Letters To Ed :-)

"We've been duped by the Republicans. Kentucky Sen. and minority leader Mitch McConnell in a news conference one day after the election, stated that the single and sole goal of the GOP over the next two years is: to make Barack Obama a single term president. What an arrogant and obnoxious goal and statement. There agenda before the election was to get votes by promising that there first goals were jobs, the economy and health care reform. It seems their goal is to grab power, not to do things for the people that are in need of jobs and or unemployment pay, health care for those that don't have it, and the people losing their homes. This is the same party that wanted the auto plants and their suppliers to go out of business. We are just coming back from what they did to this country, and now we have them back to do the same things to our country again. What a mess the next two years is going to bring to this country. Talk about partisanship." Carl D. Leow Rogers Cit

The article didn't say. The point was the $20 million dollar investment when everyone knows the economy is tanking.

Since "It takes a village" to raise kids, rather than a Mommy and a Daddy, it's no wonder we have so many "village" idiots in this country.

Of the 550 employees you've mentioned, can you tell us how many are full time and how many are part time? The way you said it seems misleading.

Just imagine the millions of dollars in food stamps they'll be taking in! They might be able to exchange those little stampies for real money.

Food Stamp folk will be buying lobster, orange roughy, prime rib, and all the best cuts of steak. Cha-ching!

They might have to "beef" up security though. I think there's a decided lack of Daddy's in those areas. Daddy's tend to help raise kids rather than letting the hood raise hoodlums.

Yes Jaxylophone, they might be smarter than you. I'll flip a coin. Meijer can be heads and you can be tails.

Wag on.

The Meijer's are probably a lot smarter than me. They just opened a supercenter at 8 Mile and Woodward employing 550 full and part-time people. And they are planning another one in Detroit. I guess they didn't hear investment right now is bad, we should go tell them.

"NSA's New Spy Facility is 7 Times Bigger Than Pentagon, and 15 times the size of the MetLife Stadium."

I've got two names for it. Big Brother, and The Beast.

Gotta monitor my computers Jaxie, and this paper is just a click away. I have an opinion and like expressing it.

You've heard it said that folks should not talk about religion or politics. Here's the thing. If we never discussed religion or politics, it wouldn't be very long before we lost the choice to discuss either.

Government is like The Blob. It's oozing into everything. Everything.

We gross a lot more than that in a year. Profit is a horse of a different color though, but we get by. All that money we pay for products, shipping, advertising etc. really adds up.

One huge expense each year is the law forcing me to pay into Government Ponzi schemes via income taxes and property taxes.

Healthcare taxes and fines are right around the corner too, and millions more people will become part-timers as a result. More than twice as many part time jobs were added last month than full-time jobs. And for every person that gets a job, 1.5 persons become new food stamp recipients.

Yeah buddy, this economy is firing on all cylinders. Would that it could fire Obama without an act of Congress. You know, give him a pink slip. He'd look great in it.

Jaxie'd look great in jackboots and an acorn helmet.

Good, you make a thousand dollars a day, which equals a $365,000 a year. Yet you grace us every day with your presence. How lucky we are.

I'm glad I paid my taxes rather than avoiding them as you did. You only want others to pay their taxes. You don't pay any. I'm not a lying cheater like you are. The lying cheating trophy goes to you. Keep it in your colon.

I know Normoninnie. You've a doctorate in comic book. Not sure if that's the main reason you're such a loser or not. Read some Marx. You'll love it. Then read some Alinsky, you'll love that too.

By the way, GM did go under. They went through bankruptcy procededings. Is Obama's bankruptcy better than Romney's bankruptcy? Romney's bankruptcy would've much more fair to many more people. Some airlines and other companies have filed for bankruptcy more than once.

Detroit is filing for bankruptcy too, and Obama is racing towards the USA having to do the same. Why? The foodstamp President, aka President Downgrade.

If you have any kids and grandkids, it will be Conservatives or Libertarians who keep their lives from being full of misery. If democrats somehow stay in charge, they will be it's slaves.

Pat the tax shrill. My comics were a better bet on the market, and I knew nothing about the market as a youth, only the value of reading. So crow as you always will, but anybody can pretend as you do from anonymity.

Jax, none of the wrongness this clod spews should surprise us. We would be hard pressed to even think of an issue he was right on, from the Romney landslide and beyond. Now, his GOP friends are reneging in their commitment to protecting the Great Lakes, where his boaty resides. You would think that would arouse his (false) righteous indignation, but nary a word. Talk about sheep.

The mountains of NC has dumpsters too.

The only reason I'd ever go into a dumpster is if you invited me over for tea. I'd show up just to turn you down in person.

I made a few more thousand today with my own business, and there's still 8 more hours left in the "day". My business is open 24/7.

Did you make $100.00 or so today? $200.00? Good for you :-)

When the stock market tanked, I bought Sirius XM (SIRI) for 6 cents per share. Then I bought some more at 12 cents per share, approximately 50,000 shares total. I pulled out of the market when Obama was re-elected, last year, paid a hunk of capital gains taxes and moved into conservative investments to preserve the principal and make modest gains. Don't trust the markets with an unchained commie in charge. Never will.

GM's stockholders lost it all, so did it's bondholders. The commie in chief rewarded the unions with billions in free money and company ownership.

If the market loses 9000 points before Obama is replaced, or if it doesn't, I'll continue to be much, much, more intelligent, wise, and continue to possess much more business savvy than thou. Your business savvy = zero.

If the bottom falls out of the market right before you retire, that'd be great wouldn't it? You could become the dumpster diver, rather than just it's semi-permanent occupant.

Consumers Reports just named Chevy Impala a best buy. Thank you for your brand of Socialism, President Obama, because with Mitt Romney and his fellow cult followers like RS GM would have gone under, and taken the entire US Auto industry with it.

Advice.

Posted 369 days ago.

Says the fool who missed a 7,000 point rise in the stock market. Thanks for the economic advise. The Obama stock market was a better investment than you looking through dumpsters for deposit bottles.

WaPo Poll: Americans Favor Banning Abortions After 20 Weeks By Massive 29-Point Margin, 56%-27%.

I guess all of "Wendy's" feces totin' fans don't amount to much. And how did killing tens of millions of babies get such a bad rap anyway? According to the democrat party it's perfectly acceptable.
