Letters To Ed :-)

"We've been duped by the Republicans. Kentucky Sen. and minority leader Mitch McConnell in a news conference one day after the election, stated that the single and sole goal of the GOP over the next two years is: to make Barack Obama a single term president. What an arrogant and obnoxious goal and statement. There agenda before the election was to get votes by promising that there first goals were jobs, the economy and health care reform. It seems their goal is to grab power, not to do things for the people that are in need of jobs and or unemployment pay, health care for those that don't have it, and the people losing their homes. This is the same party that wanted the auto plants and their suppliers to go out of business. We are just coming back from what they did to this country, and now we have them back to do the same things to our country again. What a mess the next two years is going to bring to this country. Talk about partisanship." Carl D. Leow Rogers Cit

Some Judges to it (Consitution), some don't. About half the Supremes try to adhere to it. To the others, it's whatever they want it to be. Guess which ones treat it as whatever they want it to be? The liberal progressives, because it gets in the way of their long term commie agenda, the same agenda you embrace.

Those master degrees from Leningrad U. aren't worth the armbands they're printed on Jaxomanifesto.

Read "The Wealth of Nations". I believe they're available in Braille. Then send a copy of it along to your Alma Mater, Leningrad U.

QE has done nothing but provide cheap money for institutional investors to borrow and dump into the market.

That money has done nothing to "stimulate" the economic engine of America. It, at best, has been a "feel good" placebo that has propped up a false sense of security.

We have been playing a very dangerous game and the resulting poor performance of our economy, and consequently the world's economy, is self evident.

Nope, interest rates should have been rising in 2010. QE failed, miserably.

Now we have to deal with an inflation just as ObamaCare gets fully implemented.

Posted 520 days ago.

You think interest rates should remain near zero forever?

Who understands the Constitution? Just about every SC decision is 5-4, which mean 5 understand it one way, 4 another. What an ego you'd have to have to think you are the owner of understanding.

By the way, seen your president's equity markets lately?

Seems the fed is not going to print a trillion dollars next year,,,hmmm Interest rates going up and money starting to flow out of equities.

Now comes the come-up-ins to keynesian economics on steroids.

Releasing the info that the IRS did is a felony.

The IRS harassed the applicants in a desperate manner to other groups. (That has been established to everyone's satisfaction).

Donors to specific groups were subsequently audited in a desperate manner.

Forget about the Tea Party. These are American citizens trying to participate just like their progressive counterparts and they were intimidated by a federal agency. (38 of 40 federal tax attorneys are democratic donors).

If you don't think that's a big deal then you just don't understand the constitution or the law and should, thus, listen and learn.

Forget the Tea Party? One of RS posts said he was watching their rally, although if 1000 people were there 2 or 3 had to miss work.

Keep wishing and hoping and praying, maybe something with substance will appear.

OK,,,,

Both White House officials I mentioned have already said that they knew, not a jump.

As I recall, the dems screamed bloody murder about an already outed agent and Libby went to jail. Bush did not pardon him, did he?

Iran contra, people went to jail. You're probably too young to remember those hearings and subsequent court proceedings.

Issa should release everything, context is crucial.

And you should really forget about the Tea Party, it's about ANYONE who is abused by the government.

Again, proving you know not of what you speak!!

Guess who has to appoint a Special Prosecutor now that the independent council statute has expired (or whatever they call it)? Eric Holder. Anyone see that happening? Uh huh. That's called stonewalling Jaxobfuscator. Protecting one's fellow gang-members.

Hey(!), you left one of your marbles Normensa. Just when I thought you'd lost all of them too...I find one laying "right" where you "left" it.

So, I picked it up, and it looked so much like the eye of the tiger, I popped into the nearest CD player. Did I hear Survivor singing that iconic Rocky tune?

Heck no!

It was an audio version of "Stupidity For Dummies".

You sneaky rascal. Come and get it.

Posted 520 days ago.

Yes, by all means, let's make an immediate leap to the White House.

It doesn't sound like much new. I see a release of testimony by Rep. Cummings that has Issa in a hissy fit, how dare he do that to our hero.

Well, we'll see. Just seems like they don't make scandals like they used to. Outing CIA agents, phony yellowcake uranium memos, Iran Contra, now those were scandals you could latch on to. Tea Party Tax exempt status? Not so much.

In short, we now know that this administration couldn't tell the truth even if they knew how to do it.

Posted 520 days ago.

Freeman

Sure, jax.

We now know that a deputy to Lois sat in on every meeting be every employee questioned.

We now know that not only did Lois know about the targeting, she coordinated with the Commish to plant a question so they could come out with the news first.

We now know that direction to target a specific groups came from Washington.

We now know that the chief White House Council knew about the targeting in 2011.

We now know that the White House Chief of Staff was briefed by the a fore mentioned Council.

We now know that the IRS leaked information to the President's re-election co-chair who placed it on the web.

We now know that the OIG AUDIT has now turned into a criminal investigation.

"...council of right wing conservatives who subvert Democracy..."

How can participation in government, having a voice, "subvert democracy"?

Isn't that what democracy is all about?

What books do you actually check out normanlake? That, of course, is a rhetorical question.

Posted 520 days ago.

Just got back from Atlanta. Georgia, that is, not Michigan. What a great area, and obviously recovering from the Bush Debacle. Haven't kept up with the news much.

When last I left I had gone over to the RS and Free side and embraced Daniel Issa as my hero. Since this was such a huge scandal, I suppose by now it has broken wide open, with indictments and resignations imminent, with tons of new information exposed. Maybe someone can give me an update as to recent developments.

Another example of proven ignorance on display by normanlake for all to see.

Good grief, you're priceless.

BTW, ALEC is comprised of elected officials.

What about a congress person's staff? Oh no, they might be conservative or progressive.... They might even be hired because they happen to agree, politically, with the official that hired them. Go figure?

You've conveniently left out similar progressive groups that advise on legislation for the opposition. Why the heck am I surprised at that......??

What the HECK, exactly, is your point?

What does MoveOn.borg subvert? What does MediaMatters.borg subvert? What did the IRS subvert the last few years? How about the EPA? How about the entire federal workers union system...what did they subvert They give taxpayer money to democrats year after year don't they? They take money from conservatives and funnel it to democrats.

Here's another question for you to have someone else ponder for you. Who wrote Obamacare?

Yep, "Stupidity For Dummies"... Normunchmeister: "I couldn't put it down...super-glued it to my hooves, sat back on my ham and slopped it right up."
