Letters To Ed :-)

"We've been duped by the Republicans. Kentucky Sen. and minority leader Mitch McConnell in a news conference one day after the election, stated that the single and sole goal of the GOP over the next two years is: to make Barack Obama a single term president. What an arrogant and obnoxious goal and statement. There agenda before the election was to get votes by promising that there first goals were jobs, the economy and health care reform. It seems their goal is to grab power, not to do things for the people that are in need of jobs and or unemployment pay, health care for those that don't have it, and the people losing their homes. This is the same party that wanted the auto plants and their suppliers to go out of business. We are just coming back from what they did to this country, and now we have them back to do the same things to our country again. What a mess the next two years is going to bring to this country. Talk about partisanship." Carl D. Leow Rogers Cit

My doctor is adding a PA to handle the increased patient load. Once again, someone who hasn't been briefed about doctors retiring and jobs being lost. We must get the Republican word out to Meijer's and my doctor that they are doing it backwards.

88 year old WWII beaten to death in Spokane. I wish I knew what to do. Of course, the conservatives are blaming Obama, Sharpton and Jackson. We know ultimately all things lead to Obama in their minds.

Headline should have read "5 Michigan GOP Reps Continue to Waste Taxpayer Time and Money, Declare War on People With Pre-Existing Conditions".

"Signing the letter from Michigan were U.S. Reps. Justin Amash of Cascade Township, Dan Benishek of Crystal Falls, Kerry Bentivolio of Milford, Bill Huizenga of Zeeland and Tim Walberg of Tipton." (DFP)

So, NS, it looks like Dan has begun to listen. I take back some of what I said. He's had a bit of a spine replacement :-)

Yay! B,b,b,Benny and the shek!

New welcome news regarding Dan Benishek. It appears that Dan signed a letter along with some other...well, here's the headline in the Detroit Free Press:

"5 GOP U.S. reps from Michigan sign letter to defund Affordable Care Act"

WASHINGTON — Five Republican members of Michigan’s congressional delegation have signed a letter to U.S. House leaders calling on them to support legislation defunding health care reform legislation passed three years ago.

In all, 79 congressional Republicans signed the letter to House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio, and Majority Leader Eric Cantor, R-Va., saying the Affordable Care Act, or what they referred to as Obamacare, leads to job losses, coverage changes and other negative effects.

"Since most of the citizens we represent believe that Obamacare should never go into effect, we urge you to affirmatively defund the implementation and enforcement” of the law in any spending bill that comes to the House floor, the letter read." (DFP)

Lots of doctors will be retiring. They don't want an Obamacare health board telling them what to do. They don't want to beg them to let them do what the need to do either. They also don't government dictating to them what they can charge.

So you see, the big bad Koch Bros etc. will be outspent bigtime...with the public's money.

See what I've done here and below? That's called a rebuttal. you responded to it with an unrelated one-liner. Nice debate there Norm.

"If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor. Period" (Obama)

"If you like your health insurance, you can keep it. Period" (Obama)

Everything Obama said about this program was a lie. Not one of you in 3 years has been able to mention a single phrase he used to sell it, which was true. That is quite telling. The truth is spilling out though, all over, and it's very, very, messy, causing much disillusionment out there.

Across the country, 105 groups were awarded a total of $67 million in so-called navigator grants, ranging from the Epilepsy Foundation of Florida and AIDS Alabama, Inc. to the Greater Phoenix Urban League and the Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County."

"Obamacare National Marketing Campaign to Cost Nearly $700 Million." (Real Clear Politics)

"The campaign won't come cheap: The total amount to be spent nationally on publicity, marketing and advertising will be at least $684 million, according to data compiled The Associated Press from federal and state sources."

Keep in mind. The above is being done with the people's tax dollars. The above is where you'll find the disinformation the taxpaying citizens are paying for. Not to mention the free publicity Obama always gets from the his MSM cheerleading squad in the Press.

“Since the law’s passage in March 2010, critics have spent a total of about $400 million on television ads that refer to it, according to a new analysis by the Campaign Media Analysis Group at Kantar Media, which tracks such spending. Supporters have spent less than a quarter of that — about $75 million — on ads that cast the law in a positive light, according to the analysis.” (Washington Post)

I haven't seen any of these ads, nor have a seen any disinformation. Plus, much of this was during the 2010 shellacking. Most of what I've seen are the actual busines owners, part timer headlines and news reports of same, Union heads moaning and complaining about it and such. I've also seen Government workers, including the head of the IRS say he didn't want to have receive his health coverage from it. At least one of it sponsors, a Senator, who is retiring, called it a trainwreck. Then there's this:

Duh, let's see, The Koch Brothers, Americans for Prosperity, according to the Campaign Media Analysis Group, about 400 Million dollars just for teevee ads, where MOST people get their 'information. NOW, I challenge YOU to read up on it and get back with me. The truth is out there, just get your head out of the sand.

Of the "hundreds of millions of dollars" you claim conservative groups are spending to spread disinformation about Obamacare, can you delineate a single dollar of that or a single message from those "conservative groups" to substantiate such a claim?

Insult me all you want Ok? You're certainly no stranger to it. You often condemn it within the same sentences where you exercise it. You don't recognize it in yourself, only in others. Insults from you run off me like water off of 57's back, so long as he first shaves and waxes it. (I suggest Turtle Wax.) Leave my wife out of it.

The main problem is that you don't debate anything. You never answer pointed or rounded questions. There is never any legitimate back and forth with you. You respond with unrelated one-liners or you change the subject completely. You are never able to substantiate anything, or acknowledge anything. So, since you are incapable of even engaging in argument, you will never win one.

I'll try once more: Of the "hundreds of millions of dollars" you claim conservative groups are spending to spread disinformation about Obamacare, can you delineate a single dollar of that or a single message from those "conservative groups" to substantiate such a

NO fight Mr. Anonymous. I want to see the face associated with the hateful bombast. YOU insult somebody YOU have never seen or talked to nearly EVERY post, so take offense if you must, but one thing YOU cannot hide, is YOU are crippled inside.
