Letters To Ed :-)

"We've been duped by the Republicans. Kentucky Sen. and minority leader Mitch McConnell in a news conference one day after the election, stated that the single and sole goal of the GOP over the next two years is: to make Barack Obama a single term president. What an arrogant and obnoxious goal and statement. There agenda before the election was to get votes by promising that there first goals were jobs, the economy and health care reform. It seems their goal is to grab power, not to do things for the people that are in need of jobs and or unemployment pay, health care for those that don't have it, and the people losing their homes. This is the same party that wanted the auto plants and their suppliers to go out of business. We are just coming back from what they did to this country, and now we have them back to do the same things to our country again. What a mess the next two years is going to bring to this country. Talk about partisanship." Carl D. Leow Rogers Cit

You're a failure at life, love, and business. If I ever need your advice...wait a second, I'll never need your advice. Don't need to discuss my health with a plumber either. You might find benefit in consulting Roto Rooter regarding yours. A conservative psychiatrist might help too. A liberal one would mess you up even more. Grab the liberal one and both of you go see the conservative one. If that doesn't help either of you, try seeking The Great Physician. His name is Jesus.

Nothing elevated the status of women like Christianity did. In Islam women are less than dirt.

Christians started hospitals, schools, and libraries. They started charities and food kitchens. Christians feed more people around the world than any other group. They dig wells in far flung locations so people can have quality water to drink that doesn't kill them. The Christian Abolitionist movement, started in England by William Wilberforce and John Newton, (author of "Amazing Grace") freed the slaves.

The Bible is asking women to respect their husbands. Very consistently too. Anything wrong with that? It also exhorts men to love their wives as themselves. You conveniantly left that out. It teaches that husbands and wives are "one flesh".

I've been married to the same woman, the mother of my children, for 25 years. How about you? She often calls me Sir and I call her Ma'am. That's whatchacall mutual respect, perhaps you've heard of it. It works well.

Jax O' pp. The odds? Is that based on those they've caught and prosecuted? If there's no ID, and no checking on anything, and no cross-referencing with voter registration rolls...uh...how do they find voter fraud?

They don't find it because it is hidden. People don't like to commit felonies in the light. That's why your side wants the lights to remain off.

How do more people than are registered to vote in so many counties end up casting votes? Your side would make the interior of a septic tank at the world's largest Mexican restaurant look like the interior of a qualitative analysis chemical laboratory.

Normarijuana, there was no "basic humanity" before Jesus. When a King died they used to throw every woman in his court in the grave with him, still alive, and bury them along with him. That was common practice. Women were nothing before Jesus. They were nothing again in Islam after Mohammed. They are still nothing under Mohammed.

Sorry RS, the odds of voter fraud is less than the odds of being struck by lightening. But the odd of a Republican trying to stop a minority from voting is even money, because of the outright racist nature of Republicans. If the shoe fits, stick it in your mouth.

Forget it man, you simply DO NOT THINK properly, and your silly little familiarities are juvenile.

The notion that all humans are equal. The bible fantasy writers seem to dislike women. Does YOURS have to walk three steps behind you? The lines I take issue with are just the misogynistic bullshiite propagated by men who pretend to know the 'word of god', when Jesus himself treated women with equality. THAT is contradictory to basic humanity, and you can read it in your King James.

I see some verses listed there Norminiscule. What contradicts what?

You simply want to be able to continue to hide the lion's share of voter fraud which you perpetuate. You're not fooling anyone. You are insulting non-whites though by claiming that an ID would suppress anything. Just claiming something so stupid might suppress one's IQ.

There's no such thing as voter suppression laws. What an idiotic post. If you want to know what voter suppression is, see The New Black Panthers.

Also when democrats vote six times, that's voter suppression. It cancels out legitimate votes. If you vote democrat six times, you cancel the votes of six Republicans or Independents.

You're obviously cool with that though. Lying and cheating is both the profession and hobby of democrats.

