Letters To Ed :-)

"We've been duped by the Republicans. Kentucky Sen. and minority leader Mitch McConnell in a news conference one day after the election, stated that the single and sole goal of the GOP over the next two years is: to make Barack Obama a single term president. What an arrogant and obnoxious goal and statement. There agenda before the election was to get votes by promising that there first goals were jobs, the economy and health care reform. It seems their goal is to grab power, not to do things for the people that are in need of jobs and or unemployment pay, health care for those that don't have it, and the people losing their homes. This is the same party that wanted the auto plants and their suppliers to go out of business. We are just coming back from what they did to this country, and now we have them back to do the same things to our country again. What a mess the next two years is going to bring to this country. Talk about partisanship." Carl D. Leow Rogers Cit

It will? You mean like in Democrat Detroit and Democrat Chicago? Another good point Jaxie.

Man, you are firing on all zero cylinders again sir. You might need some new spark plugs :-)

Regarding healthcare. The private sector does everything better than the Federal Goobermint, except defense. No entity is less efficient than government.

I don't understand your side's confidence in an insatiable government. Perhaps you could explain that to me. Did you fill out the latest extra census forms? I didn't. Told 'em to F off.

But, I'll take your "trashed house" joke into consideration next time I don't drive through Detroit, OK Baghdad Bob?

Wow.

Dear Normy: Rrruff! Grrrrr!

See the GOP has proposed delaying pension funding to temporarily fund highway repair. GOP House is like a bad rental tenant who trashes the house. Never put a Republican in charge of anything, it will be worse when they leave.

Posted 98 days ago.

No, RS, I just want to move US Healthcare out of the lower 30's in the world into the top ten. Just because you have no desire for quality doesn't mean the rest of us aren't striving for it.

The Palestinian Hamas partnership has fired 921 rockets into Israeli civilian centers in the past week.

The people of Israel have 15 seconds to make it to safety after sirens go off many, many, many times per day.

That's cool with you huh? They also murdered three Jewish boys in cold blood, one of which was also an American Citizen.

Why not just change your name to Hitler Jr. you Hebrew hater?

If you kept firing rockets at Freeman's house, would you want me to condemn him when he kicked the*****out of you?

Your sense of fairness and justice, is that of a stupid rabid dog.

Taxpayers in the United States of AMERICA are subsidizing the defense of alleged murderers of a Palestinian teenager. Isn't that special?

"I would set as a goal single payer and make changes until we are there." (Jax)

Well of course you would.

Your problem seems to be that government gets to pick winners and losers, who you can and can't see, and your proposed solution is to give government an even greater ability to do that with even more control. Total control in fact.

Good thinking Jax. Free enterprise should have nothing to do with any industry, the healthcare one especially huh?

Is your degree in commie economics or free enterprise economics?

Why does it need to vanish? You distorted the stat after I outed you to include change, which includes me. The number wanting it repealed is getting smaller and smaller. Until our healthcare system improves to get us ahead of countries such as Canada, we should be constantly changing it. I would set as a goal single payer and make changes until we are there. To show you how ridiculous the American system is, my wife recently had an MRI. When we got the bill the MRI was in network, but the company that read it was out of network. Who even pays attention to the company reading an MRI? Now we need to follow our medical steps from start to finish to ensure all are in network. Single Payer. I'm sure the 74% of Republicans who like their Obamacare will agree.

Oh, you explained that number. Ok. You made it vanish too huh? Do you democrat dupes not see how weak your attempts to defend the indefensible are?

So, what changes would you like to make in it? Would you like to no longer be exempt from it? Don't worry, you won't be for much longer, especially if it gets repealed.

Normy. You've got polyps in your eyes and intestinal bacteria in your ears. Don't worry about it. Keep digging. It's probably easier late at night when Obastard is asleep. At least it's a horizontal trek during those late hours.

Much ado about NOTHING.

Posted 99 days ago.

I explained that number. Most people want it changed. As with any new law, it can be enhanced and improved. So I would be counted as someone who wants it changed, but even Republicans realize it would be a disaster now to repeal it, especially with 74% of Republicans on Obamacare liking it.

(CNSNews****) – A legal advocate for poor federal criminal defendants testified Friday before the House Judiciary Committee’s Over-Criminalization Task Force that the federal prison population has grown by 1,000 percent since 1980 and at a rate three times higher that of state prison populations in the past 10 years."

Weird. Were I an idiot, I'd be wondering why that is. As a non-idiot, I know why it is.

91-93% of the people want the healthcare law either repealed or changed. Again, very recent CBS poll.

"Scorecard on State Health System Performance, 2014: Commonwealth Fund researchers ranked the health systems of every state and the District of Columbia on a variety of health care measures. Of the 34 measures that could be tracked between 2007 and 2011–12, all states saw meaningful improvement on at least seven. But more than half of states lost ground on at least nine measures."

Scorecard on State Health System Performance for Low-Income Populations, 2013: The first-ever health system performance scorecard focusing on low-income Americans documents sharp disparities between states in the health and health care of the 39 percent of Americans with incomes less than twice the federal poverty level."

Regarding earthquakes, Jesus spoke specifically about them and many other things we currently see, in Matthew 24:6-9.

You're welcome.

Speaking of polls: "According to a new poll taken by the Commonwealth Fund, people enrolled in ObamaCare are satisfied. And yes, that includes Republicans:

Overall, 73 percent of people who bought health plans and 87 percent of those who signed up for Medicaid said they were somewhat or very satisfied with their new health insurance. Seventy-four percent of newly insured Republicans liked their plans. Even 77 percent of people who had insurance before — including members of the much-publicized group whose plans got canceled last year — were happy with their new coverage. [Commonwealth Fund] "

"From 1978 to 2008, Oklahoma was hit with an average of just two quakes of 3.0 magnitude of greater. As of June 19, 2014, there were 207 such quakes recorded in the state, the USGS said."

I wonder what the frack is going on?

No one cares about the crashed drives, as they pertain to some Koch Brothers 501c applications which were ultimately approved.

The republicans attacked the republicans for voter suppression because it didn't work, not because it's wrong. That is sad but not surprising. I have been alive a long time but never thought I'd see the words econ and fascinating in the same sentence.

The investigations go on as long as the stonewalling continues. The stonewalling continues so Obama administration people can say basically what you just said, "Dude, that was like 2 years ago."

Step one: Feign outrage and promise to get to the bottom of it.

Step two: Stonewall as long as possible.

Step three: "Dude, that was like two years ago." You folks have been investigating this forever. Lets move on.

Yes, lets. Stop stonewalling, miraculously crashing 7 related hard drives, threatening whistleblowers, and lying about it. Then perhaps the investigation can close.

This administration has not been forthcoming on Fast and Furious, Benghazi, the IRS, or the NSA, and the AG functions as it's defense council.

Maybe the administration can turn over another 60K blacked out documents, waste gallons of ink, and continue to obfuscate and hide. The most transparent administration ever is opaque. But people can still see straight through to the corruption.

I'm gone for awhile, may not be back until Monday. Immigration discussion later, perhaps.

Posted 103 days ago.

If anyone has broken any laws they should go to jail. Now with Benghazi Issa has been screaming for months there was a military stand down order given, now military people are declaring this week there wasn't. I'm all for investigations, but when is enough enough? There is no point where people will be satisfied, so on they go forever. You think Gowdy is going to call these military men to speak now that they have declared no one ordered a stand down? And how about the GOP suing the president for something they themselves wanted and voted on? It just goes on and on.
