Letters To Ed :-)

"We've been duped by the Republicans. Kentucky Sen. and minority leader Mitch McConnell in a news conference one day after the election, stated that the single and sole goal of the GOP over the next two years is: to make Barack Obama a single term president. What an arrogant and obnoxious goal and statement. There agenda before the election was to get votes by promising that there first goals were jobs, the economy and health care reform. It seems their goal is to grab power, not to do things for the people that are in need of jobs and or unemployment pay, health care for those that don't have it, and the people losing their homes. This is the same party that wanted the auto plants and their suppliers to go out of business. We are just coming back from what they did to this country, and now we have them back to do the same things to our country again. What a mess the next two years is going to bring to this country. Talk about partisanship." Carl D. Leow Rogers Cit

I don't think anything would be better served by Detroit! Detroit is like a business hospice, where business goes to die. GM would rather be anywhere than Detroit. I wouldn't live there for a free hundred thou per year. Would you?

"Exports of GM of Brazil in 2005 represented new record, reaching a value of US$ 1.6 billion, for the shipment of 114,994 units in "CKD" and 125,678 vehicles ready for some 40 countries around the world. The main market in the area of exports was Mexico, followed by Argentina, Venezuela, South Africa and other Latin American countries."

Now what is the main market for the Brazil plant? But RS thinks these markets would be better served by Detroit.

Logic. Common sense.

If you were building an automobile plant in America in 2013, would you build it in the middle of the country to shorten your logistics to both coasts, or would you build it in Michigan, which is pretty much a logistical nightmare to ship west?

Logic. Common sense.

"General Motors has announced plans to spend $600 million to upgrade and expand its Fairfax, Kansas plant, which produces the Chevrolet Malibu and Buick LaCrosse."

"It also has announced it will hire 1,450 workers at a plant in Brazil that is adding a third production line."

Does Kansas have any place like Detroit? Is Detroit in Kansas? How about Brazil? No and no.

Kansas is a "right to work" state.

We don't need to wait for Jaxocolon's predictions or ideas. They'll be precisely what Obastard and his democrat minion's are. That's what a sycophant is and does.

He's nothing but a democrat/progressive yes-boy with no mind of his own. A slobbering leg-hugger with thrills running up and down his own. A lapdog drooling for his next head pat and directive.

Duh, what do I do now master? I'll both repeat and believe whatever lie you demand of me.

You are not a man.

Why do you demand to be told what to do at every turn? Have you nothing in your head other than Marxists ideology? No.

Stop trying to force that genocidal ideology down everyone's throats.

Many of the airlines we now currently fly went under too, several times. It's called bankruptcy. Look it up.

People who have immigrated here from communist countries are warning us that we are progressing down the same path their former countries went down. 100 million dead folk were left in their wake.

Stop "progressing", we have more than enough regulations now. Let's roll back a few of them. We do not need government demanding that our sinks be a specific height above the floor, our lightbulbs be of a certain kind, and exactly how much water our toilets are allowed to use. On farms, we don't need to be told exactly what the rooms of employees should contain and look like, or what specific kind of bed they must have.

The first thing the Soviet Union did in 1917 was nationalize the healthcare system. You want to trod that same path. I don't. It leads to he*ll.

People have minds of their own and do not need government controlling every aspect of that mind.

For now we will file RS' WW III prediction with his Romney landslide prediction, and await the next prediction from his Magic 8 ball.

Posted 471 days ago.

GM went under? Really, I was just looking at their vehicles last week, that was quick. Wonder what that giant plant is at I75 and I69? Looks like a giant GM plant, must be a mirage.

GM did go under. Detroit has been a h*llhole for years. Under conservative leadership it would have never even come close to what it is now. It'd be more like Oklahoma City or Austin.

"I will bet you any amount of money you wish we will not get into WWIII." (Jokesolantern)

The words of a sycophant for sure. Implicit trust based on nothin'.

Posted 471 days ago.

And as bad as Detroit is, picture it under Romney and RS allowing the American auto industry to go completely under. RS World, like Disney World except you die.

Yep, sycophantic devotion to stupidity. You can't see anything from your colon condo other than a collection of polyps, one of which, is you.

I'll bet your boss is eagerly anticipating the next 100,000 pages of regulations.

Mao had his little red book that people had to study and memorize. We have reams and reams and reams of regulations. Couldn't they condense it down to a little red book and put a morphed together picture of Obastard and Murdering-Mao on it's cover?

Posted 471 days ago.

"People from other countries flocked here for a chance at that American dream."

Still are. Can't see them from your living room, though.

Posted 471 days ago.

Without people like me, norman, sure and amos can you even imagine how toxic the RS world without regulations would be? Look at Beijing China if you want a clue. Air so foul it is unbreathable, dump whatever you want into lakes and streams, mine wherever you want. Put whatever food products you want on the market without concern about e-coli. Your product is dangerous? No regulations, no problems. Treat people however you want. Handicapped, old, can no longer do your job as well as a younger person? You're fired. That is the RS world he longs for.

Posted 471 days ago.

And in conclusion, I will bet you any amount of money you wish we will not get into WWIII. But hyperbole is another one of your charms.

Posted 471 days ago.

And if you think WWII wasn't necessary, you are dumber than I thought, which at one point seemed virtually impossible. Tell us in your convoluted wisdom how you would have avoided WWII.

Posted 471 days ago.

RS, don't even bother. I've explained to you a dozen times about the surpluses we were running until your "Cut to Grow" ilk scuttled them, how a correct tax policy created 23 million jobs and full employment, it will never sink into your pea brain.

A progression into government slavery. I want freedom and opportunity. I'd like it to be at least as easy for my children to become successful as it was for me, not two or three times more difficult under the weight of ten times more debt.

Jaxofoolfodder thinks we can borrow ourselves into prosperity. Were he true to that idiotic theory he'd be by comparison at least 20 million in debt himself wouldn't he? He runs his life completely different than he would have government run ours.

If you both would try to look to the termination of that road you progress down, you might be able to recognize the destination. This is the wrong road. It does not lead to Utopia, Arcadia or anything similar. It leads to death and destruction.

Why the sycophantic devotion to stupidity?
