Letters To Ed :-)

"We've been duped by the Republicans. Kentucky Sen. and minority leader Mitch McConnell in a news conference one day after the election, stated that the single and sole goal of the GOP over the next two years is: to make Barack Obama a single term president. What an arrogant and obnoxious goal and statement. There agenda before the election was to get votes by promising that there first goals were jobs, the economy and health care reform. It seems their goal is to grab power, not to do things for the people that are in need of jobs and or unemployment pay, health care for those that don't have it, and the people losing their homes. This is the same party that wanted the auto plants and their suppliers to go out of business. We are just coming back from what they did to this country, and now we have them back to do the same things to our country again. What a mess the next two years is going to bring to this country. Talk about partisanship." Carl D. Leow Rogers Cit

So shrill ahd his essay picked up by a 'national conservative blog'. I am unimpressed, since conservative bloggery does not suggest any particular intelligence, only one simple(minded) viewpoint. He says he got a lot of nice complimentary comments from the conservative base he so jealously defends. He goes on to laud his Scottish ancestry, which is fine in and of itself. BUT, he can decry ancient history of the genocide of Native(Aboriginal) inhabitants of what became 'America'. Post your 'essay' here, only condense it, or guide us to the publication, so we can read it ourselves. Nah, will not happen, shrill has no courage.

The Affordable Care Act has been misrepresented by the GOP. 40 plus times! Because Big Business does not want it, and the GOP, in particular the do-nothing House no longer listens to "the American people", which is only a cynical phrase to them. Whispering business interests in the ears of Congress members should not be able to dominate the conversation, that is NOT Democracy (ha!)Not funny ha!, but sarcastic ha! What we have here is a Congress that are loyal servants to the Corporate Welfare system.

Wishing death to someone's children? I spew that every day? Try never, ever, in my entire life.

Why can't you lefties ever just speak the truth? Good grief, what a collection of pigs you are.

I was going to provide you with a link to the essay, including over 90 positive comments from my friends regarding it. But after reading your previous post, I'd rather just push you into a pile of hog slop. How you can stand and stomach your own company is a mystery I don't care to solve.

"I had my last essay picked up by a national conservative blog a couple of days ago." Details, links, please. I'm wondering if you write essays in a different style than you post on this forum. Otherwise, I find it hard to believe anybody would like what you write.

"May your children all die from debilitating, painful, and incurable diseases." I agree this is inappropriate but wonder why you in particular are outraged, SHRILL, since this is the type of venomous vitriol you spew every time you communicate. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black (excuse me, you would probably say 'colored').

"Allan Brauer, the communications chair for the Democratic Party of Sacramento, Calif., told an aide to Sen. Ted Cruz (R., Tex.) on Friday: "May your children all die from debilitating, painful, and incurable diseases."

He actually typed it out to her in a tweet.

Also:

"University of Kansas Indefinitely Suspends Professor Who Hoped For Murder Of NRA Members’ Children" He typed that out too. Then doubled down on it.

Something is seriously wrong with these scumbags. Can't bring myself to call them people.

He stabbed them in the back alright...with a shot of much needed adrenaline. Now, on to the Senate filibuster, where the Republicans there will shove Obamacare straight up his Indonesian-Kenyan colon.

Oh it'll last for hours and hours and be much more popular than Rand Paul's filibuster was last time, on drones. Even the no-information voters will hear of it.

Why it took so much Republican arm-twisting to defund this monstrosity by their constituents is weird. Clearly, the majority of all Americans are against it.

It's been dragging our economy down long enough. Working poor and businesses hardest hit.

Yes amos, Cuban Canadian Cruz is a whacko who just stabbed his party in the back. It would be nice to have a woman president, assuming Hillary will win.

Well, the House has finished wasting taxpayer time and money for the 41st time. 3 year old children. Bed time but the want to stay up until midnight.

A democrat unwilling to acquit an innocent republican? No freaking Way!

Did any green stuff squirt from his hog-hole while it were spinning around with his chair jumping up and down under him?

That, I could believe.

Braveheart, good movie.

Why DeLay won his appeal:Republican Justices Melissa Goodwin, who wrote the opinion, and David Gaultney both voted to overturn DeLay’s conviction. Chief Justice Woody Jones, a Democrat, dissented.

John McCain called Ted Cruz a "whacko bird". It's fun to watch the right wing repeat the same errors. I hope Sarah Palin and Michelle Bachman win the nomination. It would be nice to have a woman president for once.

Correction: "The Fair Maid of Perth"

I'm reading my 9th Sir Walter Scott historic novel in a row. Love the old books written about even older times. This one is called "The Fair Maiden of Perth". Scott wrote it in the early 1800's. The setting is the late 1300's in Scotland, where me bonny ancestors lived. I have condensed this brief conversation down to the bare teeth of it. It is between a glover (glove maker) and a bonnet maker:

"Nay good father glover, thou takest too much credit for they grey hairs."

"Trust thy coxcomb no longer with me said the incensed glover...but take thyself, and that thing thou callest a head, out of my reach, lest I borrow back 5 minutes of my youth and break thy pate!"

"You have had a merry Fastern's Even neighbor", said the bonnet maker, "and I wish you a quiet sleep; we shall meet better friends tomorrow."

I have no idea where Fletcher lives. He's a cool guy though. I like him.

I had my last essay picked up by a national conservative blog a couple of days ago. Lots of very nice, complimentary comments from folks about it.

Normealticket probably had some of his stuff picked up too...by the garbage man. They would've brought it back to him a little later while pinching their noses.

Who did he bribe? I suppose he somehow tapped into the truth. Ronnie Earle, not so much. He tried to parlay it into a Lt. Gov. run, but didn't make it past the primaries. Not sure why that is. He seemed like a perfectly good slanderous political prostitute to me.

Perhaps Earle will be charged for something he didn't do one day. It won't be by a Republican though. It'd have to be something he did do. We like the truth on our side.

Posted 435 days ago.

Then why don't they put a billboard on State Street near Fletcher's house? Or is it former house?

He got a conviction, who did Bug Spray Delay bribe to get it overturned?

Really? The entire city of Alpena is a white neighborhood. Everything between here and Atlanta is also a white neighborhood. We're not talking about subdivisions here are we?
