Letters To Ed :-)

"We've been duped by the Republicans. Kentucky Sen. and minority leader Mitch McConnell in a news conference one day after the election, stated that the single and sole goal of the GOP over the next two years is: to make Barack Obama a single term president. What an arrogant and obnoxious goal and statement. There agenda before the election was to get votes by promising that there first goals were jobs, the economy and health care reform. It seems their goal is to grab power, not to do things for the people that are in need of jobs and or unemployment pay, health care for those that don't have it, and the people losing their homes. This is the same party that wanted the auto plants and their suppliers to go out of business. We are just coming back from what they did to this country, and now we have them back to do the same things to our country again. What a mess the next two years is going to bring to this country. Talk about partisanship." Carl D. Leow Rogers Cit

So Chrysler, Ford and GM all produce red Yugos.

You get 4 options.

The "bronze" option includes a "windscreen". The "silver" option includes the above plus a spare tire. The "gold" option includes, yep, the above AND a steering wheel. The "platinum" option, reserved for unions, government workers and all other beneficiaries of the president's good will, is a fully loaded Cadillac manufactured in Canada.

The point, however is not missed. This roll out is a huge embarrassment to our nation.

It's akin to Detroit rolling out a Yugo in only one color, red.

I think what they miss in that article is the fact that our intelligence apparatus has been an evolving entity since 1942. It did not plop on the American scene in 2010. (Plop as referenced in the dropping of fecal matter on hard ground).

Now don't anyone say a word about any of this. Just push it off the page. Well, I'm pushing it back on the page. Deal with it. Comment on it. Stop ignoring it with around the edges BS!

"How is it possible that the United States government can build, implement and manage the most intricate surveillance apparatus in the world, using a complex array of computers to amass data on people not just in the U.S., but all across the world, yet fail miserably on a less complex health care portal, exchange or web site? Put aside everything you’ve been told by the government and the media, both proponents and opponents of the ACA, and think for yourself. Does this make sense? If you are being truly intellectually honest, you must conclude that it does not."

This article concludes that the failed website portals are by design, while the underlying law releases it's true villainy. It makes perfect Marxist sense. Whether you like candafreepress or not, you have to conclude that what is said here, the questions asked, and the conclusions reached, are very difficult to disagree with.

So, Medicaid is broke.

Medicare is broke.

Social Security Trust fund is full of T-bills.

The federal government is taking in RECORD LEVELS OF REVENUE and they still operate at over a half trillion dollar budget deficit.

And, according to jaxspp, we need not worry.

I'm convinced.

If I remember correctly, Clinton moved to the center and worked with the republicans to forge those budgets.

Oops, said budget. Dems don't like that word nowadays.

The statement was, of course, is misleading.

They were not being investigated for criminal activity but activity that violates their tax exempt status.

You brought up the NAACP investigation and attributed it to Bush. If you do your homework, you'll find that Bush had nothing to do with it. Again, I'll point you to the Inspector General's report.

"They [democrats] have been wrong on their fiscal policy. "

Left surpluses as far as the eye could see in 2000. So much so it was the main focus of the presidential debates: What to do with the surpluses. Al Gore wanted to put them in a lockbox and was ridiculed. Bush, of course, wanted tax cuts to benefit mainly the wealthy.

We see the results of the GOP fiscal policy.

That was a quote from the President of the NAACP after the investigation into their political activities was dropped.

Freeman: Your post: "It has never been a crime or violation for American citizens to criticize government policies and it is not a crime or a violation to do so now."...."

UNLESS, OF COURSE, YOU HAVE "TEA PARTY" IN YOUR NAME.

Five principles that Michigan set as condition to the Medicaid expansion.

As the federal funding decreases in 2014 the savings have to be demonstrable or Michigan will opt out.

We can be proud that we [Michigan] are not just expanding an already broken system but implementing structural changes to Medicaid that could fundamentally change it.

Thanks Gov.

"People like our friend jaxspp hare quite content to let Uncle Sam grow as big and as fat as he likes, do what ever he wishes and make excuses for him when he ***** in his face and ***** on the floor. "

And the President of Putting Words into Other People's Mouths has spoken.

Several studies will be conducted over the next several years to determine how well Medicaid expansion is controlling costs and improving quality. For example, a new Health Care Cost and Quality Advisory Committee will be created to promote quality and transparency of information.

n a September 25 report in the New England Journal of Medicine, Ayanian said Snyder's innovative approach — that required working with both political parties to garner enough votes for passage — featured five core principles:

The state must achieve sufficient savings to offset its contributions for Medicaid expansion when federal funding drops from 100 percent to 95 percent in 2014, and then phasing down to 90 percent by 2021.

Michigan will develop financial incentives, including co-payments, for the new Medicaid enrollees to control their use of health care and to maintain healthy behaviors.

New Medicaid beneficiaries will be enrolled directly into the state's Medicaid HMOs rather than fee-for-service Medicaid.

New enrollees will be guaranteed access to primary care and preventive services. They also will be offered to sign advance directives for end-of-life care.

Get it right hville.

The felony occurs when Lois Lerner shares confidential tax information with the Federal Elections Commission for the purpose of their scrutinizing a group or a citizen.

How can you call something a "witch hunt" if you don't even know what the issue is?
