Letters To Ed :-)

"We've been duped by the Republicans. Kentucky Sen. and minority leader Mitch McConnell in a news conference one day after the election, stated that the single and sole goal of the GOP over the next two years is: to make Barack Obama a single term president. What an arrogant and obnoxious goal and statement. There agenda before the election was to get votes by promising that there first goals were jobs, the economy and health care reform. It seems their goal is to grab power, not to do things for the people that are in need of jobs and or unemployment pay, health care for those that don't have it, and the people losing their homes. This is the same party that wanted the auto plants and their suppliers to go out of business. We are just coming back from what they did to this country, and now we have them back to do the same things to our country again. What a mess the next two years is going to bring to this country. Talk about partisanship." Carl D. Leow Rogers Cit

I really like it when democrats are placed into their true historic context. How they've managed to juxtapose their own history with ours is an evil mystery, much to the detriment of black people, who repeatedly vote against their own self-interest.

Much like Lincoln set them free with his Emancipation Proclamation, the truth can set them free again today. But today, the truth is hard to come by. The truth is the arch enemy of the left. Their ideology cannot withstand truth as an opponent. Truth would kick their butts into oblivion and relabel them as liars. Re-enslaving folks to those lies.

So the lies continue with wanton repetition by the perennially duped. The left is always in need of "useful idiots". Our public, union-run schools, along with our media, provide fresh recruits into that idiot arena annually, without abate. Yep, we're turning them out faster than we can wise them up.

I am glad we won't be attacking Syria. Striking that unbelievably tall man with an unbelievably small attack wouldn't do jack! It could however give us an instant several other countries we'd have to fight though couldn't it? It could also kickstart WWIII. Not the least bit interested in another one of those.

So, I'm a wee bit thankful for the blister and blunder of O'bingo and Secretariat Kerry here, which Putin latched onto. It's like a little game of Cat and Mouse where Putin's the Cat and O'bozo's the Mouse, and Putin has some really good aged cheese with which to entice the little rodent.

O'rodent is a little like Elvis in this small way: He's caught in a trap. Keep him there. We can rebuild America's prestige when we have a real President and Senate. He's like the front man for Radical Islam's Muslim Brotherhood, along with his brother, who Lois Lerner approved for tax free status in a single moon, while Tea Party Patriots were held in limbo for years.

Questions? Good. Here ya' go:

"In my Father's house are many mansions, if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know." (John 14:2-4 KJV)

So Barry won the war (for now) without firing a shot. That rapture delay should make the Chrislicans mad. Jesus can taxi his rapture shuttle back to the hanger. It took 36 years and 11 billion miles for the Voyager to exit the solar system so jesus should park his shuttle here because next thing you know McCain will be saying bomb, bomb, bomb Iran. I still don't know why jesus deserted us for another solar system or galaxy; wherever planet heaven is.

"For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty." (2 Peter 1:16)

So, all who have slaughtered Jews throughout history did so to take up for Jesus? Hitler wanted to wipe them off the planet for the cause of Christ? Revenge for the crucifixion? Is that what you believe?

But in the movie you caught a tiny glimpse of the sufferings he endured to reconcile us to God. God and unrepentant sin cannot coexist. Hence Christ took the sins of the whole world upon himself. Those who accept his gift, the paying of our individual fines, if you will, are called Christians, and saved.

God placed our sins, past, present and future upon him. The debt had to paid, and Christ paid it. No longer were repeated animal sacrifices required. Christ sacrificed himself once, for all. The free gift of eternal life. You either accept it or reject it. Simple. Straight forward.

He had more than enough abuse from the Romans who crucified him HH. Would you like to hurl more abuse at him today? Go ahead. He can take it. He's the manliest man who ever lived.

Just finished the new bestseller "Zealot". It was a great, eye-opening read. Very well written and researched. Of course most Christians are afraid to read it because it was written by a Muslim (although he is a religious scholar).

One thing the movie did do for me was put anti-Semitism into perspective. If that's what Christians have been teaching for millennia about the J E W s, no wonder they have been persecuted throughout history.

Worst movie I ever saw last night ... Passion of the Christ. I should have just flogged myself. After watching that entire thing I was begging to be crucified.

The last fight over the debt ceiling from your ridiculous Tea Party hero/zeroes resulted only in US credit being downgraded. You guys have tried to derail our economic recovery ever since the crash(unsuccessfully, I might add). Shut up already, would you?

I guess Congress just doesn't need the power of the purse anymore. We should just let the ignorant, reactionary American public decide whether to raise the debt ceiling and which programs should be funded. Darn! Why didn't I think of it before.

WASHINGTON, D.C., Sept. 12, 2013 – "Today, teachers in Kenosha, Wis., voted to decertify their union, the Kenosha Education Association, by a margin of nearly two to one. Only 37 percent of the teachers opted to retain the union in an election made possible by the labor reforms enacted under Gov. Scott Walker (R).

The result goes to show that when workers have a choice on whether to join a union instead of being forced into one by law, they often choose to vote down the union."

This is Wisconsin's third largest teacher union :-)

"Republicans...identify more with the top 1% rather than the humans who voted for them..." (Normimickry)

That is a 150 year old fallacy. An untrue cliche'designed for easily swayed know-nothings. Regular folks, and that includes black folks, always do better when conservatives are in charge. Notice I said conservatives, not republicans. Why they, or anyone else votes for democrats is a mystery. I chalk it up to stupidity and a sycophantic media.

The same thing I appreciate about all successful capitalists. I also appreciate their willingness to endure all the evil death threats etc. from your side and still engage courageously in free speech. They haven't been chased away by fools such as yourself.

Your side is about free speech too, but only from and for their own side. They attempt to stifle all dissent. Nothing to admire about that.

Oh, your side is quite tolerant too, but only to those who agree with them completely. Nothing to admire about that either.

Sure it's about democrats. Your hatred runs in only one direction, towards republicans and away from democrats. You are congenitally incapable of criticizing anything they do regardless of how heinous the deed. Nothing to admire there either.

Again, what is it you appreciate about the Kochs?

Dumbass it is not about Democrats. It is about politicians who collect money to represent 'us' and use their influence to sustain the status quo. The Republicans are just better at it and identify more with the top 1% rather than the humans who voted for them, and deserve better.

Invite the 20-30-something's over to explain it to you. Your position is that only those who support democrats should engage in politics. That was Lois Lerner's desire also.
