Letters To Ed :-)

"We've been duped by the Republicans. Kentucky Sen. and minority leader Mitch McConnell in a news conference one day after the election, stated that the single and sole goal of the GOP over the next two years is: to make Barack Obama a single term president. What an arrogant and obnoxious goal and statement. There agenda before the election was to get votes by promising that there first goals were jobs, the economy and health care reform. It seems their goal is to grab power, not to do things for the people that are in need of jobs and or unemployment pay, health care for those that don't have it, and the people losing their homes. This is the same party that wanted the auto plants and their suppliers to go out of business. We are just coming back from what they did to this country, and now we have them back to do the same things to our country again. What a mess the next two years is going to bring to this country. Talk about partisanship." Carl D. Leow Rogers Cit

The bill was not read and is still not understood in it's entirety. Where have you been since 2010?

Jax, statements like that just go to prove the point that you are a "Kool-Aid" drinker.

The bill was read. No one dreamed Republican governors would dump on the poor this badly simply to spite Obama.

Yes amos, you cannot be a Republican without being a hypocrite. Even as they bash Obamacare they are writing laws to tweak it.

freem..We see your Huckabee family values are a married republican congressman making out with a married women employee. Family swapping is not a value. You need a new party.

freem..Jim Demint, head of the Heritage foundation says the federal government had nothing to do with the end of slavery. He gave credit to his god Thingy instead. I guess the Civil War and the Emancipation Proclaimation didn't exist. You should care freeman, these are the people you support.

Now that the gospels say Jesus was married the republicans have to stop slapping women down.

I would not be against the expansion if I thought it would solve the problem.

Sorry.

I would not be against the problem if I thought it would solve the problem. It certainly helps but I don't believe there are enough doctors who will accept Medicaid patients.

To be fair, there is not enough data to support either argument right now.

So a $2 Trillion program, designed to cover as many people as possible, ultimately leaves 31 million uninsured.

You think SOMEBODY should have read it before passing it? Wouldn't that have been a good idea?

2000 page bill? Nope, the dems had to pass the dang Senate bill, (not the one in conference), on Christmas Eve.

It was stupid, just stupid.

Real world? Medicaid patients can't find doctors who'll accept them so, they go to the ER.

You just don't do your homework do your jax?

Posted 113 days ago.

As usual with your disconnect from the Real World, the point was to get as many people insured, but no one dreamed the GOP would block the Medicaid expansion like they did. Doesn't it make sense to have people have primary care doctors and get preventative care such as blood pressure and prenatal care than to use an emergency room as a primary care? Of course it does to us in The Real World. To those in libertarian land, it is every man for himself.

Free, your only support was The Toxic Avenger RS, and he's gone. Both of you live in bubbles, maybe you never see people in need, I don't know.

I don't care who's idea it was. It's not working amos57usa.

On a state by state basis, if the people of the state wish it, I'm all for it.

freem..Ask Heritage, they created it.

The ACA will leave a conservative 31 million Americans without health insurance.

WHAT WAS THE POINT???

Posted 118 days ago.

Freeman

Please enlighten us on how "free money" will flow from Washington D.C.

Where, exactly, do you think the Medicaid expansion funds come from? Mars?

Real world? I don't need a lecture on the "real world" form a snot nosed mental midget.

My previous policy was canceled and the new one reflects much higher out of pocket costs to me.

My health insurance no longer exists. My Priority Health policy premium went up about 25%, highest since I've had the policy. My family deductible went from $2500 to $5000 per year.

"..act-Free the Whiner wants Lerner to kowtow to his lonely old white men's club,.."

I won't even comment on that kind of IDIOCY.

No, jaxspp, you said "Anything the GOP wants, as I stated, is usually toxic or puts workers in danger..." and cited the GOP bill in question. All I said was that 25 democrats supported it. Blame yourself for using such a pitiful example to make a point not me.
