Letters To Ed :-)

"We've been duped by the Republicans. Kentucky Sen. and minority leader Mitch McConnell in a news conference one day after the election, stated that the single and sole goal of the GOP over the next two years is: to make Barack Obama a single term president. What an arrogant and obnoxious goal and statement. There agenda before the election was to get votes by promising that there first goals were jobs, the economy and health care reform. It seems their goal is to grab power, not to do things for the people that are in need of jobs and or unemployment pay, health care for those that don't have it, and the people losing their homes. This is the same party that wanted the auto plants and their suppliers to go out of business. We are just coming back from what they did to this country, and now we have them back to do the same things to our country again. What a mess the next two years is going to bring to this country. Talk about partisanship." Carl D. Leow Rogers Cit

Tip O'Neil shut down the government 12 different times. Nobody called him a terrorist, anarchist, or any of the other host of hyperbolic names being used today, did they? Why not?

Me too.

I know I'm rooting for Cruz to get the GOP nomination.

Correction: NS explanation was not stupid. I sincerely apologize for saying that it was. It simply doesn't explain the BS poll Normucus was celebrating.

I am looking forward to the vulnerable Senators' words about how they really, really, wanted for Harry to compromise, but he wouldn't bring anything up for a legitimate vote.

"Blame Harry, not me! I really wanted to vote in the interest of my constituents but Harry wouldn't let me." Uh huh. Tell him that, you soggy slugs. We don't want to hear it. Neither do your past tense, plural possessive, voters. Your voters' wishes have been thwarted. So will you and your colleagues'.

It is not possible to "gotcha" Ted Cruz. It just isn't. Why is that? Because he has thought things through. If Democrats thought things through, they might see that their Utopia is actually Detroit. Does anyone want to live in Detroit? Does anyone want to even drive through Detroit? Nope. Eminem's childhood home is now for sale: $1.00. Any takers?

The only time we ever go anywhere near Detroit is if our airplane has to land at the major airport there so we can get on a small "puddle jumper" prop-job to carry us to Alpena. The cities north of Detroit and Flint are nothing whatsoever like Detroit. Detroit and Flint have been sh*tholes for years. It is what Democrat monopolies lead to.

If you want to live in a nice area, don't ever vote for Democrats. They are Union, pervert, and couch potato whores.

Should Harry Reid call the Senate back? Yes. But when has Harry Reid ever done the right thing?

Is it fair to exempt Congress from paying for their own Obamacare, give waivers to thousand of others, give large and small business extensions for another year, but make individual Americans the only ones subject to the law this year? Nope. Not in the least.

Will Republicans get blamed? Nope. And every time Reid or Obama accuse Republicans of shutting the Gov. down, the American people will say something like, enough of your lies already! Try saying something that isn't a lie for once! Lies are all we've had from your stupid******since you took office!

This is going to be sweet. I dare Obama to veto it. I also dare Reid to pocket veto it.

So, was Ted Cruz "wasting his time"? Nope! He forced the unity on this, because the American people rallied behind him and his polling leapfrogged over all other potential Republican nominees for 2016. That had to have been noticed.

Now Obama will be pulling for Obama and who else? How many other democrats other than Reid, Schumer, Durbin etc. will want to be crucified on Obama's splintered cross here? Who cares? If they want to shut Gov. down, shut it down already.

It's quite telling how the democrats keep making speeches about the dire consequences which will ensue if the Government shuts down. I hope other democrats are listening to those speeches because they are the only ones who need to hear it. The Republicans don't even have the power to shut the Gov. down. That's all on Reid and Obama.

The American people have an innate sense of fairness.

They won't be laughing for long. It's forced laughter, engulfed in fear. Wrapped in the realization that they will be out of power for quite a while, while America rebuilds herself, at the behest of American Patriots, and for the benefit of all.

People will feel it when America takes off again. Democrats will jump ship. Others will mature and turn their backs on Democrats.

Democrats have been drooling for the power that Obamacare would give them over every aspect of our lives. They cannot be allowed to have or wield that power. Instead, they will die at the foot of Obamacare mountain and get buried beneath it.

Someone should start playing taps, right now. I've already started humming it.

Are we not each individually a media outlet? Yeppers! Light and heavy steppers, and preppers. Heck, we've even got a special room for lepers.

Keep on speaking out.

The oft repeated culling of the herd, while enslaving the rest, save the oligarchy. It's simply Marxism revisited.

