Letters To Ed :-)

"We've been duped by the Republicans. Kentucky Sen. and minority leader Mitch McConnell in a news conference one day after the election, stated that the single and sole goal of the GOP over the next two years is: to make Barack Obama a single term president. What an arrogant and obnoxious goal and statement. There agenda before the election was to get votes by promising that there first goals were jobs, the economy and health care reform. It seems their goal is to grab power, not to do things for the people that are in need of jobs and or unemployment pay, health care for those that don't have it, and the people losing their homes. This is the same party that wanted the auto plants and their suppliers to go out of business. We are just coming back from what they did to this country, and now we have them back to do the same things to our country again. What a mess the next two years is going to bring to this country. Talk about partisanship." Carl D. Leow Rogers Cit

Add Global Warming to the list of topics RS knows nothing about.

“The overwhelming evidence is that the Southern Ocean is warming,” said Jinlun Zhang, a University of Washington scientist, studying Antarctic ice. “Why would sea ice be increasing? Although the rate of increase is small, it is a puzzle to scientists.”

In a new study in the Journal of Climate, Zhang finds both strengthening and converging winds around the South Pole can explain 80 percent of the increase in ice volume which has been observed.

“The polar vortex that swirls around the South Pole is not just stronger than it was when satellite records began in the 1970s, it has more convergence, meaning it shoves the sea ice together to cause ridging,” the study’s press release explains. “Stronger winds also drive ice faster, which leads to still more deformation and ridging. This creates thicker, longer-lasting ice, while exposing surrounding water and thin ice to the blistering cold winds that cause more ice growth.”

Someone threw the 15 year bait to RS, he swallowed it whole. The RS biography will be entitled "Gullible's Travels".

However, if you stand on one foot, part your hair on the other side, and think like a polar bear dropping...

The polar ice-cap has grown exponentially recently. Your IQ has diminished by the same exponent.

The left, where common sense died decades ago. What should we call that, Cerebral Shrinking? Idiotitis? Fool Syndrome?

You can't even make a darn website, oh, but you can control the climate. F*ck off.

Your parade of stupid lies has worn as thin as a microtome can slice it.

"So what is causing the surface temperature slowdown? Scientists point to multiple causes, including more heat going into the deeper oceans, a recent minimum in solar activity, and more volcanic activity. All of these phenomena could contribute to a temporary slowdown in global warming. "It may very well be that the best explanation is that there is some combination of things that has led to this slowdown," explains Anthony Broccoli, a climate researcher at Rutgers University."

"This has occurred despite the fact that claiming that global warming has "paused" is deeply misleading. The IPCC explained as much in its just-released report, where it noted that although the rate of warming is somewhat smaller over the last 15 years, selectively seizing on this period, from 1998-2012, basically represents a case of bad statistics.

After all, the year 1998 was a record temperature year, due to a strong El Niño. So by making it the first year of an analysis you're stacking the deck. "If you shift just 2 years earlier, so use 1996-2010 instead of 1998-2012, the trend is 0.14 C per decade, so slightly greater than the long-term trend," explains Drew Shindell, a climate scientist at NASA who was heavily involved in producing the IPCC report. This is why climate scientists generally don't seize on 15 year periods and make a big thing about them."

RS: They Blinded Me With Science

Excuse me professor, but I must ask the obvious question. Who measure the last highest temperature 44 thousand years ago?

You dumbasses are really becoming parodies of yourselves.

Google this: No global warming in the last 15 years.

Arctic temperatures the highest they have been in 44000 years. Seems like good science to me but the anti-science deniers/liars will refuse to believe, even though they believe a man can part the Red Sea. ***********nbcnews****/science/arctic-temperatures-44-000-year-high-8C11462851

"Obama"

He lies in your ears He lies in your eyes Tis all that he is

A collection of lies

RS doesn't strike nerves, he strikes funny bones.

If I was arguing his point, and thank goodness I'm not, I would post examples where Romney would have won had it not been for documented voter fraud. Problem with proving RS's point is there aren't any examples. And those examples most published have all been debunked by fact checkers.

NOW we have another conservative hero, Rick (Sploodge) Santorum making a foray into film, and while doing so says "Movie theater screens are the playground of the Devil". Yikes! These people cannot get any wackier. Another 'hero' of rshrill, along with Nazi afficionado Glenn Beck, and old Dominionist Ted Cruz.

My "own people" say that because constituents are being cheated by fraud, and they are right, just as I am right.

A study of something that can not be detected? Miraculous. Apparently all they "studied" were their navels.

Courts legislate from the bench all the time. That's another area where your side has a heavy advantage...the courts. Yet your side still has to cheat.

Are you still jazzed about all the O'commiecare lies? I had a lefty actually attempt to answer my challenge the other day, which was: Name one true thing Obama said about O'commiecare while shoving it down our throats. That person said: "Kids" can stay on their parent's policy until they're 26.

The response to that of course was, no they can't, millions of parents are losing their policies, so there isn't a policy for them to stay on. Just being dropped, specifically because of O'commiecare. Which highlights yet another one of Obama's lies.

It's not me speaking, it's your own people:

"In December, Republican strategist Scott Tranter acknowledged that “a lot of us are campaign professionals and we want to do everything we can to help our sides. Sometimes we think that’s voter ID, sometimes we think that’s longer lines, whatever it may be.” The Romney campaign’s Wisconsin co-chair, state Sen. Alberta Darling (R), also suggested that the Massachusetts governor would have won Wisconsin but for the fact that the state’s voter ID law was declared unconstitutional by a state court."

Although the laws’ supporters claim that they are necessary to combat in-person voter fraud, a voter is more likely to be struck by lightning than to commit fraud. One study found that 0.0002 percent of votes are the product of such fraud'

You can stay on the bottom of my boot Normanincompoop.

"If you like your healthcare plan, you can keep your healthcare plan. Period." (Barack O'liar)

Millions of people are getting cancellation notices, currently. Millions of them. Period.

Question: How many Republicans voted for that big lie?

Answer: Zero.