Try the truth for a change Jaxopropagandist. Asking for an ID is not voter suppression. It's asking for an ID. One doesn't have to be white to know how to get and show an ID. If you think minorities can't do that simple task, I don't know of anything more racist than that.

That black people and Spanish people can even stomach the democrat party is a mystery. Asian people are smart enough to get and show an ID too.

Why can't your side ever just tell the truth?

Simpletons can read and fail to understand, like yourself for Instance. Just take the parts you refer to and present them as fact, when there is NO scientific evidence of the reality of your belief.

Where to start...genesis 3:16, Corinthians 11:13,1 14:34-36, Ephesians 5:22-24,Colossians 3:18,1Timothy2 11-15 (a particularly bad one),1Peter 3:1, to name a few. Leviticus 21:9, Genesis 38:24,Deuteronomy 25:11-12, Judges 19 24-25. Get the picture? Of course you do not.

"Minorities aren't as stupid or as helpless as your side believes them to be."

Your side thought if they suppressed them it would stop them. They backlashed against the GOP in bigger numbers than ever. Pennsylvania Republicans guaranteed their new voter suppression laws would give Mittens their state, turned out to be one of the sweeter early returns of the short evening.

"Rampant" fraud. Today is the anniversary of the Roswell UFO incident, I'll bet that's where all that "rampant" fraud is hiding.

Nornecromancy...since you can't back up anything else, list one Biblical contradiction. You can't do that either. What can you do? Drool possibly, along with tripe typing.

The only voter suppression I've seen is from your side Jaxopanties. Republicans just want to stop all the rampant fraud.

To allow people to vote with no ID's is stupid, but democrats demand that they be able to cheat. Why? That's the only way they can "win".

It is already easy to vote...for everybody (except possibly overseas military personnel). It's every bit as easy as buying a beer or of pack of smokes.

Minorities aren't as stupid or as helpless as your side believes them to be. Proclaiming them helpless and stupid seems racist to me.

Either you think they're idiots or just want to be able to keep up all that voter fraud. Which is it? Fraud or stupidity? Either is a horrible reflection on democrats.

Posted 479 days ago.

Just because someone doesn't come right out and say, "I am a racist", doesn't mean they are not a racist. Republicans have made efforts from coast to coast to suppress minority voting, and many of those efforts have been seen through by the courts. Republican's worst nightmare is a system where it is easy for minorities to vote. And the Republican efforts have come in the face of very little evidence that there is voter fraud, but massive evidence minorities don't like Republicans.

Strict adherence to the bible is dangerous. Even lousy interpreters of the source can see the subjugation of women, which is an abomination. Jesus NEVER spoke against women and befriended Mary Magdalene, widely estimated as a woman of ill repute. Those who purport to believe in the bible as the 'word of god' often gloss over the many contradictions.

Nice twist Chubby Checker. As usual miss the point and twist what you read. How does it feel? To be the object of hate, that is. White Supremacist groups are REAL, and most of them are oriented with a white Anglo-Saxon bent.

There is no white supremacy anywhere in the Bible. Not in the Old Testament and not in the New Testament.

Senator Robert Byrd (D) from West Virginia was a KKK grand dragon though. His party, the democrat party also started the KKK. One reason was to intimidate blacks into either voting for democrats or not voting at all.

Lincoln was the first Republican President. He also freed the slaves. There has never been anything racist about the Republican party...quite the contrary.

Democrats have always been the party of lies, intimidation, and voter fraud.

Martin Luther King (Republican)

Frederick Douglass (Republican)

Surefoot. He'd much rather swallow lies from the democrats than truth from the Tea Party.

If some KKK members claimed to be Christians I suppose I could claim to be a butterfly. Does that make me a butterfly? Nope.

“”Religion was a major selling point. Baker argues that Klansmen seriously embraced Protestantism as an essential component of their white supremacist, anti-Catholic, and paternalistic formulation of American democracy and national culture. Their cross was a religious symbol, and their ritual honored Bibles and local ministers. However no nationally prominent religious leader said he was a Klan member””

This the same scheme that the GOP is using on the stupid people in the Tea Party.
