Letters To Ed :-)

"We've been duped by the Republicans. Kentucky Sen. and minority leader Mitch McConnell in a news conference one day after the election, stated that the single and sole goal of the GOP over the next two years is: to make Barack Obama a single term president. What an arrogant and obnoxious goal and statement. There agenda before the election was to get votes by promising that there first goals were jobs, the economy and health care reform. It seems their goal is to grab power, not to do things for the people that are in need of jobs and or unemployment pay, health care for those that don't have it, and the people losing their homes. This is the same party that wanted the auto plants and their suppliers to go out of business. We are just coming back from what they did to this country, and now we have them back to do the same things to our country again. What a mess the next two years is going to bring to this country. Talk about partisanship." Carl D. Leow Rogers Cit

Republicans, after trying to destroy the economy with their shut down, call something the destroy the economy act? The irony is astounding.

I know you guys, would have given up on Social Security after 35 days. Virtually nothing was in place when Medicare was expanded. You would have given it up after 35 days. You guys said FMLA would fail. You guys said ADA would fail. Your track record of predictions after the Romney fiasco is nil. Make it about me, deflection is all you have.

I mean, geesh, this just can't get any worse for the democrats and the country as a whole.

Hey geniuses, take a look at your auto policy some time. Evaluate the risk involved and ask yourself if government regulation regarding state monopolies in the health insurance market aren't the real problem.

You just can't go through life without thinking things through.

Almost feel sorry for you. (Not you amos, could care less).

jax - "It has been in place 35 days. There are already amendments being proposed. This is a field day for Chicken Littles, to be sure..."

Sen. Enzie identified the problem with the "grandfathered" plans in 2010 after HHS wrote the regulation and authored a bill to fix it. OOPS - wrong again jax-hole.

Now Sen. Mary Landrieau has magically identified the same problem 3 years later and is authoring a bill to fix it with, I might add, a couple of democratic co-sponsors.

Why don't you just admit that the republicans were spot on regarding the RUSH IT THROUGH ON CHRISTMAS EVE AND DESTROY THE U.S. ECONOMY ACT.

It's hilarious to see these people yabba-noba-dabba around the issues and resort to tired talking points to justify this mess.

Time to wake up, put your adult pants on and go back to the drawing board.

You know, once again, the left is completely missing the point on this issue.

The model is broken, it has flaws that will not be fixable without stinging mandatory penalties for young people and drastically penalizing healthcare providers, eg. doctors and hospitals.

We are now helping millions, (no where near that number even signed up for Medicaid), to get the worst healthcare policy in the industrialized world. Medicaid is pitiful and many doctors and hospitals won't even accept medicaid patients.

Wow, out of the pan and into the fire. "Just calling it insurance doesn't mean it's insurance"

Jax better look at who is signing up for ACA, overwhelmingly Medicaid qualifiers.

Talk about sub-standard policies, jax, if you were to pay attention and speak from a basis grounded in fact, you'd "cipher" the problem we have here.

Of course you would never do that because you'd then have to admit that I was right from the beginning.

And, by the way, to all you "believers" that keep pushing the "phone access", you do understand that it relies on the same data hub that is "not working as well as [we'd] hoped".

Just quit defending the indefensible. Admit that the model was rushed, poorly thought out and implemented with the deft that only the federal government could muster.

Please, whining? Grow a pair jaxspeepee. <-Period

Lots of people are unwise in their twenties. Many grow out of it as they gain wisdom. Some never do, like Obama and yourself.

You're really OK with complete government control over everything, and being lied to about it over and over? What is there to like or defend about that?

I prefer freedom.

There is nothing smart or wise about the left. Nothing at all. Leftist ideology is insane. It doesn't work, not anywhere, ever. It starves and kills people. It subjugates them.

It is one huge lie, endorsed by organized, self-described, communists.

Thomas Sowell used to be a Marxist, and has no business experience whatsoever. Quote away, he is only respected on the extreme far-right with the other loonies such as Tea Bagger fringies. At 83 he longs for the America pre-Roosevelt as you do.

No lives have been lost yet, unlike the Iraq War and other Bush debacles. The law will be modified and improved. It has been in place 35 days. There are already amendments being proposed. This is a field day for Chicken Littles, to be sure.

"Some of the most sweeping and spectacular rhetoric of the Left occurred in 18th-century France, where the very concept of the Left originated in the fact that people with certain views sat on the left side of the National Assembly.

The French Revolution was their chance to show what they could do when they got the power they sought. In contrast to what they promised — “liberty, equality, fraternity” — what they actually produced were food shortages, mob violence, and dictatorial powers that included arbitrary executions, extending even to their own leaders, such as Robespierre, who died under the guillotine."

"Sixty-Eight percent of privately-insured Americans may not be able to keep their current health coverage once Obamacare is fully implemented, despite the president’s repeated promises that anyone who wanted to keep their plan would be able to do so, according to a Duke University health expert.

An analysis by healthcare economist Christopher Conover at the Center for Health Policy & Inequalities Research at Duke University found that an estimated 129 million people could lose their previous health coverage..." (Newsmax)

Correction: O' lied about this one issue alone 96 times.

Could've happened to any other serial liar.

My eyes are fine jaxilliterate. If you'll notice, that was direct quote from my Canadian friend, directed to that doorknob known as hvvillain the supercommie. Ok, duncedom?

The NYT says Obama "misspoke". Yeah about 20 times.

He mistruthed. He dissed-honesty He defrauded. It was an ongoing series of repeated, in your face lies, which will go down in history's book of infamy. Had he told those same lies in a court of law, he would now be in jail for perjury.

He should now be forever referred to as "Liar McLiarson".

RS:"Why a 100% solution for a 10% problem?" Republicans have proposed a 1000 % solution for a .0000001% problem, voter fraud, but RS is all over that one. Worth repeating: You cannot be a Republican without being a hypocrite.

Posted 267 days ago.

Funny to see Fact Free back. Whenever someone posts something he disagrees with he asks them not to post. I understand Whineville perfectly.

And RS gets his eye injured by surgery and says why fix a system that's not broken. You can't make this stuff up.

Free? That will be a term of the past. Free (?) Look at it. Feel it. Say goodbye to it. Write a letter to it. Pen a memoir about it.
