Letters To Ed :-)

"We've been duped by the Republicans. Kentucky Sen. and minority leader Mitch McConnell in a news conference one day after the election, stated that the single and sole goal of the GOP over the next two years is: to make Barack Obama a single term president. What an arrogant and obnoxious goal and statement. There agenda before the election was to get votes by promising that there first goals were jobs, the economy and health care reform. It seems their goal is to grab power, not to do things for the people that are in need of jobs and or unemployment pay, health care for those that don't have it, and the people losing their homes. This is the same party that wanted the auto plants and their suppliers to go out of business. We are just coming back from what they did to this country, and now we have them back to do the same things to our country again. What a mess the next two years is going to bring to this country. Talk about partisanship." Carl D. Leow Rogers Cit

Those who claim that nothing is happening and no one is taking our rights away should be pilloried, and they will be, deservedly so. No name is too vile for them and no description is too ugly.

...right along with them. Binding contracts. Your city and town councils are selling your property and other rights in exchange for these grants, and anyone who objects is swamped with ridicule. It should be the other way around, and it will be from me.

Some are unconcerned that more and more of our rights are being thwarted. One day they will be crying the loudest. Today though, they are all aboard with all of it.

Nevermind the new gun laws in NY, CO. and CT. These same scum keep repeating that no one wants to take their guns away, right in the middle of it happening. These laws should be soundly defeated in the courts.

"In the pre-dawn hours Saturday, the Senate approved a measure “to uphold Second Amendment rights and prevent the United States from entering into the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty."

"By a vote of 53-46, the Senate passed the amendment to the budget bill sponsored by Senator Jim Inhofe (R-Okla.)" (March 23, 2013)

"According to a story in The Hill, Senator Patrick Leahy (D-Vt.) proposed his own amendment “that clarified that under current U.S. law, treaties don’t trump the Constitution and that the United States should not agree to any arms treaty that violates the Second Amendment rights.” Leahy’s amendment also passed." (The Hill)

So once again, Obama not only ignores the will of the people, but also the will of the Senate. He is lawless. Makes Nixon look like Mother Teresa. The UN will regulate nothing in this country. Nothing...ever.

Cities, and towns are following Agenda 21 voluntarily in exchange for grants with coercive, contracts written rig

Be ready for it, folks! Be prepared for the running around in circles crowd of NRA agitated Second Amendment rights being taken away foil hat wearing hosers, all screaming about the Agenda 21 UN desire to take YOUR guns away. The United Nations has adopted "the first ever treaty on Global Arms Trade that seeks to regulate the $70Billion International trade in conventional Arms", by a vote of 154 to 3, with 23 abstentions. Iran, North Korea, and Syria voted NO, and major Arms producing states Russia, China, Cuba, Venezuela and Bolivia abstaining. The NUMBER ONE state, theUnited States voted for the process, in spite of protestations by the usual suspects, the NRA. The ratification process could take a couple years or so, so let the wailing and gnashing of teeth begin.

"A judge accepted the California city of Stockton's bankruptcy application on Monday, making it the most populous city in the nation to enter bankruptcy." (CNBC)

Do you know why all of these California cities are going bankrupt? Because they all have the same ideology as Normaggot, Jaxodingbat, and 57-IQ.

Name a city or state that has been run perpetually by democrats that is not going bankrupt, deep in debt, or a complete sh*thole with huge unemployment numbers.

Liberalism does not work. It fails, without exception.

So, all of the rest of the world is going to stop drilling and refining oil so Canada can handle 100% of the demand for six years?

You are the dumbest guy evah!

Obama has already thrown Billions at "alternative" energy source companies. So has Europe. Have any of O's crony companies not gone belly up? Did you know that even your computer was made from oil? Look at all the products made from oil you freakin' dunce-cap.

The next generation needs real jobs, not imaginary ones, and not communism. A viable energy source would pay for itself. It's called the free market.

My vehicles run on gas. My kid's vehicles also run on gas. You run on methane, weed, and BS.

Mayflower, Arkansas, the site of the heavy tar sands crude oil spill(EXXON Mobil), is concerned about the oil flowing into nearby Lake Conway. Residents report a toxic smell, and are experiencing dizzy spells from the odor. At the current rate of 32.2 billion barrels per year world wide consumption, the FINITE reserve situated in Canada's Tar Sands is measured at about 168 billion barrels, which is 6 years worth. With all the professed 'concern' for future generations by politicians, the demand for oil resources and the profligate use of it with NO concern for alternative energy AT the expense of our environment is irresponsible.

By the way, Earth is not a Mother. It is in fact a planet.

But if the Earth is your Mother, it explains how you got to be such a dirt clod.

To ANYbody that CARES about the environment, there is a short video on Utube, even those of you with a short attention span, could find the time to view it. Also, the EPA has just demanded further mitigation from Enbridge on the Kalamazoo spill two years ago, which is still plaguing the area. This is not some far away issue, this is MICHIGAN.

If we had the XL pipeline, oil wouldn't have to be transported by Warren Buffet's trains now would it? Idiot.

Rshrill, YOU are a LIAR. As of today, I will no longer read your pathetic posts and the apologies you offer for major polluters of the sacred Mother Earth. I will pass you by for the moron you appear to be.

...ANOTHER spill of the same dirty oil happened two days previous, when a train carrting the material spilled 15,000 gallons in Minnesota.(again, EXXON), which received recently a 1.7 million dollar fine for a spill in Yellowstone of 42,000 gallons of TAR SANDS crude, a mere pittance whaen a company 'earned' a 45 BILLION dollar profit in 2011. So, folks, believe the EXXON admen, and the politicians who are sponsored by them, that the XL is a "no brainer" (Rep. Terry Lee, R. NE), and believe the State Department, which states that the pipeline will have NO impact on the environment. (the study was authored by a contractor with ties to Big Oil). A recent bid to eliminate Big Oil subsidies was just rejected by the Senate. Sequester, my arse!

"The company said on Sunday that 12,000 barrels of oil and water had been recovered.

Engelmann said the ruptured section of the pipeline was installed in the late 1940s, but had no information on when it last underwent maintenance."

Wow Normudpie. They cleaned up 2,000 more gallons than you say leaked? That's pretty good. You also failed to mention that the pipe was built in the 1940's. The XL would be built about 70 years after that one.

Ya'reckon age and new technology might have anything to do with anything?

Good thing we have a "moron" like you explaining things to us. I especially like how you leave out so much, and have no idea what the heck you're talking about.

To all you Keystone XL pipeline fans out there...an EXXON MOBIL tar sands oil carrying pipeline ruptured in Arkansas, leaking 10,000 barrels of CRUDE OIL, causing a massive cleanup to go with the evacuation of 22 homes. The Pegasus pipeline, which can carry up to 90,000 barrels of the dirty oil per day, is smaller than the Keystone proposed line that would carry 9 times that number, about 810,000 barrels of the extremely volatile, extremely corrosive, extremely harmful to the environment crude oil PER DAY. A moron could determine how bad a spill could be with the XL.

At least the young people of America are too well informed to fall for religious craziness and find better ways to spend a Sunday than nail themselves to a T.

24 men in the Philippines crucified themselves. One had on a hand's free cellphone, so I admire his foresight.

The problem:

"Honey, I told you never to call me while I'm being crucified!"

"This one's for us".

Dick Cheney's explanation for the second tax cut for the wealthy.

I would rather our economy be based upon some economic theory other than Darth Vader's greed.

Go Blue. Sorry about Kevin Ware's shattered leg.
