Letters To Ed :-)

"We've been duped by the Republicans. Kentucky Sen. and minority leader Mitch McConnell in a news conference one day after the election, stated that the single and sole goal of the GOP over the next two years is: to make Barack Obama a single term president. What an arrogant and obnoxious goal and statement. There agenda before the election was to get votes by promising that there first goals were jobs, the economy and health care reform. It seems their goal is to grab power, not to do things for the people that are in need of jobs and or unemployment pay, health care for those that don't have it, and the people losing their homes. This is the same party that wanted the auto plants and their suppliers to go out of business. We are just coming back from what they did to this country, and now we have them back to do the same things to our country again. What a mess the next two years is going to bring to this country. Talk about partisanship." Carl D. Leow Rogers Cit

MY dictionary, when you look up the word Politician', the first description is 'LIAR'. Across the board, true. Some people believe any lies that come out of the mouths of politicians. I call them gullible.

"...egardless, Bush's shameless lies about invading Iraq pertained to nuclear weapons, not chemical..."

Where in the H-E-L-L have you been????

WMD refers to weapons of mass destruction. Kind of a catch all term.

Where did Syria get those weapons? Same type that Saddam used on the Kurds in the north of Iraq. Remember? The Kurdish villagers? Dead in the streets? The people that Bush Sr. promised to protect? The people that Clinton threw under the bus?

No, Iraq had no WMD. That was a lie..... How soon we forget.

O' said, and I paraphrase, but think it's a direct quote: "Some on one side of the aisle are invested in failure." He was speaking about O'commiecare.

So it's a metaphysical thang huh? Those that wish it to fail have wishes that are causative? Wooooo those are some strong wishes huh?

Hey! Some of you wish for this guy to resign! Wish it, wish it, wish it!

How much have they "invested"? Was it money or wishes? If you wish in one hand and print 85 billion per month into the other, which will fill up fastest?

Doood. You stink. Not sure how rotten things are in Denmark, but from DC, you stink all the way to Michigan, high heaven, and Hawaii too...and Syria...and Egypt...and Israel...and Russia...and China...and Mehicole...and LIBYA! Your lying stench circles the globe, uh..."sir".

But, but, but...BUSH! Don't look at Obama evah! Stare at Bush for the rest of your life.

Your guy's a losing liar and you know it...and are fine with it.

Your entire side rivals raw sewage, and you swim in it daily.

Did Obama get umpteen UN resolutions before shoving O'commicare down our throats? Didn't Hillary Clinton among other democrats vote to approve the War in Iraq?

Wasn't regime change in Iraq, Bill Clinton's policy? Yes.

How many Republican votes did O'commiecare get? Zero. Currently 91% of the public wants it changed or repealed.

But, but, but Bush.

Add chemical weapons to the list of things RS knows nothing about.

There is no credible source that chemical weapons were moved to Syria from Iraq.

Regardless, Bush's shameless lies about invading Iraq pertained to nuclear weapons, not chemical. Remember aluminum tubes? Yellow-cake uranium? The smoking gun would be a mushroom cloud?

In State of the Union, Bush says "the 16 words": "The British government has learned that Saddam Hussein recently sought significant quantities of uranium from Africa." Bush adds Saddam has "tried to purchase high-strength aluminum tubes suitable for nuclear weapons production" and has "mobile biological weapons labs."

Temember the chemical weapons data came from a source called "Curveball".

It hasn't been 50 days. It's been three years. Obama lies every time he opens his mouth. Besides, to heck with the website. The big problem is the law itself. It was a foolish idea.

Virtually the entire world's intelligence agencies agreed with Bush, and some of Saddam's generals affirm he moved his chemical weapons into Syria.

What is the UN trying to do now. Secure chemical weapons in Syria. What a coincidence.

Obama knowingly lies, over, and over, and over. His admin. fakes employment rates and uses gov. agencies to target his political opposition, among many other things. He's a lying, cheating thug.

His poll #'s now 37% (Reuters)

Should be 0.0%

So far, unlike the hideous Bush lies that resulted in a trillion dollar war with 3000 Americans slaughtered, no on has died yet from the ACA. Anyone who has seen a large scale software conversion knows that what is happening with the website is not that unusual. So give it more than 50 days and lets see what happens.

I'm glad the Tea Party didn't go to Gettysburg with their Confederate flags. The rooting for Pickett's charge to be a success would be too much for true Americans.

Also the fossil record and methods used to date certain layers assume uniformatarianism. Does that makes sense?

No it doesn't. It was catastrophism that formed the continenets etc.

To assume uniformatarianism in geology is simply ridiculous.

"Tel Aviv University anthropologists say they have disproven the theory that "Lucy" - the world-famous 3.2-million-year-old Australopithecus afarensis skeleton found in Ethiopia 33 years ago - is the last ancestor common to humans and another branch of the great apes family known as the "Robust hominids."

"The specimen was only 1.1 meters tall, estimated to weigh 29 kilograms and look somewhat like a common chimpanzee."

Ever seen chimpanzees walking upright? So have I. It was a d*mn monkey, much like yourself.

Dumbass.

Pretty sure Ryan never said that amos. I think you're talking about Marco Rubio who said, " I’m not a scientist, man. I can tell you what recorded history says, I can tell you what the Bible says, but I think that’s a dispute amongst theologians and I think it has nothing to do with the gross domestic product or economic growth of the United States..."

Back on point. Please name a federal program that is not in colossal debt.

freem..."Lucy" is the 3.2 million year old Australopithecus Afarensis who is/was in the National Museum of History in Houston Texas. Don't you dare ever blaspheme Her. Oh wait, Rep Paul Braun (R) says earth is only 9,000 years old. But then all you seem to care about is money anyway.

So, the federal government has more money flowing into it's coffers than in any time in recorded history and the democrats want more revenues as a part of budget talks.

They want to eliminate the sequester limits on spending growth, (not cuts, but growth), in the budget numbers.

I mean, only in Washington D.C. can a reduction IN THE GROWTH OF SPENDING by a percentage point or two be called a "Draconian Slashing of the Budget".

Get real. It's our money, not yours. Stop wasting it then we'll talk about revenues.

"..There's already parts of the ACA people are thrilled with..."

Who is going to pay for it? The model is broken.

Posted 339 days ago.

Freeman

So, let's get back to the problems.

SS and Medicare both passed after long debate and with STRONG bipartisan votes in both the house and senate.

ACA was written as it was being debated with little or no minority input.

ACA was attached to some wholly unrelated house bill and voted through without even 1 minority vote.

Promises were made to the American people, to garner their support, that were ultimately not kept.

The "law of the land" carves out huge sections of the American people who benefit unequally.

Portions of the "mandates" have been delayed for political purposes. The employer mandate, (reference the DOJ brief), would have caused massive "cancellations" of employer based plans during an election year.

Should I go on? I can, all E-F-F-I-N day.

You just keep listening to "Lucy" Pelosi, see how far you get.

Posted 339 days ago.

Freeman

Jaxspp, my friend, there are always good things in theses big government plans. Problem is that someone has to pay for them.

Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid ALL cost far more than the original estimates. That is not to say they are not worth while but they are as close as we can get to a model.

The ACA is another liberal "ponzie scheme" that has already started to collapse.

Now we are starting to hear that most unions will NOT have to pay the "Cadillac tax" on their plans. Another carve out.

This just keeps getting better.

Did I mention that CBO estimates 30 million Americans will STILL be uncovered?
