Letters To Ed :-)

"We've been duped by the Republicans. Kentucky Sen. and minority leader Mitch McConnell in a news conference one day after the election, stated that the single and sole goal of the GOP over the next two years is: to make Barack Obama a single term president. What an arrogant and obnoxious goal and statement. There agenda before the election was to get votes by promising that there first goals were jobs, the economy and health care reform. It seems their goal is to grab power, not to do things for the people that are in need of jobs and or unemployment pay, health care for those that don't have it, and the people losing their homes. This is the same party that wanted the auto plants and their suppliers to go out of business. We are just coming back from what they did to this country, and now we have them back to do the same things to our country again. What a mess the next two years is going to bring to this country. Talk about partisanship." Carl D. Leow Rogers Cit

Democrats: "The Tea Party is dead!"

Democrats: "The Tea Party shut down the Government!"

Republicans: "Obama and Reid shut the Government down.

Democrats: "Impossible!"

Republicans: "How can a dead group shut anything down? By what mechanism? A dead group, who isn't even allowed to touch the switch, flicked that switch? Got it! Man, the lies are getting thicker by the day."

The House sent over a clean measure to fund some agencies yesterday including the VA and National Parks. Dems voted that down too.

I suppose if a democrat were mistreated at WalMart, they'd blame K-Mart? If they wanted to return an item bought at Home Depot, they'd take it to Goodwill and demand a refund? If one of them personally punched Johnny in the face would their neighbor still get blamed? Maybe, if they both lived in DC and big fat liar misrelated the tale.

Dishonesty. Refusing to negotiate.

Uh, ever heard of a thing called a hospital? Or are all things non-government strictly verboten? Obamacare should pay for all that, right Jaxopine?

I guess according to Obama, a law with his name on it is more important than anything and everything else. His pride is the most important thing though. How the civilized world ever made it this far is a mystery to you isn't it?

Yeah buddy. Go ahead and die on Obama Pride Ridge all you O' worshipers. It's all about him, his pride, and his intransigence. Feed the Borg! Borg uber alles!

NIH announced they cannot treat 200 people with cancer including 30 children because of the shut down. This is the GOP, condemns abortion on one hand, kills Americans with the other.

"Many free countries have lost their liberty, and ours may lose hers; but if she shall, be it my proudest plume, not that I was the last to desert, but that I never deserted her. I know that the great volcano at Washington, aroused and directed by the evil spirit that reigns there, is belching forth the lava of political corruption in a current broad and deep, which is sweeping with frightful velocity over the whole length and breadth of the land, bidding fair to leave unscathed no green spot or living thing; while on its bosom are riding, like demons on the waves of hell, the imps of that evil spirit, and fiendishly taunting all those who dare resist its destroying course with the hopelessness of their effort; and, knowing this, I cannot deny that all may be swept away. Broken by it I, too, may be; bow to it I never will. (Abraham Lincoln spoken in 1839)

By the way. One more thing. "Last time" we got Welfare Reform and picked up 2 Senate seats.

Aaahahahaha! Dumbass.

Besides, I'm not sure what my wife would say. But thanks for the offer.

Of course it is. My butt is higher than your brain.

Reach for the stars though, from where you reside, the stars ARE my butt.

Correction: Debate my butt. It'll kick your ass :-)

oh boy, that's funny.

HuronHippie

I think I know what you mean when you say you will "rebut with you butt", but I have to say, I'm not interested. I am for gay rights and all, but this is just a little bit over the top, for me, anyway.

Oh boy! Out comes the big guns! Aaaahahahaha!

"The death knell of the Tea Party?" (HHHHHHH)

Oh, you mean that extinct organization which singlehandedly shut down the government? That's the first time a dead group ever shut down something huh? :-)

Does stupidity at the lofty level you have perfected it, actually hurt?

OMG, my belly button could out-debate you losers.

I'll prove it. Say something else, and I'll let my belly button alone respond. If you respond back, I'll rebut with my butt.

Aaahahahaha. Deabate my butt. It'll kick you ass.

What a sad, sad, sad dog and pony show on the day the Affordable Health Care Act becomes law. I guess we can't try to repeal it for the 42nd time. I am so proud to see where my tax money is spent. And you Tea Partiers have the nerve to claim you are all about trying to reduce the decicit. What a joke. How much is this costing?

SHRILL, since you would have voted for Romney, you must also approve.

Best headline of the day, Washington Daily Times: House of Turds. The funny thing is, this was a very successful Republican Idea: Mitt Romney. The citizens of Massachusetts overwhelmingly approve.

We all know where this got them last time ... Ask Newt Gingrich. Bwahahaha.

What's that sound I hear? The death knell of the Tea Party? You don't say?

"The House of Representatives cannot only refuse, but they alone can propose, the supplies requisite for the support of government. . . . This power over the purse may, in fact, be regarded as the most complete and effectual weapon with which any constitution can arm the immediate representatives of the people, for obtaining a redress of every grievance, and for carrying into effect every just and salutary measure."

I criticize Republicans early often and late. You on the other hand are like a democrat Borg.

Given the choice between Romney and Obama, of course I'd vote for Romney. It's no secret that I preferred Cain, Gingrich or Perry.

Obeying the law doesn't make one pro-that-law does it? I'm against income taxes, and property taxes, yet I pay them both, because, uh, it's the law. I'm against a host of things this government does, supports and throws money at.

So I guess what "that makes me", is pragmatic and law abiding. "You can't always get what you want." Do I want to kill those who disagree with me? No.

Do you have any democrat criticism you'd like to share Mr. Borg? Your President, when in Illinois, voted to allow the killing of babies who survived abortions.

If you're against abortion, plainly say say so. I guess everything else I said in the post you over-reacted to was spot on, right?

You and Normurderer should really consider starting your own coven.

More than six in 10 Americans, or 63%, disapprove of the way the GOP is handling the budget impasse that could force the first government shutdown in 17 years, according to an ABC News/Washington Post poll.

Posted 305 days ago.

FYI, Romney was pro-abortion and you voted for him. What does that make you?
