Letters To Ed :-)

"We've been duped by the Republicans. Kentucky Sen. and minority leader Mitch McConnell in a news conference one day after the election, stated that the single and sole goal of the GOP over the next two years is: to make Barack Obama a single term president. What an arrogant and obnoxious goal and statement. There agenda before the election was to get votes by promising that there first goals were jobs, the economy and health care reform. It seems their goal is to grab power, not to do things for the people that are in need of jobs and or unemployment pay, health care for those that don't have it, and the people losing their homes. This is the same party that wanted the auto plants and their suppliers to go out of business. We are just coming back from what they did to this country, and now we have them back to do the same things to our country again. What a mess the next two years is going to bring to this country. Talk about partisanship." Carl D. Leow Rogers Cit

HH..Your car smokes and "there is good science to prove there are many ailments assoiated with [your] second hand smoke." You can quit starting it. Either that or you should be taxed 5X the cost of the product you are burning.

Science measured smoke from the burning end of cigarettes and compared it to the filtered end and found guess what..the burning end was worse. Hillary distorted that to make the bias idiots think that 2nd hand smokers were worse off than the smoker. So I havn't been in a resturant or bar since the ban, no big deal but cars pollute more than cigarettes. Majority rule isn't about fairness it's about power. Barry is putting up "Whites Only" signs. Smokers are the minority that the majority can try to rob. There is no gauntlet Norm. That's a guilt relief word for your discrimination.

Tea Party folks just speak their mind, ask that we adhere to the Constitution, and stop spending our great grand kids into oblivion. Then they leave the place cleaner than it was when they arrived. Ooooooh, scary. Radical.

When you're ready to name one Christian Terrorist, let me know. OK Commie?

"Steal This Book is a book written by Abbie Hoffman. Written in 1970 and published in 1971, the book exemplified the counter-culture of the sixties. The book sold more than a quarter of a million copies between April and November 1971.

The book, in the style of the counter-culture, mainly focused on ways to fight the government, and against corporations in any way possible. The book is written in the form of a guide to the youth. Hoffman, a political and social activist himself, used many of his own activities as the inspiration for some of his advice in Steal This Book." (Wikipedia)

The Weather Underground, Green Terrorists, Corporate Terrorists, Community Agitators, Saul Alinsky, Cloward and Piven. Domestic Terrorists from the left who have actually killed innocent people and destroyed private property including single family dwellings. OWS folks who tried to blow up a bridge in Ohio and caused tens of millions in damage to various cities. You know, stuff like that.

Hip Hop Hippie:

I didn't say the Oklahoma bombing was Islamic terrorism...The Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee of the House International Relations Committee said it was. An Islamic terrorist paid for the whole shebang and another Islamic terrorist was in the van with McVeigh. Read it again, this time for comprehension. Maybe Underdog or Porky Pig was really behind it, or, or, or, Pat Robertson and Jerry Falwell.

Perhaps you missed the quotation marks in my post. I thought you believed and approved of everything the federal government says and does without objection.

The only group I see trying to shove their "approved" behavior down our throats is the left. Do you need a list of all those throat-shoving episodes?

Got any quotes from Jimmah Cahtuh? Hang on a second...let me grab a fine cigar and "hide" while I smoke it...your shoving your beliefs down my throat notwithstanding...OK commie? OK.

"The big thing is to make this country, along with every other country in the world with a few exceptions, quit discriminating against people just because they're gay. You don't have to agree with it, but they have a constitutional right to be gay. And that's what brings me into it." Goldwater in 1994 Washington Post interview.

"When you say "radical right" today, I think of these moneymaking ventures by fellows like Pat Robertson and others who are trying to take the Republican Party away from the Republican Party, and make a religious organization out of it. If that ever happens, kiss politics goodbye."

claim the right to dictate their moral beliefs to me? And I am even more angry as a legislator who must endure the threats of every religious group who thinks it has some God-granted right to control my vote on every roll call in the Senate. I am warning them today: I will fight them every step of the way if they try to dictate their moral convictions to all Americans in the name of "conservatism." Speech in the US Senate (16 September 1981)

