Letters To Ed :-)

"We've been duped by the Republicans. Kentucky Sen. and minority leader Mitch McConnell in a news conference one day after the election, stated that the single and sole goal of the GOP over the next two years is: to make Barack Obama a single term president. What an arrogant and obnoxious goal and statement. There agenda before the election was to get votes by promising that there first goals were jobs, the economy and health care reform. It seems their goal is to grab power, not to do things for the people that are in need of jobs and or unemployment pay, health care for those that don't have it, and the people losing their homes. This is the same party that wanted the auto plants and their suppliers to go out of business. We are just coming back from what they did to this country, and now we have them back to do the same things to our country again. What a mess the next two years is going to bring to this country. Talk about partisanship." Carl D. Leow Rogers Cit

• Adopting more effective programs to reduce the current rate of inflation and prevent a reacceleration of inflation as we approach high employment; and

• Pursuing international economic policies that promote economic recovery throughout the world, encourage an expansion of world trade, and maintain a strong international monetary system..."

• Adopting promptly an effective national energy program;

• Managing Federal budget expenditures carefully and prudently, so that we can meet national needs while gradually reducing the share of our national output devoted to Federal spending;

• Using tax reductions to ensure steady growth of the private economy and reforming the tax system to make it fairer, simpler, and more progressive;

• Working to reduce the Federal deficit and balance the budget as rapidly as the developing strength of the economy allows;

• Improving existing programs and developing new ones to attack the problem of structural unemployment among the disadvantaged;

• Promoting greater business capital formation in order to enhance productivity gains, increase standards of living, and reduce the chances that capacity shortages would inhibit expansion later on;

"...These four economic objectives are sufficiently ambitious to constitute a serious challenge, but sufficiently realistic to be within our reach. A well-designed program will permit us to achieve them. The principal elements of my economic strategy are:

That's what makes President Obama's policy record so abysmal. His capacity "gap" should be adding jobs at the rate of about 300K a month. It is not and his administration seems to be doing everything in their collective power to slow growth.

jaxspp,

First, the economy under Carter was performing UNDER capacity, hence, job creation was far easier.

G.W. Bush presided over an economy that was near capacity, joblessness was low, hence, new job creation would NATURALLY slow.

Where, exactly did you get your "MBA"?

Carter 10.5 million jobs in 4 years. Dubya 1 million jobs in 8 years.

I'll take inept over what you consider to be "ept".

Isn't it funny how amos57usa actually thinks anyone cares to listen to his christian bashing?

Happy Easter moron.

"President" Obama sanctions 7 people in Russia for crossing a sovereign border.

Jimmy Carter is jumping for joy right now because he is not NOT the most inept President in U.S. history. Congrats Jimmy!!!

Some clergy complained christianity has to many "thou shalt nots" and that their religion is just "pray, pay and obey". Right away I thought of not so freeman who prays, pays and obeys. It's great to be a real free man not a make believe one.

RS is back in business, but is he coming back here?

Then you have the President stating "not a smidgeon of corruption..."

The coverup is starting to unravel.

She knows that she perjured herself in 2010, 2011 and 2012. There are 3 felonies.

An enforcement arm of the government engaging in abusive practice is very serious.

I'll tell you, it goes higher than Lois, she'll spill everything when she gets immunity.

More documents and emails are forthcoming, (after more than a year's efforts to blow off a congressional subpoena).

Your obsession with this is something else. Maybe, maybe, they'll get Lerner on something, which is the GOP goal, to get her in shackles like Susan McDougall. Would save time if you would only speak when something occurs, which would limit your posts to once every 6 months or so.

...when administrations ignore the statute...

Posted 139 days ago.

Freeman

That, normanlake, is what you get when administrations that ignore the statute.

The executive branch as, over many years and many administrations, slowly eroded the checks and balances via "executive orders" and over / stupid regulation.

Can you tell me the difference between 'Exclusively', and 'Primarily'? The word was changed from exclusive to primary purely by IRS fiat, with no input from government. That exchange opened the floodgates to misuse, by political agenda.

Republicans call the republican party stupid and whackobirds while other republicans wonder why republicans have no merit. Bring on the clown car again.

Bloomberg March 11, 2014

"..In e-mails being released today by a congressional committee, Lerner wondered why Congress wasn’t getting more criticism, hoped that the Federal Election Commission would “save the day” and wrote that political nonprofit groups “itching for a constitutional challenge” might file a court case that leads the IRS to accelerate the release of specific information about groups denied tax-exempt status..."

USA Today May 2013 same article.

"...That problem was compounded when examiners asked more intrusive questions in what's known as a "development" process. "Some of the development letters that were send were far too broad and include things like asking for the organization's donor list, which is not generally what we do," Lerner said...."

Also asked that applicants provide content of prayers, lists of every speaker at every event and a transcript of their speech. A transcript of all social media posts...etc. REALLY?

Impossible hurdles placed in front of applicants is abusive to say the least.