When will brain-gifted people, i.e., everyone, finally bury this genocidal ideology? We've a few genocidal ideologies competing for dominance and prominence currently. In addition to the obvious sprinting rather than creeping Marxism, we've abortion on demand, assisted suicide, the gang murder culture, serial killers, sexual killers, and politicians trying to take away our second amendment rights so we are more easily killed by killers, type killers. It's amazing some of us manage to stay alive.

Do we even want to stay alive? I do. We do that by making our voices heard, and it isn't easy. It's simple but not easy. Winning hearts and minds while not possessing the most direct pathway to those hearts and minds, which is the media we are all bombarded with, is a toughy for sure. How many media outlets are there? How many are here?

Which way do I turn my head if I want to see "radicals"? When it comes to turning one's head, there are but two choices, to the right or to the left. Reagan or Obama? Cruz or Reid? Given the choices, I'd have to go with...stay tuned.

You've heard that the pen is mightier than the sword. That just means that the pen has the power to inspire many swords. The power to inspire cannon and coin as well.

The media, the democrats, public school teachers, tenured professors, government bureaucrats, and other left wing missionaries/prosyletizers, want you to believe that the desire to adhere to the U.S. Constitution, and have our country spend within it's means, is wacko bird territory. Is it? Or is it the real wacko birds who are calling the sensible citizens names for effect? I vote B.

I'd call it experiments in group-think technology. The attempt to sway the masses into self-inflicted death, at the hands of the prevailing power.

Here's the thing "they" don't realize. Our Constitution is, or should be, mainstream. If you are to the right of the Constitution, that would be far right wing. To be a strict constructionist though, is not far right wing. It is simply, adhering to what we should be adhering to. In other words middle of the road. Anything short of strict constructionism, is leftwing.

You are either to the right or to the left of the Constitution. The Constitution itself, is middle of the road. The norm. The should-be, status quo. However, we are currently so far to the left of that document, it's ridiculous.

That is what the Tea Party is bothered by. That is what conservatives are bothered by. If you are a conservative, but not a Tea Party person, you are simply playing with terms, and can't see the forest for the fog.

Lets suppose you are actually an inhabitant of planet Earth...more specifically, the USA, and you've heard, ad nauseum about the O' administration's persecution of Tea Party related groups and individuals via IRS and other Government agencies.

Let's also suppose that someone calls you and asks you to comment on whether or not you are a Tea Party supporter or member. What would you say? Yes? Sure, if you are a glutton for punishment.

"Hey love of my life, how's about you paint a target on my back in hi-glow, reflective paint, then I'll paint one on yours." Does that sound logical, feasible, or even possible?

Your tortured explanation is stupid. Norm's celebration of Salon's poll is even more stupid. But we expect stupid from him. What's your excuse?

Statistics are just trained numbers that can jump through any hoop the customer requests. I studied statistical analysis in my senior year of college and learned that any study based on statistics needs a second look. It's the variables, you see? The variables can be adjusted or skewed to reflect desired outcomes. This is what polling companies do. The customer orders a product and the polling company designs the “science.” to produce the desired results. Questioners based on known regional and “target group” data are formed to use the anthropological expectations of the answers. The rest are simply numbers gymnastics to complete the contract and deliver the desired product. Most people have no idea how statistical analysis works – or even exists so they believe the results simply based in that it is “science.” In other words – its just another prod used to herd people in a desired direction.

Amos, you are missing the bigger picture. Its not just the republicans it's the democrats too. Both parties are packed with petty, vengeful, players in a political theater and you are the audience. Like a game show or a wrestling match you are played to and prodded to support one party agenda or another. Each camp has its scripted players – you do understand this right? The party (each party) releases the talking points based on polling data to elicit a response from a targeted audience. Good people who want nothing more than to raise their families and live their lives are herded into political camps and preyed upon to support one parasite or the other.

At first glance this seems to a joke but wait a second and think about it. Even with zero chance of winning the Whitehouse getting on the ballot is no problem with this pair. It is no coincidence that every New York and New Jersey successful politician has risked all to appear on Stern's show for his support. From Koch to Como to Christy and others have benefited greatly over the years from Sterns steerage of his mega fan base towards their elections. A serious effort by Stern ad Ventura would draw millions of voters to the polls.

Howard Stern & Jesse Ventura have announced a 2016 bid for the Whitehouse. Now THIS is interesting! Stern who is a Zionist libertarian and a proven mega fund raiser with a fan base in the millions and Ventura who is a constitutionalist conspiracy theorist who served as governor of Minnesota make a viable pair that could draw a heck of a lot of voters into the polls in 2016. Stern will announce his partnership with Ventura on Monday's radio show.
