Letters To Ed :-)

"We've been duped by the Republicans. Kentucky Sen. and minority leader Mitch McConnell in a news conference one day after the election, stated that the single and sole goal of the GOP over the next two years is: to make Barack Obama a single term president. What an arrogant and obnoxious goal and statement. There agenda before the election was to get votes by promising that there first goals were jobs, the economy and health care reform. It seems their goal is to grab power, not to do things for the people that are in need of jobs and or unemployment pay, health care for those that don't have it, and the people losing their homes. This is the same party that wanted the auto plants and their suppliers to go out of business. We are just coming back from what they did to this country, and now we have them back to do the same things to our country again. What a mess the next two years is going to bring to this country. Talk about partisanship." Carl D. Leow Rogers Cit

Every time I think your stupidity has bottomed out, it goes lower. If there are no products on the shelves because stockers hours have been cut, sales go down. Even someone as stupid as you must realize that.

Every company announcing cuts in hours due to Obama care has suffered backlash. Papa Johns, Wendy's and Olive Garden to name three. And Papa John's said Obamacare would add a whopping 9 cents to the cost of a pizza. Republican greed in it's purest form.

You have it backwards dumbass.

WalMart employees are salespeople? Aaahahahaha.

If WalMart was like Government, they'd flood the floor with salespeople and subsidize every product. They'd also go out of business and lose all their stockholders as well as all of their employees.

Jaxoeconomist, Aaahahahaha.

Cutting hours is due to managers having an incentive based upon payroll. I was in Wal Mart Saturday to get some bolts and the section was half empty. Yes, a vicious cycle. Cut workers hours, less sales.

Cutting those not paid enough already to 28 hours is a great solution?

Why not have Government create even more problems for Government to "solve"? It's such a beautiful vicious cycle isn't it?

Why don't firefighters use gasoline to put out fires? Because they aren't as smart as democrats?

Nice story about a federal government funded foot bridge in the paper. But why should we help each other, it should be every man for himself. We should have refused the money.

An ILLUSION. Get out your dictionary so this can be clear. Some people are not paid enough for their work, because 'the market' determined they are not worth enough to make a decent living without 'sponging' off society. If others (the 'job creators'), a cynical joke at best, rake in BILLIONS, they must be worth it. Those who work two or three jobs actually providing a service and live under food insecurity, no problem, that's just 'the market'. No ineffective proselytizing by a minor intellect (yes YOU) can undermine the true teachings of Jesus that identified with the poor rather than the moneylenders can justify your arrogant attitude toward those who have been 'free marketed' out of prosperity. Pretender.

"But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel." (1 Timothy 5:8 KJV)

Jesus said, "you will always have the poor among you". He was right. There will always be a percentage of any populace who don't do anything for themselves other than whine and beg.

"For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat." (2 Thessalonians 3:10 KJV)

"Nobody should ever have to lift a finger to help themselves in any shape, form, or fashion." (Normanidiot 1:1 SIV...stupid idiot version)

I prefer the Biblical version. You continue with your own idiot version.

What's the opposite of free market solutions? Commie solutions?

Posted 438 days ago.

He fed 5000 people out of basically nothing, twice. Did he tax anyone to do it? Did he legislate that anyone else do it? Was he the Federal Government wasting huge chunks of every dollar to administer it? No.

Feel free to go and do likewise Normudpie. If you can find a hungry person, feed them yourself. Jesus gave of himself. What have you given to anyone, other than stupid opinions?

Tell us what the words in your bible tell you about the efforts of Jesus toward the poor. Idiot.

I hate to burst your bubble shrill, but the 'free market' is an illusion. To informed persons that is.

That's why you have insane dummies promoting this rampant failure and railing against anything that actually works. Right Normidiot?

rshill7

A free market lifts more people out of poverty than any other type system. If you want the most effective poverty solutions, go with what works. If you want the least effective, go with what fails. But don't ever forget, those that want to over-utilize that which fails, care much more than those who'd prefer doing what works. Interesting? Sure.

Democrats are like the doctors of old who felt that all sicknesses were blood-born, so they'd bleed the patients. When that didn't work, they'd bleed them some more. You see they were confident in that which did not work...in that which actually worsened the patient's condition, and often killed the patient from bleeding him/her to death. Lefty poverty solutions only kill the human spirit.

Democrats still want to bleed people to death. They want to double down on failure. They want to keep doing what they've been doing while expecting different results. It's both insanity and stupidity on steroids.
