Letters To Ed :-)

"We've been duped by the Republicans. Kentucky Sen. and minority leader Mitch McConnell in a news conference one day after the election, stated that the single and sole goal of the GOP over the next two years is: to make Barack Obama a single term president. What an arrogant and obnoxious goal and statement. There agenda before the election was to get votes by promising that there first goals were jobs, the economy and health care reform. It seems their goal is to grab power, not to do things for the people that are in need of jobs and or unemployment pay, health care for those that don't have it, and the people losing their homes. This is the same party that wanted the auto plants and their suppliers to go out of business. We are just coming back from what they did to this country, and now we have them back to do the same things to our country again. What a mess the next two years is going to bring to this country. Talk about partisanship." Carl D. Leow Rogers Cit

"Reagan helped create the Taliban and Osama Bin Laden. Reagan fought a proxy war with the Soviet Union by training, arming, equipping, and funding Islamist mujahidin fighters in Afghanistan. Reagan funneled billions of dollars, along with top-secret intelligence and sophisticated weaponry to these fighters through the Pakistani intelligence service. The Talbian and Osama Bin Laden — a prominent mujahidin commander — emerged from these mujahidin groups Reagan helped create, and U.S. policy towards Pakistan remains strained because of the intelligence services’ close relations to these fighters. In fact, Reagan’s decision to continue the proxy war after the Soviets were willing to retreat played a direct role in Bin Laden’s ascendancy."

Carter created 10.5 million jobs in 4 years, Bush 1 million jobs in 8 years. Bears repeating. Those with no stake in the Iraq war love Bush, not their blood or anyone they knew dying for no reason whatsoever. The dead and wounded are just numbers to them.

Republicans couldn't name 3 presidents if you spotted them Lincoln and Reagan.

I didn't even read Fletcher or Speer for free. I will stop in for obits and a comment here. The right wing Alpena News can't separate natural human selfishness from greed. I hear Bob Greene did a fine piece on religion.

...and be made to write the U.S. Constitution in both English and Sanskrit at least 100 times, just before having it inscribed in cuneiform on his or her forehead.

A new poll asked folks to identify the worst President since WWII, and most folks named Barack Obama. Those same folks also said Reagan was the best. No surprise there, or there.

I'd like to hear the same question posed about who the worst President was with the timeline extended back to George Washington's day, just to prove that most people would name O' the worst U.S. President of all time. Think his worst trophy numbers would rise like a superheated B.O. balloon.

To his credit though, he "organized" much more than a "community", he organized an entire nation, into rating he as the worst. That's natural, innate, organizational talent there folks!

Ok, but who was second to the worst? Well, I think Barack would fill that position too, with Jimmy Carter coming in a close third.

The acronym for the Obama administration and his democrat sycophant's use of the the phrase "war on women" is WOW. Appropriate isn't it? It's what you'd say to the most hypocritical thing you've ever seen or heard. Wow!

Each time they use that phrase, you should probaly think of WOW, much like you think of FBI when someone says Federal Bureau of Investigation, or IRS when some says Internal Revenue Service, which should incidentally, change it's acronym to something more like EMBHP, for E-Mail Black Hole Phenomenon.

I think 'War on Women' ought be changed to women's war on Obama. WWOB, whether that acronym looks like a southern radio station or not.

Obama's female staff still make about 10K less than his male staff, and I had no idea his male staff was even entitled to separate pay. (rimshot!) Not sure what Julia makes as a cartoon character though, probably duppin'. The person who came up with it though should be a paid a proper whoppin' whippin'...

Breaking!

Hillary's book sales suck! Is it because sycophants can't read? Does she offer audio versions?

Norm, help me out here. Turn your BS generator off for a second, it's interfering with the frequency of Jax's.

What, if at all, do you think?

Confusing 'communism' with theocratic fascism is easy for the simple minded, as shrill is so fond of spreading misconceptions.

BS is BS, there is no substituting. SHRILL, your stock in trade has always been pretending, so keep it up, we need a comic foil. Jax, you will need to say it again, it takes several tries to get through a thick skull, as it is easier to deny than to read and absorb.

The News is now running editorials and news no one reads, unless they pay $15 a month. I guess it will be adios if they block the posting here, which I am sure is coming. You can still get the news for free from alpenanow, but who would pay for Fletcher's drivel?

A bunch of black people voted for a Republican in Mississippi and the Tea Party is claiming fraud. Doesn't get funnier than that. GOP is courting blacks, but doesn't want them to vote. Hilarious.

RS, I'll repeat it for you. Hobby Lobby used to cover the abortion inducing drugs until Obama got in. Also, Hobby Lobby's 401K investments include many companies who perform abortions. But what is it about Obama they don't like, something, what could it be?

Rather than go to site called Americans For Prosperity, I should look for one called Americans For Poverty, or Americans For Communism?

Normudflap: It ain't a BS detector, it's a BS generator. Big difference dumbass.

Jaxie: Hobby Lobby doesn't have a problem with contraception, never did. Their problem is with abortion inducing meds. See the difference? I didn't think so, cuz MSNBC and Mother Jones can't see it either, and they be your eyes, ears, nose, and brain-substitute.

Amass: If you want to see babies and corporations executed, go to a blue state. Texas prefers killing the guilty. Blue states are where innocence is killed and the guilty go "free". Texas ain't like that.

It is winter in Antarctica, SHRILL. You are merely regurgitating the anti-science rhetoric. AGAIN, my BS detector has kicked in. I say BS.

Hobby Lobby sells Chinese made products, supposedly arts and crafts, I call it crap. They invest in pills and devices commonly used in abortions. Hypocrisy? Yes, my built in BS detector has kicked in on this issue.
