Letters To Ed :-)

"We've been duped by the Republicans. Kentucky Sen. and minority leader Mitch McConnell in a news conference one day after the election, stated that the single and sole goal of the GOP over the next two years is: to make Barack Obama a single term president. What an arrogant and obnoxious goal and statement. There agenda before the election was to get votes by promising that there first goals were jobs, the economy and health care reform. It seems their goal is to grab power, not to do things for the people that are in need of jobs and or unemployment pay, health care for those that don't have it, and the people losing their homes. This is the same party that wanted the auto plants and their suppliers to go out of business. We are just coming back from what they did to this country, and now we have them back to do the same things to our country again. What a mess the next two years is going to bring to this country. Talk about partisanship." Carl D. Leow Rogers Cit

Of course, feeding hungry people would be "stumbling into something".

You've stumbled onto it. Obama is forcing people onto these programs on purpose. I've been saying that for years. It's the Cloward-Piven strategy, and he is a lifelong student of both them and Alinsky.

Why not? What would he be?

Have you smiled at least once during the past decade Normangry? When's the last time you were in a good mood? The weed doesn't seem to be doing it for you.

You could use a check-up from the neck up.

Wave the flag. Chant USA! USA! Send troops off to some forsaken place they do not belong, in harms way, and cut 40 Billion dollars from 'food stamps' and social welfare for American citizens. Including 99 Million that military families spend on base just to feed themselves, while soldiers do the bidding of Corporate America in Afghanistan, and 32 million dollars worth of the WIC program those families spend on goods at American bases. Send them off to WAR, and drop them like hot potatoes when they come back wounded mentally and physically. GOP policies that protect jealously Corporate American interests while their right to life is threatened at home. Jesus would be proud, and if he came back, he would NEVER be a 'christian'.

It'll kill all the coal jobs. That'll create lots more poor people. Skyrocketing energy prices will put another nail in the coffin of the struggling working poor. I don't think he has the ability to feel anyone's pain, especially those he purports to care about. He's crushing them the most.

"GOP Calls to Allow Unrestricted Coal Emissions to Kill One Million Americans"

There are barely more than one million direct and indirect coal jobs in total in the US, I'm sure your source is bogus as per usual. And the GOP was willing to kill 3 million auto industry jobs.

"Dershowitz said he is not at all surprised by Cruz’ career and always thought he’d see more of the man on the public stage after he left Harvard.'

“Without a doubt he is among the smartest students I’ve ever had… I’ve had great students but he has to be at the top of anyone’s short list, in terms of raw brain power,” Dershowitz said.'

'Dershowitz called Cruz a “terrific student.” He also said, “He was always very active in class, presenting a libertarian point of view. He didn’t strike me as a social conservative, more of a libertarian.”

“He had brilliant insights and he was clearly among the top students, as revealed by his class responses,” the famed lawyer noted."

The straw poll was at The Republican Leadership Conference on Mackinac Island.

“A rising tide lifts all boats” (JFK)

A straw poll on Mackinaw Island? Did that include free fudge samples? We remember Bachmann winning straw polls, Cain winning straw polls, they are as useless as color film at a GOP convention. We also remember RS's unabashed love for Rick Perry. Then, of course, Perry spoke, and the rest is history. Please, GOP, go as far right as possible, early election night calls are becoming a tradition.

Who in the world would spend time watching Canadian Cuban Cruz on TV? You'd be better off watching Honey Boo Boo, and it is much more educational than anything that would come out of Ted's mouth.

As far as JFK and tax cuts, when he suggested cuts the top tax rate was 91%, so obviously there was room to move. Now you have the likes of Romney paying 17%, and the Republicans want it lower than that.

Add JFK and taxes to the list of things RS knows nothing about.

Corker can put a cork in it, while catching a cab back to Tennessee. King can castrate himself (if that hasn't happened already), and Mitch McConnell should gather up all of his chins and cheer Cruz, Lee, and Paul on!

It's time for you career a-holes to hop on the train, get out of the train's way, or become juicy but boney charlaton shrapnel, underneath that train.

Were Reagan still around, his western boots would be aimed at many a Republican gonad, as goal posts across America saw scores of collapsed testicles sailing through the uprights.

Rand Paul kicked the crap out of Chris Christie in the Mackinac Island straw poll this weekend. Jeb Bush got his ass handed to him as well in that poll. I've got some wicked love and respect for Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, and Mike Lee.

Another Senate filibuster which includes, at a minimum, Ted Cruz, Mike Lee, and Rand Paul, will be immensely popular, just as the last one with Rand Paul was. C-Span will once again rise in the ratings as never before, and Twitter/Facebook will be ablaze with the voices of fellow patriots egging them all on.

Did anyone see the interview with Chris Wallace and ted Cruz? Cruz is simply unshakable and unflappable. Wallace tried his darndest to bait him into something. Nope :-)

Ya' reckon Chris Wallace was raised by Mike Wallace? I do. Ya' reckon Ted Cruz was raised by Rafael Cruz? Of course. Who do you trust more, Rafael Cruz or Mike Wallace?

Ted is doing precisely what the majority of Americans want him to do. If those squishy, sh*theads, commonly called RINO's, want to be on the wrong side of Americans, so be it. They can find work in the private sector, as their former constituents slap the*****out of them in the upcoming primaries. We need Reps and Senators who will stand up with the strength of their constituent's convictions, even if they have none of their own.

This circular firing squad can fire on each other as those like Cruz ascend above it. What a bunch of stupid, tone-deaf, automatons.

Protesting a corporate tax break! The opposite of the present day T.P. which exists solely to support American Corporateocracy. The latter day tea partiers were condemned by George Washington. The partiers cowardly dressed as Indians. Today's Tea Party is also a bunch of craven cowards, masquerading as patriots, when the goal is to support corporate (Koch) interests. These are actual facts.

By the way dinglebumpkin, the Boston tea Party was all about taxation without representation. That's it.

If they were indeed British subjects, they should have had every right, and every bit of representation which every other British subject, including those who'd lived in London all of their lives had. They did not. They had zero representation in the British Parliament.

Not only that, many of the "acts" passed by British Parliament were actually illegal under Britain's own Constitution.

Next time you feel like giving me a history lesson, first take one yourself.

Is there anything put forth by the left that you don't swallow hook, line and stinker?

We are all "taxed enough already" (TEA), except for those such as yourself who pay zero federal taxes. Had you some skin in the game yourself, you might sing a different tune. You are one of the takers, not one of the producers or contributors. You'll never be able to put yourself in a producer's shoes. So, how does taxing the heck out of rich folks help you?

Take your bloodthirsty guillotine and shove it up your a-s-s.

That is good for their employees, their stockholders, and opens up more funds which could be dedicated to research and development. Research and development brings better products to market. It also can contribute greatly to better, and lower prices on the products they sell to the masses.

Do ultra-high gas prices help poor people or do they kick them hard in the crotch? Does making Al Gore richer help poor people? Does forcing young people to pay exhorbitant prices for health insurance help those who are already hard-pressed to find gainful employment? No, no, and no.

There has been zero global-warming in 15 years and scientists now predict global-cooling well into the mid 21 century. You can't control the weather. We've had mini-ice ages, and many warm periods too. Weather comes and goes in cycles. If you believe your ancestors were apes, it's no stretch for you to believe other, equally ludicrous lies.
