Letters To Ed :-)

"We've been duped by the Republicans. Kentucky Sen. and minority leader Mitch McConnell in a news conference one day after the election, stated that the single and sole goal of the GOP over the next two years is: to make Barack Obama a single term president. What an arrogant and obnoxious goal and statement. There agenda before the election was to get votes by promising that there first goals were jobs, the economy and health care reform. It seems their goal is to grab power, not to do things for the people that are in need of jobs and or unemployment pay, health care for those that don't have it, and the people losing their homes. This is the same party that wanted the auto plants and their suppliers to go out of business. We are just coming back from what they did to this country, and now we have them back to do the same things to our country again. What a mess the next two years is going to bring to this country. Talk about partisanship." Carl D. Leow Rogers Cit

Th Whigs died and the Republicans came into being, represented by a a gangly guy in a tall hat. He ran on this: "I'm going to end slavery." Guess what? He ended slavery. The Whigs were no more.

Ted Cruz, and other Tea Party members ran on doing away with O'commiecare. They voted to do precisely that recently. "Fellow" Republicans opposed them, in the House and in the Senate. Those Republicans which not only voted with Reid against them, but trashed them at every opportunity in the meejah, are going to be primaried. Pri-mare-eed!

Either the Republican Party will be true to the people who elected them, or the people will elect others. If that still doesn't work, the people will start a new party and bury the bastards who call themselves that which Lincoln called himself.

Many lefties say that the 3/5ths clause/compromise was pro-slavery, anti-black etc. As usual, they can't think beyond their own stupid schnozes.

The 3/5 clause was emphatically anti-slavery! Read what Frederick Douglass thought of that clause.

The South viewed slaves as property, so the North said, OK, we're going to count chairs, wagons, horses, ears of corn etc. and add representation for our "property" too. The compromise reached..."3/5"...effectively cut in half the south's pro-slavery representation. Is that pro-slavery, or anti-slavery? It's plainly, anti-slavery.

So, you've learned something. That's good. Spread the truth rather than falsehoods.

The KKK? That was a Democrat thing.

I don't think RS was in Alpena when the cement plant was coating everything and everyone with dust, and a mysterious foam used to come down the river from Fletcher's way. But to Republicans it smelled like money. That nasty EPA making the plant put in dust scrubbers. Evil Big Brother.

Why would I care what a total fool took seriously, total fool? Why?

I write what I write for others, not for you. I use you as a punching bag and a fool illustration.

The Triumph is running fine lately, off to Hubbard Lake. Hope there are no oil spills on the road or water.

That is NOT 'medicine', that is pure, unadulterated obstinacy. If you want any of us to take you seriously, start 'listening', instead of jerking your knee. Take your defense of Beck for instance, why would you present yourself as a reasonable person, and ignore factual statements. If one of MY 'heroes', take B.B. King for instance, turned out to be a pedophile or racist, my estimation of him would supercede my love of his music. Beck is not worth defending.

Just giving you two dumbasses your own medicine. Does it sound as stupid to you as it does to me?

Tough. Schtick in your ear.

Yes, protecting the Great Lakes is important. Shrill would rather make up phony sailor gibberish than attempt to understand what is really happening to our water. He is more in line with polluters and capitalist environmental destruction than he is about the actual environment he waxes nostalgic about when he is in his 'boaty', which must be the one in his bathtub with his rubber ducky. OUR Great Lakes is and should be above petty partisan babbling. We see by his adherence to Nazi posed propaganda and the filthy spewings of Glenn Beck, that he is beyond redemption.

RS has been reduced to feebly copying my shtick. That other gibberish he wrote yesterday is pretty much incomprehensible. I don't know what's happened to him recently, maybe a change in his Prozac.

Rshrill, why illustrate your ignorance. When your 'boaty' slogs through filthy tar sand 'oil', you will Henny Penny all the way to Benishek's office with indignant outrage. Or, is it orifice. Swine.

Oh great, free beach oil comming "sooner" than jesus can pack his bag.

The $24 billion Cruzade was not conservative. Cruz is a liberal spender of other peoples money.

So, which are you, "Chicken Little", "Henny Penny" or just plain "Paranoid"?

Nevermind all the political posturing, folks. ECONews has just released the first footage of the decaying Enbridge Energy, which brought us the Kalamazoo pipeline rupture, and it is NOT pretty. The pipeline travels under the Straits of Mackinac and is considered a grave threat to our Great Lakes. Please check out the documentary Sunken Hazard at NWF****/sunkenhazard, for 6 minutes of your valuable time. Love the Great Lakes and show it. Write or call your elected 'representatives'.

Add "sausage-making" to the list of things Jax knows nothing about.

JaxPP, sees infrastructure...infrastructure is his favorite...doesn't know where it comes from. Sometimes he calls it pork, unless it's Democrat pork.

Who's the hypocrite? Jaxohypocrite is the hypocrite.

McConnell's just one of several traitors to his own party and his own consituents. A Harry Reid hemorrhoid.

Posted 427 days ago.

So glad Republicans were able to slip $3 billion in pork spending for McConnell into the CR. You can't be a Republican without being a hypocrite.

We saw the damage to the economy with just 17 days of reduced government spending. I tried to explain to RS and Freeman what would happen to the economy if the $2 trillion in spending they wanted to pull out was pulled out. Maybe this Real World example will give them a clue how an economy based upon spending works.

Ahoy! 'Tis a wall o' gimpy glyphics! Bigoted against a white man o' the biz? Uncipherable scratch I say!

Break it up, break it down, and hoist it to the crows nest! Cut the ropes and let 'er fly!

Ship's surgeon(!)... cut off it's leg with yonder saw! It'll be wearin' a wooden stump by sunset!

You, unhappy greenleg! Bite this bisquit and scream to the winds!

The bilge is full men, she's goin' under! Been a pleasure a servin' with ya'! The last you'll see is the top o' me cap!

Abandon ship!
