Letters To Ed :-)

"We've been duped by the Republicans. Kentucky Sen. and minority leader Mitch McConnell in a news conference one day after the election, stated that the single and sole goal of the GOP over the next two years is: to make Barack Obama a single term president. What an arrogant and obnoxious goal and statement. There agenda before the election was to get votes by promising that there first goals were jobs, the economy and health care reform. It seems their goal is to grab power, not to do things for the people that are in need of jobs and or unemployment pay, health care for those that don't have it, and the people losing their homes. This is the same party that wanted the auto plants and their suppliers to go out of business. We are just coming back from what they did to this country, and now we have them back to do the same things to our country again. What a mess the next two years is going to bring to this country. Talk about partisanship." Carl D. Leow Rogers Cit

What's that sound I hear? The death knell of the Tea Party? You don't say?

"The House of Representatives cannot only refuse, but they alone can propose, the supplies requisite for the support of government. . . . This power over the purse may, in fact, be regarded as the most complete and effectual weapon with which any constitution can arm the immediate representatives of the people, for obtaining a redress of every grievance, and for carrying into effect every just and salutary measure."

I criticize Republicans early often and late. You on the other hand are like a democrat Borg.

Given the choice between Romney and Obama, of course I'd vote for Romney. It's no secret that I preferred Cain, Gingrich or Perry.

Obeying the law doesn't make one pro-that-law does it? I'm against income taxes, and property taxes, yet I pay them both, because, uh, it's the law. I'm against a host of things this government does, supports and throws money at.

So I guess what "that makes me", is pragmatic and law abiding. "You can't always get what you want." Do I want to kill those who disagree with me? No.

Do you have any democrat criticism you'd like to share Mr. Borg? Your President, when in Illinois, voted to allow the killing of babies who survived abortions.

If you're against abortion, plainly say say so. I guess everything else I said in the post you over-reacted to was spot on, right?

You and Normurderer should really consider starting your own coven.

More than six in 10 Americans, or 63%, disapprove of the way the GOP is handling the budget impasse that could force the first government shutdown in 17 years, according to an ABC News/Washington Post poll.

FYI, Romney was pro-abortion and you voted for him. What does that make you?

Posted 387 days ago.

Poll after poll placing the blame on Republicans for the shutdown, and rightfully so. After their war on women, minorities and the poor, this war on America as a whole might be the final straw.

"constantly vote for the death of the unborn"

Had a Republican president, Congress, and conservative Supreme Court, yet no effort was made by them to overturn the law of the land. You should be asking yourself why they failed you so miserably. Or was it because Bill Frist, the Senate Majority Leader, made millions off abortion?

In the meantime, I'm gonna have to throw up a time or three, just to get the stench of what you just wrote out of my system.

You however, are swathed from head to toe in it.

You have a horrible case of heart disease.

Have an evil day.

Isn't it interesting and quite telling, how the "caring" left, when they cannot express themselves forcefully enough to suit themselves, due to an overwhelming hatred of those they disagree with, consistently resort to wishing death on folks, celebrate the death of other folks, constantly vote for the death of the unborn, can get fully behind Kavorkian-type actions, and are fine with government having 100% control of every aspect of their own evil, pathetic lives, as well as ours, yet still claim to be the party which cares about folks?

Ain't it beautiful? No it isn't. It's hideous. They always reveal their true colors as precisely that which they claim to disdain.

Thanks for sharing Norm. Hope that post of yours made you feel better. Stalin and Lenin no doubt felt great too right after killing their own people. Apparently the cloth they were cut from still permeates the left. I would never, ever, wear anything cut from that cloth.

Congress 'approval' rate now at 10%, with Tea Party 'approval' at 3%. Great! Americans ARE waking up.

The Koch Brothers, Goldman Sachs, Berkshire Hathaway, and super wealthy Tea Party backers, along with the Ivy League puppet Ted Cruz, John Boehner, and other GOP 'supporters' of America, who stingily covet every dollar the wealthy swine feel is owed them are responsible for this absurd shutdown. They do not want Americans to have health care, and they begrudge paying a fair share, because who could settle for 5 billion when they can have 6 billion. These pathetic swine should face the Guillotine, so get out the pitchforks and torches.

This also happened last night:

"A federal judge has rejected Attorney General Eric Holder’s attempt to keep the courts from wading into the “Fast and Furious” documents dispute that led to him being held in contempt by the House last year.

In a ruling Monday night, U.S. District Court Judge Amy Berman Jackson turned down the Justice Department’s request to dismiss a lawsuit brought by the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee after President Barack Obama asserted executive privilege to prevent some records about the administration’s response to the “Operation Fast and Furious” gunrunning scandal from being turned over to Congress."

You limp-wristed scumbags make me sick. You are a collective nothing burger with moldy cheese and fermented mayonnaise. This is the beginning of your end. Prepare to be on the spittle end of American conservatives as we spew you out of office!

Obama? What will you say tomorrow? Does it matter? Nope.

By the way, the Peter King wing lost...

Call Obamas bluff. He's toast!

Someone at CNN was speaking abut the Peter king wing...

The Peter King wing? When did Peter get a wing? Never heard of that wing. Is it only one wing? If so, is it a flying round in circle thing? Could it also be known as the traitor wing, the democrat wing, or the ring a ding wing?

Will the fat lady sing? Where's Bob and Bing? On the Road to Beijing? Where's David's sling? And what will Boehner bring? Anything? What excuse will they fling?

The old guard in both houses on "our side" SUCK! Wimpy, weenie wusses! Men and women unworthy of their titles, ever worthy of denigrating epithets! They take their ex-constituents as idiots not realizing that they themselves are precisely that.

The Senate should have voted with Cruz. The Democrats would be covered in their own excrement by now had they done that. In other words, Cruz was right, King was wrong! Cruz was right, McCain was wrong! Cruz was right, Graham was wrong! Cruz was right Cornyn was wrong!

The same network which will be tutoring Americans on how wonderful Obamacare is all next week. Apparently journalism is dead..at least to them, much like they are to me. They should change their name to Pravda.

"Mark Halperin on MSNBC this morning said that the White House is banking on the fact that the media, who is largely sympathetic to their argument, will blame Republicans for the shutdown."

Well there it is. Blame is not a truth thing. Blame misplaced is a lie thing.

Do I ever listen to MSNBC? Heck no. It's pure crap 99.999% of the time. I do see some of the crap that gets quoted from there though. On rare occasions, a small tidbit of truth comes out inadvertently, such as this quote above.

I need Affordable health care for my Dogs! Dottie, my walker hound escaped from the only non electrified part of the 900 feet of 8 foot fence in their kennel. She was gone 14 hours and came home at 7am this morning with a gash in her head and her eyes all puffy and swollen shut. She is over at the Alpena Animal clinic now for observation and X-rays. The out-of-pocket expense so far is $150.00 I think I need to look into pet insurance.
