Letters To Ed :-)

"We've been duped by the Republicans. Kentucky Sen. and minority leader Mitch McConnell in a news conference one day after the election, stated that the single and sole goal of the GOP over the next two years is: to make Barack Obama a single term president. What an arrogant and obnoxious goal and statement. There agenda before the election was to get votes by promising that there first goals were jobs, the economy and health care reform. It seems their goal is to grab power, not to do things for the people that are in need of jobs and or unemployment pay, health care for those that don't have it, and the people losing their homes. This is the same party that wanted the auto plants and their suppliers to go out of business. We are just coming back from what they did to this country, and now we have them back to do the same things to our country again. What a mess the next two years is going to bring to this country. Talk about partisanship." Carl D. Leow Rogers Cit

I guess you explained how a bed-ridden person on home health care was going to get a picture ID, I must have missed it.

Can't you sign an affidavit if you don't have a picture ID? I think you can.

Posted 140 days ago.

My mother has never in her life had a picture ID and voted in every election up until the last one.

I don't know what happened, we were singing Kumbaya about music at Christmas , now we are at each other again. I will try, Mr. Freeman, and Mr. RS, to be a little kinder.

I ragged on your mother? No liarhead. I ragged on you for saying that your mother had no ID and needed to be able to vote without one.

In other words, you used her, and lied about her, to try and make a point about voter ID requirements. Remember?

Would you still like to maintain that she either had nor has no ID?

A pig shouldn't project his own porkiness on another for pointing out what a slab of fatback he is. Right pig?

Right.

Alzheimer's is tough on family members. My aunt had it and I have no idea how my uncle kept up. He was able to keep her home with him until her death. I think the hardest thing in the world is having a loved one "forget" who you are.

Keep your chin up,,,

Did you have a mother like RS? Mine is still bedridden with Alzheimer's, if you remember RS ragging on her. But they can't all be Mother McCree like his.

I never said I was worse off, the U.S. economy is struggling and this President seems to be doing everything he can to prolong that struggle. Pure and simple. His actions speak for themselves.

IRS update: DOJ has not interviewed IRS director(s), complainants, or many of the people in the agency accused by Lois as having perpetrated the acts.

YUP Sounds like a comprehensive "INVESTIGATION" to me.

Thanks for the prediction Fact-Free. I'll put it with your "Romney will win" prediction."

Posted 140 days ago.

Again, Fact-Free, I am sorry you are worse off than you were in 2008. Many are better off, but please quit blaming Obama for your personal failure. Take some courses, try to improve yourself. I would start with some business courses if I were you.

I agree the JAMA is a respected source, you just misrepresent what the JAMA article says, or you didn't read it, or you don't understand what you read, or you see what you want to see,,,,,

Just wait until after the midterms when the FED cuts the QE and the markets start to respond. Add to this the employer mandates in the ACA that take effect in September/October, (if they are not pushed back beyond the midterms, again), and you have a recipe for DISASTER.

You're starting to look a bit pathetic.

Posted 140 days ago.

Fact-Free, you will note that the Journal of the American Medical Association is a respected scientific source...oops, science, never mind.

Posted 140 days ago.

Fact-free makes a fool of himself after his afternoon nap. Clinton should have taken care of bin Laden, just like Hitler should have been assassinated in 1932 for starting WWII in 1939. Back to the Living Room World couch, Fact-Free.

I'm happy you want to isolate Bush's administration but facts are facts and the current administration has bungled EVERYTHING it has touched since 2009. B-U-N-G-L-E-D.

No leadership, constant lies, backtracking, throwing allies under the bus and totally ignoring the American middle class.

History is the ultimate judge and I know that Jimmy Carter sleeps just a bit better every night knowing the B.O. has taken the mantle of most inept President in modern times.

As far as Clinton warning the Bush administration, why didn't Billy go and get Osama when he had the chance? That is just stupid jaxspp.

YOU DIDN'T EVEN READ THE JAMA ARTICLE DID YOU?????

What a putz!!!! You have got to be kidding me!!!

It's a study that was interested in HEALTH CARE SPENDING, not the actual health, of the study participants.
