Letters To Ed :-)

"We've been duped by the Republicans. Kentucky Sen. and minority leader Mitch McConnell in a news conference one day after the election, stated that the single and sole goal of the GOP over the next two years is: to make Barack Obama a single term president. What an arrogant and obnoxious goal and statement. There agenda before the election was to get votes by promising that there first goals were jobs, the economy and health care reform. It seems their goal is to grab power, not to do things for the people that are in need of jobs and or unemployment pay, health care for those that don't have it, and the people losing their homes. This is the same party that wanted the auto plants and their suppliers to go out of business. We are just coming back from what they did to this country, and now we have them back to do the same things to our country again. What a mess the next two years is going to bring to this country. Talk about partisanship." Carl D. Leow Rogers Cit

My eyes are fine jaxilliterate. If you'll notice, that was direct quote from my Canadian friend, directed to that doorknob known as hvvillain the supercommie. Ok, duncedom?

The NYT says Obama "misspoke". Yeah about 20 times.

He mistruthed. He dissed-honesty He defrauded. It was an ongoing series of repeated, in your face lies, which will go down in history's book of infamy. Had he told those same lies in a court of law, he would now be in jail for perjury.

He should now be forever referred to as "Liar McLiarson".

RS:"Why a 100% solution for a 10% problem?" Republicans have proposed a 1000 % solution for a .0000001% problem, voter fraud, but RS is all over that one. Worth repeating: You cannot be a Republican without being a hypocrite.

Posted 269 days ago.

Funny to see Fact Free back. Whenever someone posts something he disagrees with he asks them not to post. I understand Whineville perfectly.

And RS gets his eye injured by surgery and says why fix a system that's not broken. You can't make this stuff up.

Free? That will be a term of the past. Free (?) Look at it. Feel it. Say goodbye to it. Write a letter to it. Pen a memoir about it.

Desire the fruits of your own labor? Die. Who are you to want anything?! Who are you to have your own dreams?! You are a cog in a machine! Deal with it!

Well, once again, I am a child of the Living God. My rights are inborn. They exist by Divine right, Divine blessing, and Divine design. Try and subjugate those rights and you upset that which is a given. That which is self-evident. You will fail every time. Deal with that.

Don't believe in God? Sorry, though you are free to be an atheist, your non-belief is not causative. God's foreknowledge is not causative either. He has given us freewill. Those who usurp that freewill, will not long last. Members of his creation formed our Constitution. It's inherent brilliance allowed us to leapfrog over other countries which had existed continuously for thousands of years.

We are now going backwards. It ain't progressive, it's regressive. It's foolish and suicidal.

Ideology uber alles. Over common sense, over actual, quantifiable, results...over everything. Regardless of who or how many people are hurt by it, "we must complete our mission...we must complete our mission". That mission, were we still living in the 1800's, would be "progressive". As it is now, it's horribly regressive. Read the histories of communist and Socialist countries. Look at North Korea.

They (modern libs) pretend that history does not exist. That these ideas have not already been tried and found wanting...bigtime! That a hundred million people did not die as a direct result of their ideas.

Collectivism, statism, and central planning always results in genocide. Why? Because it takes a monster to place a collective above any and every individual, and it must be a monster to assume control of such a system. A human with a heart can't do it...won't do it.

The individual loses every time. Criticize the collective power? Die. Demand your own rights? Die.

Posted 272 days ago.

In the Real World, which has nothing to do with RS and Freeman, Minute Clinics are being built everywhere, coast to coast. This is because millions of people who depended upon ERs for their medical care will now be able to go to a normal doctor.

RS and Freeman: outside looking in.

Posted 272 days ago.

I used to just think RS was evil. He hated everyone who was a non-white Republican. Then I realized it was because of his paranoid schizophrenia. But even beyond that, there is some form of autism. What 8is it, you are not telling us RS?

Posted 272 days ago.

Bottom line here there are two whiney Republicans here who don't get the big picture. Millions of Americans are better off. Millions. But Fact freeman and Rain Man RS don't understand the system yet, so they are floundering. They will get it, and realize America is catching up with the rest of the world.

If you don't have a doctor, good luck finding one, or dumping him for another. Waiting lists galore, and 5 hour minimums for emergency.

Although I can't conclusively say I was injured by an overworked surgeon who scheduled me in on the latest hour of a Friday evening surgery which was delayed and delayed. Was it a backlog? Overworked? Overbooked schedule? All I know is, he punctured my optic nerve. It's permanent. And we don't do lawsuits here. So I'm not a big fan of our OHIP here.

My issue, probably...maybe like yours...why fix something that is not broken? Why a 100% solution for a 10% problem? Of the 85% US citizens with private healthcare, 87% are happy with what they've got. For the other 10 - 15 %... yeah! By all means... fix that problem and get them covered, either with a Medicaid and or Medicare overhaul. But 100%...that's sabotage. But I think you already knew that." Hville: I have a friend in Canada whom I respect immensely. He is one of the most intelligent people I've ever met. He's a little older than I, and very well-read. We talk about many political things on bothe sides of the border. He also keeps up on American politics, and has looked up to America his entire life, yet is still very patriotic to his own native country. Here is what I asked him less than an hour ago, and here is verbatim response.

"Are you happy with your Canadian healthcare system? Been meaning to ask you that." (RS)

"The latest here in Ontario is that the incredibly corrupt Wynn government... corrupt to the tune of 1.1B for gas plant cancellations...the latest is that the Ontario Health Insurance Plan will NOT be covering cataract surgery.

OHIP has declined over the last 20 years. 20 years ago I got back scans within days...two years ago, I waited over a year for an MRI for my back, and I only got in because of a cancellation.

Stop pretending moderate Republican squishes want to do the right thing.

Republican poll numbers are down because their own base are mad at them, not because they are mad at the conservatives like Cruz. They love Cruz...it's the moderates they want to drop-kick.

Guess who is plowing cash into Lindsey Graham's campaign? George Soros. You may be awake, but you're still not quite lucid. If you're a moderate, go ahead and be a democrat...what's the difference?

The Republican controlled House tried to defund O'commiecare. Ted Cruz filibustered it to require the Senate to garner 60 votes to defeat the defunding. He had about 14 other Republican Senators on his side. The old guard moderates voted with Reid and co. allowing Reid to table the defunding measure. They also bad-mouthed both he and the entire Tea Party on national television repeatedly. Peter King (house) and John McCain (senate) were the most vocal.

Had the Senate stood with the House and with Cruz and company, O' would have had to veto it, all by his lonesome.

Moderates stood with Reid, Schumer, Pelosi, Durbin and Obama etc in shutting down the government so that Tea Party Republicans would get blamed. Who "gets blamed" though has no bearing whatsoever on what is true. You who hate being lied to, stop slurping up lie after lie with such a *****y straw. Stop applauding lukewarm traitors. Stop pretending democrats want to do the right thing.

Millions more Americans will have the plans of their choice canceled in months to come,” says Senator Johnson in a statement."

"Americans want the freedom to choose their own plans and want to be in control of their own health care. They don’t want Obamacare destroying what they have and what they like. They don’t want their personal choices regarding their health plans and their families’ health plans canceled by Obamacare."

"The ‘If You Like Your Health Plan, You Can Keep It Act’ will amend the law to make Obamacare live up to the promises of the politicians who sold the plan to the American public. I will file the bill in the coming week and hope to garner support from fellow Senators of both parties who truly want to make sure President Obama honors his promise that every American has the freedom to keep his or her own health care plan."
