Letters To Ed :-)

"We've been duped by the Republicans. Kentucky Sen. and minority leader Mitch McConnell in a news conference one day after the election, stated that the single and sole goal of the GOP over the next two years is: to make Barack Obama a single term president. What an arrogant and obnoxious goal and statement. There agenda before the election was to get votes by promising that there first goals were jobs, the economy and health care reform. It seems their goal is to grab power, not to do things for the people that are in need of jobs and or unemployment pay, health care for those that don't have it, and the people losing their homes. This is the same party that wanted the auto plants and their suppliers to go out of business. We are just coming back from what they did to this country, and now we have them back to do the same things to our country again. What a mess the next two years is going to bring to this country. Talk about partisanship." Carl D. Leow Rogers Cit

Whatever you do, don't go in the woods. I think they killed my dog.

Has anyone been outside lately? Those deerflies are more vicious and persistent than NRA lobbyists.

Sorry commies, this one's for the normal people out there:

Ever feel as if you've slipped through a wormhole into a parallel universe without your knowledge or consent?

Zzzzzzz...Naa, it's just a bad dream...I hear the Star Spangled Banner playing in the background, don't you?

Rrrring, rrrring-a-ding ring! What the heck was that?! Oh right, that intrusive alarm clock o'mine. I'll just phwing it out the window and slumber on...

Thanks for all your contributions by the way. Here, take this marshmallow, drop it in your cocoa, and don't worry about. Just leave it to the next guy or gal, and they'll in turn pass that buck on down the line. Who knows, someone down there might like venison.

Yeah, SHRILL harkens us all back to the days of McCarthy and John Birch. Talk about living in the past. No wonder you can't see the truth if those guys are your role models. Commie ... commie ... commie!

But if you really want Big Brother, wait until the Christian Taliban are running the show.

Orwell was right about the future, if just a little optimistic as to a timeline. Our kneejerk response to 9/11 (Patriot Act) inched us ever closer to our eventual fate. Modern technology, GPS on phones, will allow us to be tracked like unsuspecting rac*****. It's pretty scary when you really think about it. What if someone in the government really has it in for you? All they would have to do is raid your home and take your hard drive and say they found kiddie **** on it. Prison with Bubba (Michelle wouldn't even attempt to reform him).

Commies are so 1950. I'm a little more worried about the likes of the Koch Brothers forcing their will on the American people merely because they have the money to do it, but are able to hide behind 501(c)'s. And the Koch Brothers are looking to buy newspapers to further pollute the brains of the weak minded. Or Art Pope buying the North Carolina Legislature by massively funding 22 candidates. The wealthy are buying up people and legislatures, and the Tea Party is applauding.

The Quinnipiac study shows deep-seated disillusionment with the federal government among American voters:

"Only 3 percent of voters trust the federal government to do the right thing almost all the time, while 12 percent say they trust it most of the time..."

But, but, but, isn't an Orwellian Government a good thing? Who couldn't use a big brother?

Remember, when it comes to your Federal Government, "look for the Union Label"...it's like an opaque plastic bag over your head that gathers about the neck. Just take a deep breath and feel the pride.

This is how it's done folks...how a nation is bullied into becoming a communist state.

How does it feel to have commies at the helm of the USA? Does it feel fine to you fellow commies?

The commies in this paper seem to have zero problem with it. You even seem to applaud it. Perhaps they'll come around when the commies at the helm turn on them too.

Abject fools are what you people are. Voting for the demise of your own country. Blind, sick, suicidal fools. Now choke on it, while the non-commie true Americans seek to correct your country-killing errors.

You bunch of sick f*cks!

Regarding Lois Lerner:

I wonder what color her jumpsuit will be? By the time they get done with her, the color should be red, to match her eyes...and ideology :-)

What a funky, filthy, political whooooooore.

Give a shout out to Holder: AKA Pinnochio.

Ok, I'll do it for. Whuz up Pinocchio!!!

Even former Mayor Daley couldn't hang with this corrupt crowd "led" by Obama.

They might consider renaming Pennsylvania Ave, Chicago Way :-I

P.S. By the way, your post makes no sense. Have you been studying at the feet of 57 again? You'll need an effective gas mask for that, as well as credulity which cannot be strained. Relax though, you're halfway there already :-)

I will say no one eats a corn dog like Michele, but Fact Checkers are wearing black armbands today. Pound for pound one of the biggest liars of all time. And funny, mixing up John Wayne and John Wayne Gacy. An all-timer.

Let's see if I can describe this Holder thing in algebraic-like terms for all you math majors out there:

Holder's signature = X Holder's testimony = not X

Are those two congruent or non-congruent? Solve for X. Here's a hint. The X in line one does not equal the X in line two.

Keep it classy HH. Here's an idea that might help you achieve some success: Write a tell-all book about "the most transparent administration ever". You could include a heavy duty, highly-concentrated bottle of Windex with each copy. Get crackin' ya' little Hippo.

I knew you were just chompin' at the bit for some good reading material. Happy to oblige :-)

Oh, and "Sen. Tim Johnson announced Tuesday that he will not run again next year, giving South Dakota its first open Senate seat since 1978 and adding another challenge to the Democrats’ Senate majority."

Rep. Charles Gonzalez, a seven-term Democrat from Texas, decided to hang it up too.

Joining these democrats are these, who hung it up in 2012: Dan Boren (D-Okla.), Dennis Cardoza (D-Calif.), Jerry Costello (D-Ill.), Barney Frank (D-Mass.), Charlie Gonzalez (D-Texas), Dale Kildee (D-Mich.), John Olver (D-Mass.), Mike Ross (D-Ark.), Lynn Woolsey (D-Calif.). Some of these have left already. All in all, tis a good start.

Perhaps some of these exiting and exited democrats will open up a huge clinic where they can train young children to the wonderful virtues of being "gay". They can demostrate sodomy and other democrat virtues such as that. The Public School system across the fruity plain might not appreciate the direct competition though.

"The Democrats’ chance of winning the Minnesota seat might now be on the order of 5 to 10 percent, versus perhaps 40 percent with Mrs. Bachmann on the ballot." (NY Times)

The left delights in nothing more than denigrating good people. Her district will be even more securely in Republican hands. The left can then start all over with the caricature game, aimed at her Republican successor. That kind of thing takes time and much repetition. Just ask the ghost of Alinsky. he wrote a book about it called "Rules For Radicals" and dedicated it to "Lucifer", aka Satan.

I like that Max Baucus (Mr. Obamacare, who now calls it a trainwreck), Carl Levin, and Sen. Jeff Bingaman are leaving. That's celbratory material right there for sure.

Bingaman joined Sen. Jim Webb of Virginia, Sen. Kent Conrad of North Dakota, and Sen. Joe Lieberman. The numerous retirements give the GOP a great opportunity to win back the Senate.
