Letters To Ed :-)

"We've been duped by the Republicans. Kentucky Sen. and minority leader Mitch McConnell in a news conference one day after the election, stated that the single and sole goal of the GOP over the next two years is: to make Barack Obama a single term president. What an arrogant and obnoxious goal and statement. There agenda before the election was to get votes by promising that there first goals were jobs, the economy and health care reform. It seems their goal is to grab power, not to do things for the people that are in need of jobs and or unemployment pay, health care for those that don't have it, and the people losing their homes. This is the same party that wanted the auto plants and their suppliers to go out of business. We are just coming back from what they did to this country, and now we have them back to do the same things to our country again. What a mess the next two years is going to bring to this country. Talk about partisanship." Carl D. Leow Rogers Cit

'Conservative' groups are spending hundreds of millions of dollars in the spreading of false information about the Affordable Care Act. That alone tells me the GOP Tea Party is beholden to special interests and could care less about the people they are supposed to represent. Your GOP.

Oh, and when approximately zero young people sign up for Fedzilla's health plan, ignore the creams from those whose premiums double and triple. The blood-curdling screech from the Horrid Hippy will be the loudest.

Normalignant won't care, there's never any skin off his nose. Him a ward of the Government. An blissful inmate. A taker.

It isn't the country I'm betting against hippie freak. It's the commie animals in charge. You go ahead and trust them. I will not.

Wait till people start paying fines and have their identities stolen by Obuttheadcare's handlers, explainers, and facilitators, who were hired without background checks. Your identity will probably be fine though, cuz who the heck would want to even pretend to be you?

Just place all of your trust, hopes, and dreams in unlimited government control. Yeah, dat's a good comrade.

Miss Bliss: When the real "correction" comes, I'm sure you'll be as pleased as a recently hazed, punch drunk, sorority inductee, when the Dow hits 3,000.

Normaryjane, just ignore the O'biliouscare screams from Unions, business owners, newly reduced part-timers, government workers, spouses recently tossed from coverage, and the 30 million people who will still not have coverage 20 years from now. Ignore the trillions in added liabilities too, as well the 20,000 pages of new HHS regulations.

Ignore the new Obastardcare police too...and once it kicks in, ignore the rationing. You can get that by-pass you need in eight or nine months, unless they turn you down completely. You're old, useless, and expendable, and that review board has a job to do. The individual will of course be subordinate to the collective.

Ignore all of the delays and the special exemptions. Screams? You haven't heard anything yet.

I learned long ago that betting against this great country is a losing proposition. You Shrillish, negative traitors make me sick.

You have to be encouraged by what is happening locally in Alpena. New construction, possible boon with this drone project. I am even encouraged that interest rates are starting to go back up after being held artificially down for years. We are almost out of the woods. Go ahead and be all doom and gloom if you want, SHRILL. I have been investing money patiently for years and it has paid off.

"And hasn't the stock market had 6 straight days of significant declines?" Significant (no way, not even close to a technical correction. Big deal. I relish these drops. I have used every one since 2010 to buy more stock.

Conservatives are comical with their misinformation campaign against the Affordable Care Act, when the only solution to health care they have to offer is "the Emergency Room". It would be funny comical if it was not so absurd comical. Clowns.

Less freedom, less privacy, less income, less opportunity, less work hours, less energy independence, less employment, less bang in each buck.

Oh that's progress, "flaming lib commie' style. Once everyone is as poor as Normarxman. Once everyone has had every bit of wisdom stripped away from them, once everyone works for the government, once there is no longer any "evil" private sector, once everything is rationed, including food, energy and healthcare, we will have progressed to that mystical abode called H-e-l-l which the left desires. Oh, but they are the "smart" ones. No wonder everything they do smarts.

It would involve rediscovering what made us great to begin with, and repeating those successes, rather than killing them.

You go ahead and progress you and yours right into slavery you stupid, idiotic, non-thinking, brain-bereft, buffoon. It must be physically painful to be so*****dumb. You truly are the most illogical, unilluminated, ignorant, idgit on the isthmus of imbeciles, indeed, the planet.

Normindcontrolled, is it progress when every economic measure is going backwards. median income is down 4.4% since Obastard took office. Less people have jobs today than when he took office. He has destroyed the 40 hr work week, has set race relations back 50 years, and his Arab Spring has become a global nightmare.

Is that what you call progress? If you were teetering on the edge of a perilous precipice would you progress right off the edge to your death or take a different tack?

"Duh, I'd walk right out into thin air, like the crazed coyote I be. Ever forward increasingly murkier bogs, snares, and ruinous decay. Forward on to the very death, of not just me, but you too."

Progress to the Dims seems to be to make everything much, much worse. Sorry, that doesn't sound like progress to me. Progress to me would be full employment, lower taxes, more freedom, and less authoritarian dictates on every aspect of my life.

ObamaCare works! Fashioned after RomneyCare, and now being quietly asked for by such great GOP thought mongers as Rick Perry, who now, hat in hand after all his bluster (OOPS!) is seeking benefits he is against. YOUR GOP.

BEHIND is not ahead, that would indicate progress. As an avowed conservative, progress is not in your vocabulary. Behind you is your posterior, from which we get ****e, which you then attempt to pass off as original thought. And, Nobo, do you realize how ignorant your "Mexican proof fence" is? The fence you mention only slows down the people who pick our fruit by THREE and ONE HALF minutes!Flaming lib commies do not exist, but flaming social engineers do.

Ahead of the times Normeanderer.

I heard from some folks in attendance at the earlier breakfast, which was by special invite. Dan would not commit to defunding the Leviathan health monster.

Many of these people go to Washington to represent us to DC, then they come back representing DC to us. From what I can tell, Dan has voted whichever way Boehner told him to vote. He went from being a Tea Party candidate to a Boehner puppet.

One of the main reasons he was elected in the first place was because he is a Dr. and we wanted the healthcare act killed. He needs to be primaried. He is not a leader. He is a follower.

If he gets one more term he gets those tasty lifetime benefits. The Republican establishment paid off his campaign debts and will help him win again so he can once more be an establishment lapdog.

Send him to the pound.

I was also impressed with his efforts to bring jobs to district 1
