Letters To Ed :-)

"We've been duped by the Republicans. Kentucky Sen. and minority leader Mitch McConnell in a news conference one day after the election, stated that the single and sole goal of the GOP over the next two years is: to make Barack Obama a single term president. What an arrogant and obnoxious goal and statement. There agenda before the election was to get votes by promising that there first goals were jobs, the economy and health care reform. It seems their goal is to grab power, not to do things for the people that are in need of jobs and or unemployment pay, health care for those that don't have it, and the people losing their homes. This is the same party that wanted the auto plants and their suppliers to go out of business. We are just coming back from what they did to this country, and now we have them back to do the same things to our country again. What a mess the next two years is going to bring to this country. Talk about partisanship." Carl D. Leow Rogers Cit

"The percentage of Americans who have a job or are looking for one, known as the labor force participation rate (LFPR), has plunged to a 34-year low, according to a new report from staffing company Express Employment Professionals."

In other words, last time it was this bad Jimmy Carter was President. So, O' is bucking for the worst president ever award. I say give it to him. He can place it right beside his peace prize. One earned, one not earned.

Democrat mantra: Spend to shrink!

Posted 384 days ago.

America's economy, or as Bush used to call it, Murca.

Posted 384 days ago.

Well, there is the whole mindset of people who believe the American economy will expand if we only spend LESS. We can see the effects of their economic boondoggle right in front of us. Only when the obstructions are gone will America's get fully back on track.

GOP mantra: Cut to Grow!

It's the Obama administration that has dumped the "peasants". I prefer to call them entry-level workers. We have no peasants in this country.

They are also dumping on themselves. SEIU is giving them dumb advice. But nothing is impacting the working poor more negatively than O'bastardcare.

It appears that O's goal is to have 60% or more of the populace receiving welfare. It's obvious he doesn't give a d-a-m-n about them. Black people are doing worse, women are doing worse, white men and women are doing worse. Poor working folks of every color are doing worse too. In fact, the median income of everyone is down by about 3K since O'mussolini has been in office.

That's something to cheer about huh? Spin that straw into fool's gold, fools.

Yes, Norma Rae up on the condiment bar at Wendy's with her sign, "Union!". America is coming alive again, and the 1%ers are boiling the wax to dump on the peasants.

RShill intellectual is also an oxymoron, I would say the obvious but I'll wager RS does.

Employees at the McDonalds located at the border of Southfield and Detroit went on strike for $15.00 per hour. The store promptly closed up shop. Now they get zero dollars per hour. Oooh what a coup.

Dat be some brilliant Union-type thinking huh? How do you spell Dumbass? There's an alternate spelling: U-n-i-o-n-s.

Thanks Normacabre, he did not know that.

Ironic? Isn't that what the plate in your head is made of?

Jax, you said intellectual in the same sentence as rshrill, that is ironic.

I'll take UPS' word for it if you don't mind. The media knows about as much about how to run a business as you do..zippo.

But, keep spinning Jaxowhirlingdervish. It counteracts the lift effect you get from that beanie with the little propeller atop it.

You'll pin the tail on the donkey just as soon as that donkey bites you in the face, trods you asunder, and makes you eat it's dust.

Who knew the democrats would be lending credence to Einstein's theory of insanity? Me.

All UPS did was something my company did 10 years ago - if your spouse is covered by her place of employment, we will not cover you. The Obamacare excuse was a copout, and the media called them out on it almost immediately.

The news folk claim that Assad has one thousand tons of chemical weapons. Where do ya' reckon he got all that from? Ex-Iraqi Generals say they got them from Iraq. The Generals explain exactly how they got there too.

Britain disagrees with Kerryhorsehead about the "evidence" he claims to have that Assad used the weapons. Which groups have the most to gain by blaming the use of these weapons on Assad?

Double duh!

Here's some empirical evidence for you dopes. U6 unemployment rate 14.6%. Debt 17 trillion, future liabilities 90 trillion. Growth rate since O' took office, less than 1%. More people unemployed now than in 2008. Part time jobs eclipsing full time jobs by a factor of about three. Deficits exceeding a trillion every year O's been in office.

Yeah Jaxogossiper, tell UPS, every fast food chain and restaurant there is, as well as everyone in the hospitality industry.

Rumplestiltskin could spin straw into gold. You goons cannot. Your feeble attempts are pathetic.

Empirical evidence is the enemy of the right wingers. Yes our president is an American and the Donald is a fraud. Put the cuffs on Trump and take that dead animal off his head.

Now that's three entities I have to let know RS says they are wrong. My doctor who is adding staff when he is supposed to be getting out of the business, Meijer's for expanding when America is failing, now Starbucks. Anyone else you want me to advise?

$8.00 for a cup of coffee...sure. May I have a $12.00 donut too? Thanks. Here's a $20.00 bill. Keep the change.

Oh, there's tax on top of that? Tell ya what, keep the coffee and the donut and I'll keep the $20.00.

"While some restaurant chains, including Papa John’s and Olive Garden, last year sputtered over the requirements of Obamacare, Starbucks’ response is: So?

“Other companies have announced that they won’t provide coverage for spouses; others are lobbying for the cut-off to be at 40 hours. But Starbucks will continue maintaining benefits for partners and won’t use the new law as excuse to cut benefits or lower benefits for its workers,” CEO Howard Schultz told Reuters."
