Letters To Ed :-)

"We've been duped by the Republicans. Kentucky Sen. and minority leader Mitch McConnell in a news conference one day after the election, stated that the single and sole goal of the GOP over the next two years is: to make Barack Obama a single term president. What an arrogant and obnoxious goal and statement. There agenda before the election was to get votes by promising that there first goals were jobs, the economy and health care reform. It seems their goal is to grab power, not to do things for the people that are in need of jobs and or unemployment pay, health care for those that don't have it, and the people losing their homes. This is the same party that wanted the auto plants and their suppliers to go out of business. We are just coming back from what they did to this country, and now we have them back to do the same things to our country again. What a mess the next two years is going to bring to this country. Talk about partisanship." Carl D. Leow Rogers Cit

Why did Bush invade Iraq and slaughter thousands of women and children? Could it really have been for oil for china?

Southern Iraq, where many of the large oil fields are situated, is the nation’s poorest farming area.

Local residents expected the arrival of major foreign oil companies to translate into large numbers of jobs, lifting them out of poverty.

But that proved not to be the case.

Coupled with disgruntlement stemming from appropriation of land for oil projects, many residents turned violent and mounted riots.

About 100 residents demanding jobs swarmed the office of a subcontractor in West Qurna-2 on the morning of March 4 this year. Many threw stones and trespassed into the office's premises. Sixteen were arrested.

China moved swiftly to bolster its prospects by announcing in 2007 that it would forgive Iraq's debts.

The following year, the state-run China National Petroleum Corp. (CNPC) concluded a no-bid contract on the development of Al-Ahdab oil field. Its target is 120,000 barrels a day.

In the auctions since 2009, CNPC has secured a 37-percent stake in the development of Rumaila oil field in southern Iraq, one of the world’s largest with a targeted output of 2.85 million barrels a day.

Russia’s Lukoil obtained a 75-percent stake in West Qurna-2, whose target is 1.2 million barrels a day.

Along with Inpex Corp. of Japan, it also signed a deal with Iraqi authorities to explore the 5,500-square-kilometer Block 10, winning stakes in two oil fields and two mines.

Iskander Nasyrov, director of Lukoil’s Middle East operations, said that the company is pursuing further stakes.

In contrast, U.S. oil companies face difficulty in maintaining their access to Iraq's rich res

"Three big energy firms paid the most taxes in absolute terms: Exxon $146 billion; Chevron $85 billion; and Conoco-Phillips $58 billion."

No way...the "evil" oil companies huh? Who knew? Those in the know, that's who.

Maybe they killed some Indians or bashed some gays or something?

No?

To our military Men and Women:

Please accept one more salute from the soul of one who had a much easier life. One who has enjoyed freedom and blessings because those like you marched, flew, and sailed straight into peril on his behalf.

Much love, admiration, respect, and awe.

Salute!!!!!!!

The Gay Scouts of America beat the christians and muslims badly. Maybe some day all Americans will have equal rights, imagine that. Women can even go outside with naked hair. Once men start going topless at Starlite beach the women will want the right to vote!

...surrendering not only your own freedoms, but those of your countrymen?

"If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude than the animated contest of freedom, go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen!” (Samuel Adams)

Did Obama have eleventeen UN resolutions to not send help to our people in Benghazi? Did he have any resolutions to lie about it to the entire world? Did he have any to monitor press phone lines and e-mail? How many resolutions did he have to go into Libya? How many to sell them sitnger missiles? How many to have Ambassador Stevens over in Benghazi to try and buy them back so they could divert them to Syria's "rebels".

Was the entire world in agreement on Fast and Furious? How about on Holders contempt of Congress or his most recent bout with lying to Congress just last week?

How many world organizations voted to have the IRS discriminate against conservatives and religious groups? How many groups on the right are funded directly from taxpayer dollars like groups on the left are? Where did Syria get it chemical weapons?

You are now qualified to swallow a camel and get permanently wedged within the eye of a needle, while simultaneously

Sure Hopalong Hippie. What we really need to do is focus on anything, everything...OTHER than the abject corruption of this administration. You know, create some sort of diversion, as you have tried to do here :-)

I think I may have developed a bit of newly formed tooth and eye decay from reading that. At least I haven't been accosted by the brain-decay you've displayed though, thankfully.

Sigh ... I miss the good old days, when scandals were really scandals. Give me Oliver North and Iran Contra, Arms for Hostages any old day. Watergate ... now there was a noble attempt. But both fall short compared to the mess and loss of innocent life we created in Iraq over manufactured and nonexistent weapons of mass destruction. Let's not forget Clinton's Monica fiasco, which served to diminish the great office of the presidency. But Benghazi? This IRS stuff - why should political orgs be tax exempt (this goes for dem orgs as well)? Come on, people. Crawl back down your gopher holes.

By the way, "progressives" having e-coli for breakfast is called cannibalism.

Posted 433 days ago.

rshill7

...though.

I'll ignore your enemy combatant comment, Ok scum? I suspect you had e-coli again for breakfast, after praying to a quadriplicate statue of Trumka, Marx, Engels, and Obama holding hands and molded from slug excrement.

Stay stupid, SAP.

Here ya go punk:

Are there any conservatives in the Justice Dept now? Oh, Presidents get to appoint who they want to appoint. You probably either forgot that, or never knew. Dumbasses tend not to know or understand anything...especially union garbage automotons like yourself.

Benghazi was "done months ago"? Really? It has only just begun. The stonewalling by the actors in this particular scandal isn't "transparent" to you? Of course it isn't. You're blind, yet led by equally blind non-seeing eye-dogs. Rrruff! Clang, trip, oooops, rrrruff!

Sure, the non-evil side has been asking questions and holding hearings, but learning very little amidst the circling of the country killing wagons on your side. Weapon of choice: Obfuscation.

It will not go away until they get some answers. I wonder when that will happen. String it out dunces. Let it culminate and explode right before the midterms. I'm fine with that. The families of the victims would like some answers now th

Looking at today's headlines, nothing in the NY Times, nothing in the washington Post, CNN has a small article on how the GOP wants to bully Lerner of the IRS, other than that, nothing. They don't make scandals like they used to, like when Bush tried to fire everyone in the Justice department and load it up with conservatives.

Posted 433 days ago.

Benghazi was done months ago, only the worst House in the history of America has kept it alive. The analysis of the IRS "scandal" has shown the only scandal is the gOP using 501C's for political purposes in violation of the law. And the investigation of the reporter falls under the Patriot Act, which you wouldn't know anything about as an enemy combatant of America. We've urged you for years to turn off Fox, you'll never, ever know anything unless you do.

Even Huffington Post now calls for Eric Holder to go.

Hardest hit: NormHuff and Jaxington.

Here's the headline "occupying" the main page at Huffandhuffandhuff...Po:

"TIME TO GO: HOLDER OK'D PRESS PROBE"

He should be in jail already for "Fast and Furious".

Said Rear Admiral Dumbass.

The scandals have not even begun. How did you get to be so freakin' stupid?

Posted 434 days ago.

I wouldn' sweat it, the wind is already out of the sails of these "scandals".
