, a lot of money. Of course you're too blind and stupid to see that.

Violence against women is already against the law. In fact, violence against anyone is against the law. Why didn't you know that? Oh right, you're stupid.

"Providing health care to younger people offers “better value” since the elderly are “not going to live very long anyway,” contended a blogger for the liberal Slate magazine."

"Prior to joining Slate in 2011, Matthew Yglesias was a fellow at the Center for American Progress, which is deeply tied to the White House and has been heavily influential in informing Obama administration policy."

"Yglesias authored a blog posting on Monday titled “The Case For Death Panels, In One Chart."

Not to be outdone by the 112th Congress, THE worst ever, The opening, the very first piece of legislation offered, by that great thinker (pseudo-religious Conservative nutjob with a gay 'husband'), yes Michelle Bachmann, Repeal ObamaCare! NOT jobs, or Sandy relief, or Violence against Women, nothing remotely constructive. Yes, her goofy toothsome face all smiles as she begins the tomfoolery, as the previous Congress voted 33 times to Repeal, at a cost of $50 MIllion dollars and 88 hours of wasted time by estimates. The now 'famous' 112th Congress, ignoring the voters who approve of ObamaCare, and despite being rejected every step of the way, with the LANDSLIDE Romney loss, and Supreme Court approval of the program, The Ditz had the bawls to smile away as she began the 113th Congress with nonsense. Great job, Minnesota!

According to FBI annual crime statistics, the number of murders committed annually with hammers and clubs far outnumbers the number of murders committed with a rifle.

OK, when you run out of baloney, (and you're defnitely running it through it rather rapidly), and need some new shoes, (cuz you're doin' so much trippin'), c'mon over. I'll have at least one customer.

We don't take foodstamps for the shoes by the way, even though you so often have your foot in your mouth, they're still not considered food. I'm beginning to think your feet are made of baloney, in which case mere shoes won't solve your ongoing problem anyway. You need more basic stuff.

One of Al Jazeera’s most popular shows features Yusuf al-Qardawi, the spiritual leader of the Muslim Brotherhood who condones suicide bombings against Israeli civilians and backed attacks on U.S. troops in Iraq.

"Time Warner Cable pulled the plug on Current TV just hours after news of the cable channel’s sale to Al Jazeera became official. “This channel is no longer available on Time Warner Cable,” read an on-screen message where Current TV used to be found." (HuffPo)

Wisdom ? Rshrill? Afraid NOT. Paranoid delusions is about the sum of any wisdom you purport to present here. Nothing constructive, nothing REAL. In fact, you ought open up a baloney processing facility, to go along with clown shoe sales.

Do others speak common sense and basic wisdom so you don't have to? Yes, they do.

You can continue the attempt to lull fools like yourself into complete/total subjugation. Go ahead and sing them a lullaby while you're at it. Too many are not completely sound asleep yet. Before you do though, you might need to wake up yourself.

Why don't you actually read Agenda 21 yourself Normoonpie? It is a real document with real words and everything.

Did someone else read it for you so you don't have to? Did someone else work so you don't have to? Did someone else pay taxes so you don't have to? Did someone else hire folks so you don't have to? Did someone donate to charity so you don't have to? What good are you?

Any problems with the other quotes?

You might like this one:

"Gun control? It's the best thing you can do for crooks and gangsters. I want you to have nothing. If I'm a bad guy, I'm always gonna have a gun. Safety locks? You will pull the trigger with a lock on, and I'll pull the trigger. We'll see who wins.

It is comical, pathetic really, how a conspiracy theory can become so imbedded in a thought process. Agenda 21 is "a threat to our Constitution", says Mr. Little, while real threats come from within, as the threats I mentioned, warrantless searches, property seizures, incarceration without charges, imprisonment for victimless crimes, etc. ad nauseum, the sheeple just go along, like only certain freedoms are desirable, like the Second Amendment(a good one by the way). I value MY freedoms, at least the ones we are still allowed.

"One loves to possess arms, though they hope never to have occasion for them. (Thomas Jefferson to George Washington, 1796. The Writings of Thomas Jefferson, Memorial Edition, Lipscomb and Bergh, editors)

"We established however some, although not all its [self-government] important principles . The constitutions of most of our States assert, that all power is inherent in the people; that they may exercise it by themselves, in all cases to which they think themselves competent, (as in electing their functionaries executive and legislative, and deciding by a jury of themselves, in all judiciary cases in which any fact is involved,) or they may act by representatives, freely and equally chosen; that it is their right and duty to be at all times armed..."

It was in large part to the insistence of and by Thomas Jefferson that the Bill of Rights be included in the Constitution. The 2nd amendment is the 2nd of the 10.

The quote I have attributed to Thomas Jefferson was indeed quoted by him in one of his own writings: "Legal Commonplace Book." Jefferson originally read the quote in Italian and included it in his book.

There are many, many quotes from Jefferson regarding the importance he placed on the 2nd amendment.

"No freeman shall ever be debarred the use of arms. " (Thomas Jefferson: Draft Virginia Constitution, 1776)

"A strong body makes the mind strong. As to the species of exercises, I advise the gun. While this gives moderate exercise to the body, it gives boldness, enterprise and independence to the mind. Games played with the ball, and others of that nature, are too violent for the body and stamp no character on the mind.

The Muslims are coming, the Muslims are coming! Yes, let the Agenda 21 type conspiracy theorists(rSHRILL) begin wailing and gnashing of teeth. Al Jazeera is coming to America, with the deal recently made with Current TV, the Pan Arab news company will now be available to 60 to 100 million American homes. Unlike the Faux (Fox) 'news' some of us (shrill) are used to getting 'information' from, Stay tuned...for real news...
