Letters To Ed :-)

"We've been duped by the Republicans. Kentucky Sen. and minority leader Mitch McConnell in a news conference one day after the election, stated that the single and sole goal of the GOP over the next two years is: to make Barack Obama a single term president. What an arrogant and obnoxious goal and statement. There agenda before the election was to get votes by promising that there first goals were jobs, the economy and health care reform. It seems their goal is to grab power, not to do things for the people that are in need of jobs and or unemployment pay, health care for those that don't have it, and the people losing their homes. This is the same party that wanted the auto plants and their suppliers to go out of business. We are just coming back from what they did to this country, and now we have them back to do the same things to our country again. What a mess the next two years is going to bring to this country. Talk about partisanship." Carl D. Leow Rogers Cit

And if you think WWII wasn't necessary, you are dumber than I thought, which at one point seemed virtually impossible. Tell us in your convoluted wisdom how you would have avoided WWII.

RS, don't even bother. I've explained to you a dozen times about the surpluses we were running until your "Cut to Grow" ilk scuttled them, how a correct tax policy created 23 million jobs and full employment, it will never sink into your pea brain.

A progression into government slavery. I want freedom and opportunity. I'd like it to be at least as easy for my children to become successful as it was for me, not two or three times more difficult under the weight of ten times more debt.

Jaxofoolfodder thinks we can borrow ourselves into prosperity. Were he true to that idiotic theory he'd be by comparison at least 20 million in debt himself wouldn't he? He runs his life completely different than he would have government run ours.

If you both would try to look to the termination of that road you progress down, you might be able to recognize the destination. This is the wrong road. It does not lead to Utopia, Arcadia or anything similar. It leads to death and destruction.

Why the sycophantic devotion to stupidity?

It straps burdens grievous to bear on folks and their enterprises small, medium, and large. You would progress into ever-tighter restrictions, more and more rules, and higher and higher taxes. Your ideology smiles on sloth and grimaces at success. Your policies create more and more poor with less and less opportunity. Your policies create areas like Detroit, once the most powerful productive city in the world, now a virtual replica of Hiroshima and Nagasaki after the bombs. Your policies got us into WWI, WWII, Korea, and Vietnam and are preparing to get us into WWIII.

Yeah, I understand partisan politics and competing ideas. I'm on the right side of those ideas. The freedom side. You are on the subjugation side. I'm therefor possessed of more wisdom than you are. You would progress further and further without noticing that the road you progress down is the road to ruin. Progress for progress sake. A progression off a cliff.

The "workings of politics and the way of the world" IS partisan Normskull. It's two or more competing ideologies. Some of those ideologies have lifted countries out of poverty and bare subsistence to heretofore unequalled levels of prosperity. Others have brought countries to the very depths of deprivation and genocide.

I follow the ideology that thrusted America above and beyond countries of much, much greater antiquity. In less than 150 years after our Constitution was ratified we were already the wealthiest country on Earth. People from other countries flocked here for a chance at that American dream. Where one's birth, whether it be noble or common didn't mean squat. All had an equal chance of success. The means of that success, their own desires to achieve, and their willingness to work for it. They could harness both brain and brawn and make of their lives what they wanted.

The ideology you've chosen stands in the way of that.

Gay booty are two words that changed meaning in 30 years within the same language. Imagine the changes over thousands of years from a completely different language. Some one should tell the Sheets and the Soonies that language evolves so the Chrislicans don't have to bomb them into agreeing which version of Allah is bestest. I'm glad the catholics and protestants stopped killing each other for now at least.

nobo..Those are the bible thumping states that want to make adult materials illegal and yet watch it the most. We call that hypocracy. Hypocracy is a double lie by the people who aren't supposed to "bear false witness." Do you get it yet?

AND what you often express is clownish, so my estimation is only an 'educated' guess. (.)(.)

Exactly Rshrill. You have had every opportunity to enlighten us on what you sell. That makes YOU a poor salesman. Certainly you are incapable of understanding the workings of politics and the way of the world without posing some outlandish partisan nonsense. I ASSume you sell items that you think people need, but without a clue, and with only your slanted opinion to judge you by I cannot reasonably have a clue. Enlighten us, so no doubt can be expressed.

rshill7

Normskull. What do I sell? You have no clue. Yet you lie about it anyway. What kind of a useless slob does that?

See what I mean folks? These guys are gaping voids. Walking vacuums.

A self employed entrepreneur who sell useless things to people who do not need them. Yes, I am envious of YOU, the Submariner of comics.

Posted 358 days ago.

normanlake

Yes YOU are a propagandist, shrill. A sophomoronic purveyor of all that is counter to civilization. And tiresome as an advocate for Corporatism.

Posted 358 days ago.

I want to see those magnetic ribbons Republicans, you're either with us or against us. Of course Republicans made us a nation of torturers, they probably had wrapped their heads around the use of chemical weapons, if Obama opposed them.

CNN: House Speaker John Boehner says he supports President Obama's call for military action in Syria.

"In these troubled times we NEED the Unions..." (Normendacity)

...to drive the final nail in our collective coffin and finish us off. (RS)

A government dependent free-loader calling a self-employed entrepreneur, a "leech". That's richer than chocolate cheesecake isn't it? Consider the source. These vermin can't tell the truth to save their pork rinds.

If you want to see the true "screw you mentality", look once again, on Detroit. It's the culmination, the realization, of what unopposed democrat policies reap. They reap precisely what they've sown.

EIEIO.

Posted 358 days ago.

rshill7

People should be free to decide both what they need and what they want. neither you, nor government should have any say in that.

It's the democrats, unions, and lifetime welfare recipients who are the parasites. The working people are what keep this nation afloat. Keep them out of it. They are struggling under the yoke of the previously mentioned groups.

Every syllable you wrote is a stupid, propagandist, lie. Do you never tire of that? Go live in Detroit and practice what you screech.

Along with CLOWN SHOES and paraphernalia, rshrill sits in his little room wearing a tutu and the clown shoes he sells the little hand buzzers. Peddling stuff people do not need is his idea of the American Capitalist Way, while he denounces middle class workers as 'parasites'. In these troubled times we NEED the Unions to remind people of the possibility of upward mobility, as well as to bring America out of the I got mine and screw you mentality. Leech.
