Letters To Ed :-)

"We've been duped by the Republicans. Kentucky Sen. and minority leader Mitch McConnell in a news conference one day after the election, stated that the single and sole goal of the GOP over the next two years is: to make Barack Obama a single term president. What an arrogant and obnoxious goal and statement. There agenda before the election was to get votes by promising that there first goals were jobs, the economy and health care reform. It seems their goal is to grab power, not to do things for the people that are in need of jobs and or unemployment pay, health care for those that don't have it, and the people losing their homes. This is the same party that wanted the auto plants and their suppliers to go out of business. We are just coming back from what they did to this country, and now we have them back to do the same things to our country again. What a mess the next two years is going to bring to this country. Talk about partisanship." Carl D. Leow Rogers Cit

By the way dinglebumpkin, the Boston tea Party was all about taxation without representation. That's it.

If they were indeed British subjects, they should have had every right, and every bit of representation which every other British subject, including those who'd lived in London all of their lives had. They did not. They had zero representation in the British Parliament.

Not only that, many of the "acts" passed by British Parliament were actually illegal under Britain's own Constitution.

Next time you feel like giving me a history lesson, first take one yourself.

Is there anything put forth by the left that you don't swallow hook, line and stinker?

We are all "taxed enough already" (TEA), except for those such as yourself who pay zero federal taxes. Had you some skin in the game yourself, you might sing a different tune. You are one of the takers, not one of the producers or contributors. You'll never be able to put yourself in a producer's shoes. So, how does taxing the heck out of rich folks help you?

Take your bloodthirsty guillotine and shove it up your a-s-s.

That is good for their employees, their stockholders, and opens up more funds which could be dedicated to research and development. Research and development brings better products to market. It also can contribute greatly to better, and lower prices on the products they sell to the masses.

Do ultra-high gas prices help poor people or do they kick them hard in the crotch? Does making Al Gore richer help poor people? Does forcing young people to pay exhorbitant prices for health insurance help those who are already hard-pressed to find gainful employment? No, no, and no.

There has been zero global-warming in 15 years and scientists now predict global-cooling well into the mid 21 century. You can't control the weather. We've had mini-ice ages, and many warm periods too. Weather comes and goes in cycles. If you believe your ancestors were apes, it's no stretch for you to believe other, equally ludicrous lies.

"...please inform us, oh enlightened one (yes you shrill), just how a smaller tax bill for the Koch Brothers translates into the benefit of ALL Americans." (Saxon...)

First, are they not part of ALL Americans, or does ALL Americans include everyone except them? You tell us how increasing their tax bill will help all Americans. I haven't been stirred into "hysteria" by anything. My current fervor comes from nothing other than current events, and recent history.

Ask JFK why he was so interested in lowering taxes for everyone. Hold a sceance or something, or simply listen to or watch some of his old speeches regarding lowering taxes. He was a democrat, right?

Does raising taxes on rich people who own major businesses raise or lower prices middle and lower class people have to pay for goods? Does it cause the businesses to higher more people? Owners of corporations have a mandated fiduciary responsibility to maximize profits.

I looked into right wing bloggery, and have found many persons with the same vehement, malicious ideas as one Rshrill. He lacks the courage to provide anything more than crowing about right wing appreciation of his 'wisdom', which is little more than swinish blather.

You deluded Tea Party 'patriots' have been duped, even as you defend the interests of the wealthy and wanna-be wealthy, and it is not anything new, this movement has been defending the rich for decades. How, please inform us, oh enlightened one (yes you shrill), just how a smaller tax bill for the Koch Brothers translates into the benefit of ALL Americans. The Kochs, who inherited their wealth to begin with, have spent near billions of dollars to fight Climate Change science, in support of their fossil fuel industry, and stirring you rabble wanna-bes into hysteria over the Affordable Health Care Act, when they simply could allow the 'train wreck' to actually go off the tracks, all for Big Business, 'free market' advocates. The original Tea Party opposed tax favors for wealthy British East India Tea Company, while today's version, at the behind the scenes behest of Kochs, opposes taxes on Big Business owners and capitalists, who seek to avoid, escape and defer taxes FOR THEMSELVES.

Correction: Cast not "your" pearls before swine. Underline the "swine".

Well, I'm into wisdom. Thou aren't. I recall the admonishment, in Matthew I believe it was, which said something like, and I paraphrase from memory, "Cast not you're pearls before swine...", It also said, "Do not give dogs what is sacred..."

Why are you ashamed to point us to the link? You announced it as though you were a proud parent.

Or perhaps you posted it to the John Birch Society Blog (although none of those exemplary citizens would even know how to use a computer).

"I was going to provide you with a link to the essay, including over 90 positive comments from my friends regarding it." Prove to me, SHRILL, that your essay was on a 'national' conservative blog, and that people actually liked it. If you wrote anything people liked, it would be some nazi militia type website.

Considering you're deaf, dumb and blind to the current uh, current, of the people's tide, you should know, that the American people are overwhelmingly against Obamacare. Not surprised you didn't know that.

Hence, one party decided to listen to the American people, whose combined voices will be received even louder, in the heretofore tone-deaf chamber, called the Senate.

Phone lines will melt, and heads will roll. The voices of the American people will be heard, one way or another.

Obamacare was passed with zero Republican votes. two Democrats from the House have already joined them in the defunding measure...reps from NC and Utah.

I have one viewpoint? Right, my own. How many do you have? Ding dong.

Crybaby Boehner..."Victory", yes for the do-nothing Congress, who victoriously voted for the 41st time, to repeal ObamaCare. I say repeal funding for Congress, in particular the House, a bunch of do-nothing swine.

So shrill ahd his essay picked up by a 'national conservative blog'. I am unimpressed, since conservative bloggery does not suggest any particular intelligence, only one simple(minded) viewpoint. He says he got a lot of nice complimentary comments from the conservative base he so jealously defends. He goes on to laud his Scottish ancestry, which is fine in and of itself. BUT, he can decry ancient history of the genocide of Native(Aboriginal) inhabitants of what became 'America'. Post your 'essay' here, only condense it, or guide us to the publication, so we can read it ourselves. Nah, will not happen, shrill has no courage.

The Affordable Care Act has been misrepresented by the GOP. 40 plus times! Because Big Business does not want it, and the GOP, in particular the do-nothing House no longer listens to "the American people", which is only a cynical phrase to them. Whispering business interests in the ears of Congress members should not be able to dominate the conversation, that is NOT Democracy (ha!)Not funny ha!, but sarcastic ha! What we have here is a Congress that are loyal servants to the Corporate Welfare system.

Wishing death to someone's children? I spew that every day? Try never, ever, in my entire life.

Why can't you lefties ever just speak the truth? Good grief, what a collection of pigs you are.

I was going to provide you with a link to the essay, including over 90 positive comments from my friends regarding it. But after reading your previous post, I'd rather just push you into a pile of hog slop. How you can stand and stomach your own company is a mystery I don't care to solve.

"I had my last essay picked up by a national conservative blog a couple of days ago." Details, links, please. I'm wondering if you write essays in a different style than you post on this forum. Otherwise, I find it hard to believe anybody would like what you write.

"May your children all die from debilitating, painful, and incurable diseases." I agree this is inappropriate but wonder why you in particular are outraged, SHRILL, since this is the type of venomous vitriol you spew every time you communicate. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black (excuse me, you would probably say 'colored').
