Letters To Ed :-)

"We've been duped by the Republicans. Kentucky Sen. and minority leader Mitch McConnell in a news conference one day after the election, stated that the single and sole goal of the GOP over the next two years is: to make Barack Obama a single term president. What an arrogant and obnoxious goal and statement. There agenda before the election was to get votes by promising that there first goals were jobs, the economy and health care reform. It seems their goal is to grab power, not to do things for the people that are in need of jobs and or unemployment pay, health care for those that don't have it, and the people losing their homes. This is the same party that wanted the auto plants and their suppliers to go out of business. We are just coming back from what they did to this country, and now we have them back to do the same things to our country again. What a mess the next two years is going to bring to this country. Talk about partisanship." Carl D. Leow Rogers Cit

Several typos in that triple-post. Just be consistent and blame Bush :-)

In New York the average spending per student for education, rather, indoctrination, is $18,126 per year. Does that equate to nothing to you? Good golly you're an indoctrinated fool yourself. But you and we already know that. Will throwing more money at teacher unions help anything? Of course not. It will make things worse. I guess a parasite sympathizes with a parasite. Right parasite?

Right.

Republicans wanted common sense reforms rather than mega-ntrusive government control. Allowing insurance companies to do business across state lines for starters. Do you see any government control in that? I don't. I see government getting out of the way in that. That's what we are for. Government getting out of the way, and out of the business of micro-managing everything.

Conservative: Government remaining within it's Constitutionally designed box.

Progressive: Communist. All hail the collective and the specially chosen, to h-e-l-l with the individual and the individually owned business.

Normoron, killing a baby is not a health decision. It's a death decision. Once again, you're not an unborn baby, so don't worry about it till they start killing stupid old "men" wqith dents in their heads, OK tax evader? Capital Gains is Capital Gains.

Selling comic books for a profit generates capital gains, and applicable taxes called capital gains taxes.

Jaxlax, Obama doubled the debt all by himself. Obamacare will make it even worse. Bush didn't do that. Bush didin't committ massive voter fraud either. Your side wanted the Supreme Court to aid and abet voter fraud. They didn't. Good for them.

I don't ever remember hearing Republicans say "Let's do nothing". You should have your head examined, shrunk, or, you could just stop lying every time you type something here. We all know you have an intractable brain disease called Progressive Communism.

I did hear the Democrats demand that Republicans do nothing though, even thought hey wanted to do something. They didn't allow them into the debate. They were locked out. Lefties can neither stand nor handle, hearing dissenting views. They want one-speach and one-speach only, theirs. Just ask the local Commie known as JohnMa. Just ask college students, and gay rights groups. Heck, ask any democrat under the sun.

Republicans Favor minimum wage, the smaller minimum wage the better. They endorse educational opportunity for all--but they won't spend money for teachers or for schools...They think American standard of living is a fine thing...so long as it doesn't spread to ALL the people. And they admire of government of the United States so much that they would like to buy it.---President Harry S. Truman. True then, and true today as well.

I am free to sell my comic books. I sell them in a LEGAL fashion. So stop your lies.

Sorry about the national debt. We had things on track until the Supreme Court selected Bush to be president. After that it was back to trickle down and soaring deficits.

As far as health care, Americans were whining as costs go up 10-15% a year. Premiums soared, deductibles soared, costs soared. One party said lets try something. That's why they are called Progressives. One party said let's do nothing. That's why they are called conservatives.

Meanwhile America slips further and further behind other nations in life expectancy, infant mortality rates, and a number of other areas. But, "Let's Do Nothing! Let's Do Nothing!". The GOP mantra.

NEW WORD of the day...Gy no ti cian n: A politician who feels more qualified than women and their doctors to make women's health care decisions. Guess what segment of politicians are gynoticians...

Individualism: Yes

Collectivism: No

And according to the CBO, at no time during the next twenty years will there ever be less than 30 million people who are still not "covered".

It's a power grab, a behavior grab, lots of new fines and taxes, and non-doctors deciding what people can or should have done. There will also be a shortage of doctors as many opt out and quit before this train actually wrecks.

It's a mammoth piece of crap and the democrats are going to pay dearly for shoving it down our throats. Unions simply marched in blind goosestep helping to get it passed. Now they want out...permanent waivers etc. Further evidence of how stupid, gullible, and incestuous they are with the democrat party.

You don't get my objection to Obamacare? Not surprised. There isn't much you do get.

I like freedom. I don't like being told what to do. That's one reason I am my own boss. I am already forced to pay an awful lot in taxes. That's a lot of money my family could use. Now they want to force me to buy something I don't want? Then they want government bureaucrats telling my doctors what I can and can't have done?

Then they want the people who are struggling the most, who actually work for a living to have their hours cut from 40 to 28? I have kids that fall into that category.

NO! That no is for me, and that no is for them.

What has kicked in Medicare rationing, and worker hour cutting! My parents are hurt and my children are hurt. When it fully kicks in, I'll be hurt too.

Name one person who is now covered that wasn't before.

It hasn't even kicked in yet. The exchanges aren't even opened. They are supposed to open in 2014. By November of 2014, people will really be screaming against it, even more than they are now. The majority of people are already against it, and Obama lied his way all the way through getting it "passed" with zero Republican votes. Every word he said about it was a lie. Every single word.

A growing number of Unions are also against it, including the IRS Union. Last month we had 20-some thousand full time jobs "created" and about 90,000 part time jobs created.

There will be million of workers having to have two part time jobs. 28 hrs + 28 hrs = 56 hours per week. Yay! More money for them. Less time raising and spending time with their own children.

Eat crow, instead of crowing with no substance. A growing number of States are reporting LOWER than expected health care premiums due to 'ObamaCare, including Willard Romney's state, Massachusetts. New York, Oregon, Louisiana, Montana and California. 18% less than past projections. I do not 'get' your objection to the Affordable Health Care Act, since so many folks are now covered that were not previously. America is for ALL the people, not just the type people YOU associate yourself with, wannabe.

The economy IS tanking, but food stamps are booming.

The article didn't say. The point was the $20 million dollar investment when everyone knows the economy is tanking.
