Letters To Ed :-)

"We've been duped by the Republicans. Kentucky Sen. and minority leader Mitch McConnell in a news conference one day after the election, stated that the single and sole goal of the GOP over the next two years is: to make Barack Obama a single term president. What an arrogant and obnoxious goal and statement. There agenda before the election was to get votes by promising that there first goals were jobs, the economy and health care reform. It seems their goal is to grab power, not to do things for the people that are in need of jobs and or unemployment pay, health care for those that don't have it, and the people losing their homes. This is the same party that wanted the auto plants and their suppliers to go out of business. We are just coming back from what they did to this country, and now we have them back to do the same things to our country again. What a mess the next two years is going to bring to this country. Talk about partisanship." Carl D. Leow Rogers Cit

I have no idea where Fletcher lives. He's a cool guy though. I like him.

I had my last essay picked up by a national conservative blog a couple of days ago. Lots of very nice, complimentary comments from folks about it.

Normealticket probably had some of his stuff picked up too...by the garbage man. They would've brought it back to him a little later while pinching their noses.

Who did he bribe? I suppose he somehow tapped into the truth. Ronnie Earle, not so much. He tried to parlay it into a Lt. Gov. run, but didn't make it past the primaries. Not sure why that is. He seemed like a perfectly good slanderous political prostitute to me.

Perhaps Earle will be charged for something he didn't do one day. It won't be by a Republican though. It'd have to be something he did do. We like the truth on our side.

Then why don't they put a billboard on State Street near Fletcher's house? Or is it former house?

He got a conviction, who did Bug Spray Delay bribe to get it overturned?

Really? The entire city of Alpena is a white neighborhood. Everything between here and Atlanta is also a white neighborhood. We're not talking about subdivisions here are we?

Posted 397 days ago.

I've never seen a billboard in a white neighborhood.

Ronnie Earle should be prosecuted for misconduct, like that prosecutor in NC for trying to railroad those Lacrosse boys.

Demoncraps. Don't they make you sick several times per day? Yep.

KVUE – "A Texas Court of Appeals in Austin has overturned the conviction of former U.S. House Majority Leader Tom DeLay, attorney Brian Wice told KVUE sister station KHOU 11 News.

DeLay, 66, was convicted in 2010 for his alleged role in a scheme to influence Texas elections.

He was found guilty of money laundering and conspiracy to commit money laundering after he was accused of helping funnel corporate money to Texas candidates in 2002.

In documents released early Thursday, however, an appeals court said the evidence in the case was “legally insufficient to sustain DeLay’s convictions.”

The court said all judgments against DeLay were reversed, and the former congressman was formally acquitted..."

You see, it's like the old saying, "a lie travels half-way round the world before the truth even get's it's pants on." would that lies like these never occurred.

I also wonder if any white people were intimidated by new black panthers standing in front of a polling place wearing military style clothing and carrying billy clubs. That's actual illegal intimidation, which didn't bother Holder or Obama one bit. The are very discriminating about which laws they enforce and which laws they don't.

Why, Obama simply changes laws that have already been enacted single-handedly. When did that become legal?

Hmmm, we have drunk driving is illegal signs all over the place and seat belt signs too. We also have MADD anti-drunk driving bumper stickers. I suppose drunk folks and non-seat belt wearers would be intimidated by those.

It seems logical to say that the only people intimidated by a sign saying voter fraud is illegal would be someone who commits voter fraud. Merely voting is not fraud. Ineligible voting or multi-voting would be fraud.

It also seems logical that the only people intimidated by "murder is illegal" signs would be murderers.

So, it seems like Mr. Ed is insinuating that blacks commit voter fraud, as only a fraudster would be intimidated by a voter fraud sign.

Not sure why blacks put up with insinuations that they are too something or other to get ID's and other insinuations such as these.

It makes me wonder what else democrats think black people do and can't do.

Posted 397 days ago.

It pertains to billboards that were put up in black neighborhoods only saying voter fraud was a crime and told what the fine was. I would say that would not be very intimidating to white voters.

I does not appear the Sec. of State was behind them, only other Republicans, Koch Brothers were suspected.

I'll try again: Why is it intimidating to blacks? Is it intimidating to whites?

It's illegal to murder too. Who would that statement intimidate?

Posted 397 days ago.

It's called an opinion. Ed is entitled to one.

MSNBC’s Ed Schultz: "Ohio Secretary of State “Intimidating” Blacks By Saying It’s Illegal To Commit Voter Fraud."

Anyone care to analyze that statement? Why is it intimidating to blacks? Is it intimidating to whites?

It's illegal to murder too. Who would that statement intimidate?

If you have to erase your party's history, you might be in the wrong party.

Funny, I don't feel shot down...feel quite sprite, as well as justified.

I also feel like you need an independent score-keeper to properly count up your "shots". I hear noises but have received no wounds.

Try using bullets rather than blanks Barney. There might be one in your shirt pocket.

Yep, a hollow point in your pocket, a hollow pock on your shoulders.

FYI, if you have to go back 50 years to find a black person to associate with your party, you might be racist. If you have to go back over 100 years, you are racist. And if you have to dig up Abe Lincoln's bones to find a Republican example, especially when he couldn't get to the table in today's GOP, you are in denial and need intervention.

"Let's see, you want abortions to be as easy as possible = Death of babies. You want a person to have to run from his/her own house if broken into and attacked = Death of self-defense, and you want fraud to be as rampant as possible = Death of freedom, Death of election integrity."

RS= Words in other peoples mouths disease.

A)I didn't make abortion legal, the Supreme Court did. B)Someone is breaking into a house, feel free to shoot them, OK by me, never said it wasn't. C) Will oppose election fraud if it ever rises above .000000001%.

RS, hyperbole, lies, and attempts to rise from the dead after being shot down.

All you have to do is look in your mailbox twice a month and devolve into something less than human the rest of the year. And if your rear takes root in your couch, see if your case worker can pay for a tree surgeon to extricate you from it.

When you're ready to rise, come rise with us.

In other words, everyone can be safe...except the innocent?

"And I say to myself...what a wonderful world" (Louie Armstrong)

If you're a democrat, come home to the party of Lincoln, MLK and Frederick Douglass. Our tent consists of people who believe in the potential of other people. We believe in freedom. We don't require that Government direct or control our every step. We disdain authoritarianism. We also disdain fraud, money burning, and keeping people down.

We believe that a single mother on welfare, or a gang-banger from Chicago, can rise according to his/her own individual aspirations. That where there is a will, there is a way.

If you have no will, if you have no initiative, if you need a 24/7 pilot running your life by remote control, or if you are permanently addicted to murder, mayhem, and lawlessness, stay put. You can keep the crutches and crumbs.

Normillipede, I have an extra 50 pairs of clown shoes, new still in the boxes and boxes, and boxes. You can have them for 123% of what I paid for them. Use smoke signals.

Heavy duty multi-decade weed tokers shouldn't be able to get past the first line of anything. That would stretch the attention span beyond it's limit and would explain why your responses are so inane.

Jaxomeletwithcheese, suppressing fraud should be something both sides agree on, unless one of those sides is the only one committing the fraud. See if you can wrap your bacon-beak around that. I've got the grits over here. I'll UPS them to you and you can kiss them.

Let's see, you want abortions to be as easy as possible = Death of babies. You want a person to have to run from his/her own house if broken into and attacked = Death of self-defense, and you want fraud to be as rampant as possible = Death of freedom, Death of election integrity. Dang, who wouldn't want to be on your team? Answer = people.
