Letters To Ed :-)

"We've been duped by the Republicans. Kentucky Sen. and minority leader Mitch McConnell in a news conference one day after the election, stated that the single and sole goal of the GOP over the next two years is: to make Barack Obama a single term president. What an arrogant and obnoxious goal and statement. There agenda before the election was to get votes by promising that there first goals were jobs, the economy and health care reform. It seems their goal is to grab power, not to do things for the people that are in need of jobs and or unemployment pay, health care for those that don't have it, and the people losing their homes. This is the same party that wanted the auto plants and their suppliers to go out of business. We are just coming back from what they did to this country, and now we have them back to do the same things to our country again. What a mess the next two years is going to bring to this country. Talk about partisanship." Carl D. Leow Rogers Cit

Oversight is a primary function of congress. What part of civics class did you miss?

Committee hearings and investigations are a part of congressional process. Grow up young man.

The New York Times reported IN 2010..

"..With growing scrutiny of the role of tax-exempt groups in political campaigns, Congressional Republicans are pushing back against Democrats by warning about the possible misuse of the Internal Revenue Service to audit conservative groups….And the Republicans are also upset about an I.R.S. review requested by Senator Max Baucus, the Montana Democrat who leads the Finance Committee, into the political activities of tax-exempt groups. Such a review threatens to "chill the legitimate exercise of First Amendment rights," wrote two Republican senators, Orrin G. Hatch of Utah and Jon Kyl of Arizona, in a letter sent to the I.R.S. on Wednesday. ... Democrats dismissed the Republicans' complaints as groundless..."

jax is as blind as he wants to be.

"Living room moguls"? Revealing one's ignorance is never attractive jaxspp.

Ignorance is bliss and you are one happy camper.

Good luck with that.

It'd be nice if democrats were statesmen and oath-keepers rather than accomplices.

They are going to have to pull out all the stops with regards to election fraud this next time. You know, like they did last time.

Only commie apps to the IRS should fly right through...good point. Jump on that point, and rotate till November.

Posted 535 days ago.

The just in: The GOP is announcing an investigation into the investigations to find out why the investigations are coming up with squat.

"There is no there, there." (Jaxofool)

Sounds like a quote from your neurologist.

The living room business moguls weigh in. There is no there, there. This is what Republicans do when they are in power. Endless investigations, endless wars, tax cuts for the wealthy, destruction of the infrastructure. Vote Jeb Bush in 2016, you know what's coming with a Bush: a war and recession. To line yourself up with arsonist car thief Issa, who even the GOP is leery of, and think that he has any semblance to a normal human being tells me neither of you have any moral values whatsoever. And Factless Free, it was done to progressive groups. Just because you think Koch Brother backed groups applications should just fly right through the IRS doesn't make it so.

The huge complex in Utah, "is the equivalent of a giant thumb drive." (Catherine Herridge...Homeland Security correspondent)

She flew over the complex in a rented helicopter. A little later the FBI was knocking on that pilot's door.

The Army Corp of Engineers began planning this complex and looking for contractors, in 2009.

Imagine a thumb-drive the size of 17 football fields. They've had to invent new words to describe it's memory storage capabilities.

Nixon was apparently right when he said that he was "not a crook"...at least not by today's standards.

This scandal goes all the way to the White House senior staff. By their own admission they "did not want to bother the President" with an ongoing investigation. Chief of Staff and White House Counsel.

We were lied to about Benghazi, EPA, HHS, DOJ, IRS.... Really?

It's really not about you jaxspp, get over yourself and get a refund from the "University" you earned your "MBA" from.

So "conservative Joe" saw something he needed guidance on in a particular application. He asks for guidance for Washington and it is provided. Case closed? Umm no.

Washington then asks for hundreds of similar applications be scrutinized. The same "Washington", I might add that reported that "a couple of rogue agents in Cincinnati" were to blame.

"Conservative Joe" is a red herring jaxspp and you should be able to see that from a mile away.

Come on man!,,,,

This agency has way too much power to not be held accountable. People need to go to jail. Felonies were committed with regard to private information being released. Making these people wait years for status then be given 20 days to gather the most intrusive information, (much of which could never be produced), is criminal, I don't care who the applicants were. I don't care about the politics in this. THIS IS WRONG, IT IS AN ABUSE OF POWER AND SHOULD BE ABHORRENT TO ANY AMERICAN.

Instead of listening to the wingnuts of the world, look at these situations for what they are.

Strip away the political rhetoric and view them for what they are.

" Of each particular thing ask: what is it in itself? What is its nature? "

To be clear, the posts are not about you, they are about a state of ignorance that people like you consistently display.

People like you refuse to acknowledge that which walks up and all but slaps you in the the forehead.

My facts have always been pretty grounded.

Jax, you have to get it through your thick little noggin that IT DOESN'T MATTER who did it. It does not matter!!!

It matters that it was done in a disparate manner. I would be just as mad if it were done to Move On, Planned Parenthood or any other group. You cannot, in any way shape or fashion, condone the act of a government agency that intimidates citizens like the IRS did.

By the way, the fact that one man asked for guidance on one case does not mean that person is responsible for the hundreds of subsequent cases that Washington THEN ASKED FOR!

You have to start reading the complete stories, not just the headlines.

Meanwhile, back in the real world of people, some are finally awaking from their former stupor:

Washington Post hits Obama - "I too have become disillusioned"

Read it, those of you with some level of mental function remaining. The author nails it...in the Washington Post. Uh huh...surprised me as well.

You don't have a single iota, of one scintilla, of a clue, about any topic at hand.

You're nothing but a festering, predictable, mound of congealed, goat vomit.

Fester in your own stench. You are not a man.

Posted 535 days ago.

And as I've said plenty of times about Factless Freeman, he seems pretty obsessed with making posts about me rather than the topic at hand.

Well, well, the holding up of Tea Party 501c applications was initiated by a self-described conservative Republican. I wonder why Issa withheld that little piece of testimony from the public? Because maybe it didn't fit in with Republicans pre-conceived conclusions? As a said, a whine-fest with plenty of cheese and paranoia mixed in. Not to fret though, Republicans still have millions to waste on this witch hunt and all the other little scandals that aren't.

Wait until you're a victim yourself, OK? Just like every other stupid, suicidal, history-bereft, commie.

rshill You pathetic numskull, where were you with your three corner hat and pitchfork buddies when Bush and his evil Dick pushed through the Patriot Act?

I was out protesting it; the illegal war Iraq and torturing people, with many liberals.

This is not the first time it has happen, the rightwing nuts did the same with communist and labor unions in the fifties and the brave war protesters of the sixties.

Now that it is on Fox News you climb out from under your rock and cry like a baby.

Hey, go down and ask the government for a permit to protest against it and if they don’t give it to you, well you’ll just have to go home like a good Teabagger should.
