Letters To Ed :-)

"We've been duped by the Republicans. Kentucky Sen. and minority leader Mitch McConnell in a news conference one day after the election, stated that the single and sole goal of the GOP over the next two years is: to make Barack Obama a single term president. What an arrogant and obnoxious goal and statement. There agenda before the election was to get votes by promising that there first goals were jobs, the economy and health care reform. It seems their goal is to grab power, not to do things for the people that are in need of jobs and or unemployment pay, health care for those that don't have it, and the people losing their homes. This is the same party that wanted the auto plants and their suppliers to go out of business. We are just coming back from what they did to this country, and now we have them back to do the same things to our country again. What a mess the next two years is going to bring to this country. Talk about partisanship." Carl D. Leow Rogers Cit

Five principles that Michigan set as condition to the Medicaid expansion.

As the federal funding decreases in 2014 the savings have to be demonstrable or Michigan will opt out.

We can be proud that we [Michigan] are not just expanding an already broken system but implementing structural changes to Medicaid that could fundamentally change it.

Thanks Gov.

Several studies will be conducted over the next several years to determine how well Medicaid expansion is controlling costs and improving quality. For example, a new Health Care Cost and Quality Advisory Committee will be created to promote quality and transparency of information.

n a September 25 report in the New England Journal of Medicine, Ayanian said Snyder's innovative approach — that required working with both political parties to garner enough votes for passage — featured five core principles:

The state must achieve sufficient savings to offset its contributions for Medicaid expansion when federal funding drops from 100 percent to 95 percent in 2014, and then phasing down to 90 percent by 2021.

Michigan will develop financial incentives, including co-payments, for the new Medicaid enrollees to control their use of health care and to maintain healthy behaviors.

New Medicaid beneficiaries will be enrolled directly into the state's Medicaid HMOs rather than fee-for-service Medicaid.

New enrollees will be guaranteed access to primary care and preventive services. They also will be offered to sign advance directives for end-of-life care.

Get it right hville.

The felony occurs when Lois Lerner shares confidential tax information with the Federal Elections Commission for the purpose of their scrutinizing a group or a citizen.

How can you call something a "witch hunt" if you don't even know what the issue is?

Freeman - No one said it was a crime, just that they may not qualify for tax-exempt status under the IRS rule in question. The tea party can say whatever they want, and do. Their paranoid conspiracy fantasies are on display all over the place, daily, including here.

They [democrats] have been wrong on their fiscal policy.

They have been wrong on their foreign policy.

They have been wrong on their health care policy.

The country is a mess and all they can say is that "the stock market is up, record levels...".

Hmm, go figure. Uncle Sam has created a new bubble with monetary policy and now they can't bring themselves turn off the spigot.

$85 BILLION a month. Remember that number.

And a Fabian Society if you can't.

You've convinced me jaxspp, why hold the government accountable for anything.

It's pointless to expect that our elected officials and the civil servants obey the laws that they enact and are charged with enforcing.

Disconnected people...

"Mr. Franklin, what kind of government have you given us"?

" A republic, if you can keep it".

The sky is fine, nothingburger with cheese. It's our American way of life that is falling. Freedom is falling. Of course, you're too stupid to see it. Blind in both eyes and a corncob in each ear.

"....NAACP President and CEO Bruce S. Gordon, told reporters, "Tax-exempt organizations should feel free to critique and challenge governmental policies under the First Amendment without fear of IRS intervention." He said the investigation was a cloud that hung over the group's activities, diverting resources from its principal mission of fighting racial discrimination. Bond added, "It has never been a crime or violation for American citizens to criticize government policies and it is not a crime or a violation to do so now."...."

Many on the right, and nearly everyone the left are simply unwilling to see what is happening via Marxist and Fabian Society type goals.

Who was the "father of Fabian Society? George Bernard Shaw. Could someone wake up, just a little...please?

"How is it possible that the United States government can build, implement and manage the most intricate surveillance apparatus in the world, using a complex array of computers to amass data on people not just in the U.S., but all across the world, yet fail miserably on a less complex health care portal, exchange or web site? Put aside everything you’ve been told by the government and the media, both proponents and opponents of the ACA, and think for yourself. Does this make sense? If you are being truly intellectually honest, you must conclude that it does not."

This article concludes that the failed website portals are by design, while the underlying law releases it's true villainy. It makes perfect Marxist sense. Whether you like candafreepress you have to conclude that what is said here, the questions asked, and the conclusions reached are very difficult to disagree with.
