Letters To Ed :-)

"We've been duped by the Republicans. Kentucky Sen. and minority leader Mitch McConnell in a news conference one day after the election, stated that the single and sole goal of the GOP over the next two years is: to make Barack Obama a single term president. What an arrogant and obnoxious goal and statement. There agenda before the election was to get votes by promising that there first goals were jobs, the economy and health care reform. It seems their goal is to grab power, not to do things for the people that are in need of jobs and or unemployment pay, health care for those that don't have it, and the people losing their homes. This is the same party that wanted the auto plants and their suppliers to go out of business. We are just coming back from what they did to this country, and now we have them back to do the same things to our country again. What a mess the next two years is going to bring to this country. Talk about partisanship." Carl D. Leow Rogers Cit

So, you haven't been ridiculous enough before now? You needed to ratchet up the foolish stupidity and idiotic proclamations?

That was one of the dumbest things I've ever read.

Republican Utopia: Abolish minimum wage, pay workers $1.00 an hour.

Posted 481 days ago.

It was pretty much more of the same. You know, rebuilding America's infrastructure. But we know from past discussions Republicans are not builders, they are destroyers. Something has to fall down to get their attention. Bridges, roads and sewers are evil things that liberals want to waste money on, when the money is better spent on Swiss bank accounts and Cayman tax shelters.

Maybe you can explain Obama's jobs plan?

...thousands of miles of U.S. coastline. I think the GOP would be far better off actually governing like Ronaldus Magnus than simply naming oceans after him.

JOBS, jobs jobs? No, the GOP, under the guidance of that great politician Darryl Issa, are spending their time naming bodies of water after Ronald Reagan, including 3.4 million square miles of Ocean and

"SEIU Goon: If We Don’t Raise Minimum Wage Fast Food Workers Will Contaminate Your Food."

"Extortion...a union favorite."

See what I mean?

Ya reckon McDonald's employees organized that multi-state walk-out or do you think SEIU did, as class warfare, community agitators?

If you guessed SEIU class warfare, community agitators, you are right. There's a first time for eveything.

I almost forgot. You want fries with that?

Please tell us about Obama's "jobs plan" now. You forgot. What is it? What does it entail? Is it really a jobs plan? Yesterday he said the Keystone Pipeline would create "50 permanent jobs". Last week he said it would create 2,000 jobs. His own State Department found it would create at least 20,000 jobs, with lots of other spin-off jobs as a result of those 20,000. In other words, more like 40,000 jobs.

He is nothing but a sickening, consistent liar, who also happens to be a die-hard communist.

Please tell us about his (Obama's) "jobs plan".

Then try to figure out what an entry level job is. Why, at $15.00 per hour, they could fire every kid they've got and hire smarter, higher quality people who can actually read.

Teens shouldn't work anyway, they should ride around in their parent's pouches for decades. Learning what it's like to work and pay taxes is just dumb. So is moving up to management, district management, regional management, and corporate headquarters.

Can you imagine a McDonalds where the folks that make your food can't get fired? Oh, that would be a real treat wouldn't it?

Has Morelix ever run a business in his entire life? I didn't think so. Have you? No. Would you like to have your much needed brain surgery performed by a bricklayer? It might lend some strength and solidity to your ideology. Ask a friend to think about it for you.

If McDonald's were unionized, they would never sell another franchise again.

Why America needs Unions:

"If McDonalds were to double the salaries and benefits of all of its employees, from the CEO down to the minimum wage cashiers, it would still only cost an extra 68 cents for a Big Mac, according to a new report by the University of Kansas.

"As fast food workers across the country are going on strike to demand a livable wage, University of Kansas research assistant Arnobio Morelix tells the Huffington Post that it would cost the average consumer mere cents to give them just that.

Currently, a minimum wage McDonalds employee makes $7.25 per hour. The CEO makes $8.75 million. But if the former were raised to $15 and the latter to $17.5 million, the dollar menu would only have to become the $1.17 menu and the Big Mac would go from $3.99 to $4.67, Morelix found.

If the CEO’s pay remained the same but low-wage workers earned more, the price difference for customers would be negligible. "

You've got the House and Senate confused with one another. It's the Senate that's been holding up all the jobs plans. The only jobs plan Obama has ever had is how to make as many jobs as possible either disappear, go overseas, or morph from full time jobs to part time jobs.

Obama's goal seems to be how many millions more people he can reduce to welfare, bogus disability, or food stamps.

I guess in a round about way it provides more Gov, jobs.

Please tell us about his "jobs plan".

Sorry I'll try to use Mother Jones, MSNBC, HuffPo, Jay Carney, or Obama himself just for you.

The only problem with that though is they are one-sided liars. Propagandists with a solid history of lying.

What I posted is simply an established fact. We all know how repelled you are by established facts.

Go look at the election results yourself. Then you can lie about them yourself.

How is "Moon" doing? I don't know. Hold a séance and ask him.

Posted 482 days ago.

The Washington Times. Got it. How is Reverend Moon doing these days, anyway?

But enough about your sources. I lament that Obama is proposing another jobs plan today, because everyone knows the GOP House has no interest in anything that will help America, or at least America below the top 1%. But still one can try, although the GOP House is where ideas go to die. Only gerrymandering has saved the GOP.

4 out of 5 adults in need of assistance is good for America? Consider your posts punched in the gut.

Mounting debt as far as the Hubble Telescope can see is good for America? Public and private Unions run amuck is good for America?

You have a very strange and skewed view of the word "good".

Here's what you really mean: A party that is 100% fail, 100% corrupt, and tells lies 100% of the time is good for the opposition. That opposition would be Republicans and Libertarians.

"According to the logic of politics, Leticia Perez should have handily won the heavily Democratic and Hispanic district in California’s central valley, and her failure to do so has Republicans eager to develop a victory template for struggling GOP candidates elsewhere in the deep-blue state and across the country. Fresno cherry farmer and cattle rancher Andy Vidak, who is fluent in Spanish, said he captured the state Senate seat in last week’s closely watched runoff vote by connecting with Hispanic voters with a “common-sense” approach that focused on job creation, affordable energy and opposition to big government." (Washington Times)

He won the Hispanic vote there too :-)

People are starting to understand where democrats want to take us, and they ain't gonna go along for the ride.

Florida's individual healthcare policies will skyrocket under Obamacare according to that state's Insurance Commissioner.

Less people working today than in 2008 is good for America?

Good news for America is bad news for Republicans.