"On religious issues there can be little or no compromise. There is no position on which people are so immovable as their religious beliefs. There is no more powerful ally one can claim in a debate than Jesus Christ, or God, or Allah, or whatever one calls this supreme being. But like any powerful weapon, the use of God's name on one's behalf should be used sparingly. The religious factions that are growing throughout our land are not using their religious clout with wisdom. They are trying to force government leaders into following their position 100 percent. If you disagree with these religious groups on a particular moral issue, they complain, they threaten you with a loss of money or votes or both. I'm frankly sick and tired of the political preachers across this country telling me as a citizen that if I want to be a moral person, I must believe in "A," "B," "C" and "D." Just who do they think they are? And from where do they presume t

Reading a bit about a great conservative, Barry Goldwater. It appears he was somewhat of a prophet: "Mark my word, if and when these preachers get control of the [Republican] party, and they're sure trying to do so, it's going to be a terrible*****problem. Frankly, these people frighten me. Politics and governing demand compromise. But these Christians believe they are acting in the name of God, so they can't and won't compromise. I know, I've tried to deal with them. Said in November 1994, as quoted in John Dean, Conservatives Without Conscience (2006)"

SHRILL, you are a gullible fool if you think the Oklahoma City bombing was an act of Islamic Terrorism. Do you want to buy some swamp land in Ossineke? You can stop by and look at it on the way to your next John Birch Society meeting. It would be a good spot for a militia base or a neo-nazi training camp if you don't mind getting wet.

"The 2nd hand smoke BS came out of bad science". My dad smoked three packs of Pall Mall non-filters a day and my mother smoked one. They had so many smokes lying around it was easy to pick up the habit, which lasted for thirty-three years in my case before I quit. Our house was like a four-alarm fire without the flames. I think it is horribly irresponsible for parents to smoke in a house with children, and horribly rude to do so in public places. There is GOOD science to prove there are many ailments associated with second hand smoke. Smoking is a filthy habit--you SHOULD have to hide to do it. If I can quit anyone can.

Right-wingers in this country want to adhere to our Constitution. They want to remain a Capitalistic, free, society of rugged individualism. Many but not all are Christians. Some are Libertarians.

If they are Socialists, they are not right-wingers. If they are Communists they are not right-wingers. Get your definitions right and pull your head out of your sorry, loser, ass.

Socialists and Communists support Obama and the Progressive Caucus...just like you.

"Hussain al-Hussaini, an Iraqi soldier in Saddam Hussein’s Army, sat beside Timothy McVeigh in the Ryder truck that had been financed by Ramzi Yousef, the nephew of 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed.

The Oklahoma City bombing, exactly 15 years ago Monday, was not in reality the work of “right-wing extremists” at all. It was the first heinous Islamic terror attack on American soil."

I don't see any Christians or right-wingers in there. Plus, you have no idea what a right-winger is. You think Mussolini and Hitler were right-wingers.

Not in this country they're not, and not by any historic definition, anywhere except by other socialists trying to deflect.

Mussolini was a life-long Socialist and Hitler had the word Socialist in his freakin' government!

Numbskull fool.

Stupid, lying, sack O' sh*t, pothead, who doesn't know anything about anything.

He was ridiculously anti-semitic (like you, Sureflunked, and most Muslims)neo-Nazi-type.

Nazi's were Socialists and horribly anti-semitic. The left and Muslims...anti-semitic bedfellows, hoping to change our system to full-blown socialism.

Nothing whatsoever right-wing about that.

Name one Christian terrorist.

McVeigh was not Christian. He was raised as a Catholic and rejected it...just like you.

Scum.

The HORROR! The HORROR!...from Apocalypse Now. The TERROR in Boston could very well be termed HORRORISM.Was it Muslim extremists, like some wags would have us believe, or was it Christian Horrorists? Stay tuned for the tin hat crowd's version, or have we already heard it...

"The Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee of the House International Relations Committee investigated possible foreign connections involved in the Oklahoma City bombing. According to a report from subcommittee Chairman Dana Rohrabacher, R-Calif., Hussain al-Hussaini, an Iraqi soldier in Saddam Hussein’s Army, sat beside Timothy McVeigh in the Ryder truck that had been financed by Ramzi Yousef, the nephew of 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed.

The Oklahoma City bombing, exactly 15 years ago Monday, was not in reality the work of “right-wing extremists” at all. It was the first heinous Islamic terror attack on American soil."

By the way Normaryjane: Pot smoking every day for probably 40 years or so might just introduce some smoke into your lungs. But since you've "never smoked", perhaps you just pop a bud right into your mouth and eat it right?

You guys are the dumbest, most misinformed, liars, ever.
