Letters To Ed :-)

"We've been duped by the Republicans. Kentucky Sen. and minority leader Mitch McConnell in a news conference one day after the election, stated that the single and sole goal of the GOP over the next two years is: to make Barack Obama a single term president. What an arrogant and obnoxious goal and statement. There agenda before the election was to get votes by promising that there first goals were jobs, the economy and health care reform. It seems their goal is to grab power, not to do things for the people that are in need of jobs and or unemployment pay, health care for those that don't have it, and the people losing their homes. This is the same party that wanted the auto plants and their suppliers to go out of business. We are just coming back from what they did to this country, and now we have them back to do the same things to our country again. What a mess the next two years is going to bring to this country. Talk about partisanship." Carl D. Leow Rogers Cit

The talking points coming out of the "loud left" are priceless.

When Waxman was investigating the Valerie Plame "outing" the left was demanding heads...for a retired operative that had been outed LOOOONNNNGGG before.

Come on, really? You blame Issa but he is after answers, (Just like Waxman was), to questions that the administration and the suspect agencies will not answer. In short, OMG!!!!!, he's doing his EFFEN' J-O-B

Knock knock, anyone home?

The point is not Obama, he's usually insulated and according to most sources, is just plain clueless as to what is happening in his administration.

The point is the IRS's actions.

Crimes committed by the government against citizens exercising their rights have to be investigated.

When are you going to stop applying a double standard?

If Obama has done something illegal, like Nixon, he should be impeached. You seem to have some info about it, call Issa.

Posted 402 days ago.

Still comparing Watergate to Lois Lerner. Unbelievable.

Posted 402 days ago.

Yes, that's the same thing. Hyperbole much?

Posted 402 days ago.

Freeman

I guess then, it was OK for the "plumbers" to break into the DNC headquarters, Nixon use tax information to target political opponents?

Posted 402 days ago.

And I've pointed out Fact-Free putting words into my mouth in the past, just another example here.

Posted 402 days ago.

I said if Lois Lerner has committed a crime she should be prosecuted. You are saying Lois Lerner is the government. Hyperbole much?

Freeman

I guess we have our answer.

Jaxspp believes that the IRS can commit a felony, conspire with other agencies and harass American citizens based upon the content of their speech or beliefs.

Freeman

I want to be clear, it is your position that the IRS can commit a felony to suppress speech that you disagree with. Jaxspp?

Posted 402 days ago.

Free, your paranoia is becoming as bad as RS's.

Posted 402 days ago.

Freeman

So it's OK for the government to commit felonious acts to suppress speech?

Posted 402 days ago.

Freeman

I freely admit that I have been hypocritical in the past. Won't get an argument from me. Nice thing about being open minded is that you can change your mind.

What you can't change is stupidity and you, jaxspp, have shown an abundance here.

OK for the government to commit felonious acts to suppress speech?

That is your position.

"To minimize the issue is poor citizenship at best and just plain ignorance at worst."

Issa is stuck up your rear big time.

Posted 402 days ago.

Again, hyperbole much?

Posted 402 days ago.

Freeman

...Got it. Stupid much?

Posted 402 days ago.

And here comes Free driving in on his waaaahbulance. Wants people to stop pointing out that he's a hypocrite. Wants people to be as phonily outraged as he is. Posts his Fact-Free posts, then leaves. Sorry, Fact-Free, the Real World has no time for your living room platitudes.

Nixon conspired to coverup the Watergate break in. That was a crime.

Lois Lerner leaked confidential taxpayer information to the head of the Federal Elections Commission, (who called her out on it, by the way), in an attempt to initiate and investigation on conservative groups. She, based upon her email correspondence, made a concerted effort to target conservative groups. She, and others at her direction, delayed for YEARS, in some cases, the approval or denial of applications.

I don't care who it is, the government has no right to do that.

To minimize the issue is poor citizenship at best and just plain ignorance at worst.

Who's next? Latino groups? Native American groups? Would the crime be more of a crime in your eyes if the IRS targeted Pro-Choice groups?

You'd better pull your head out of your backside.

Freeman

Why do you think Lois took the 5th? You may not like government oversight, feel that the feds can do whatever they think best, (as long as your political affiliation is in power), but they are not above the law.

Where, exactly, did you go to school? Romper room?

Jax - "..Free compares the Tea Baggers not getting tax exempt status to Watergate. Got it. Hyperbole much?.."

That statement is plain stupid.

I appears that Jaxspp is completely fine with a government agency harassing citizens, (at least those citizens who he disagrees with), making attempts with another agency to conspire to harass them and to commit felonies in doing so.

You just aren't very bright are you jaxspp?
