Letters To Ed :-)

"We've been duped by the Republicans. Kentucky Sen. and minority leader Mitch McConnell in a news conference one day after the election, stated that the single and sole goal of the GOP over the next two years is: to make Barack Obama a single term president. What an arrogant and obnoxious goal and statement. There agenda before the election was to get votes by promising that there first goals were jobs, the economy and health care reform. It seems their goal is to grab power, not to do things for the people that are in need of jobs and or unemployment pay, health care for those that don't have it, and the people losing their homes. This is the same party that wanted the auto plants and their suppliers to go out of business. We are just coming back from what they did to this country, and now we have them back to do the same things to our country again. What a mess the next two years is going to bring to this country. Talk about partisanship." Carl D. Leow Rogers Cit

Add "sausage-making" to the list of things Jax knows nothing about.

JaxPP, sees infrastructure...infrastructure is his favorite...doesn't know where it comes from. Sometimes he calls it pork, unless it's Democrat pork.

Who's the hypocrite? Jaxohypocrite is the hypocrite.

McConnell's just one of several traitors to his own party and his own consituents. A Harry Reid hemorrhoid.

So glad Republicans were able to slip $3 billion in pork spending for McConnell into the CR. You can't be a Republican without being a hypocrite.

We saw the damage to the economy with just 17 days of reduced government spending. I tried to explain to RS and Freeman what would happen to the economy if the $2 trillion in spending they wanted to pull out was pulled out. Maybe this Real World example will give them a clue how an economy based upon spending works.

Ahoy! 'Tis a wall o' gimpy glyphics! Bigoted against a white man o' the biz? Uncipherable scratch I say!

Break it up, break it down, and hoist it to the crows nest! Cut the ropes and let 'er fly!

Ship's surgeon(!)... cut off it's leg with yonder saw! It'll be wearin' a wooden stump by sunset!

You, unhappy greenleg! Bite this bisquit and scream to the winds!

The bilge is full men, she's goin' under! Been a pleasure a servin' with ya'! The last you'll see is the top o' me cap!

Abandon ship!

Arrrgh, get ye back on deck ye swarthy swab! Ye'll be lucky if ye rate so much as hard tack this night! Quartermaster, I foreswear by yon oak rendered mast, send this yonker's evening grog to another! And if he slacken agin', nothin' but stripes and irons be his lot!

Now all hands! Tack about! Barometer's droppin', and an ill wind blows towards those grey shoals! We'll no' be visitin' Davy Jones this night! Not so long as I command this vessel !

Thr Tea Party led shutdown, it is estimated, cost Americans 24 Billion dollars. That equals 65,000 new teachers. Break it down, it comes to 13,000 per state. That would amount to 158 new teachers in Alpena County. I would say that is wasteful spending the Fine Tea Party is so worried about.

If thou "thinkest" that the rights of man wert brought forth and bestowed by government unto man, be not dismayed when government dispossesses them from thou.

Tis a churlish oaf, and an offal's ox, which allows themselves to be yoked in a box.

Tis neither a man, a meal worm, nor even a beagle that chooseth not to fly forth like the spirited Eagle.

Norminion, thou cursed knave. Thine foul stench and cadaverous breath hast oft condemned thee to thy love of slavery. Thou hast forged thine own fetters in the fires of foolishness, thine own bars in the bastions of H*ll. Away with you, to thine own, self-inflicted prison.

Free humans of soul, will not accompany thee. They commend thee to thine own depths of darkness and depredation.

Consort thou then with demons, devils, and dragons. May thy thirst for evil ever be quenched...and may the fleas of a thousand camels, the termites of a million logs, and the parasites of a billion hogs, rejoice, that they be ever more noble than thou.

Oh, and Ted Cruz, the architect of the shutdown, owes America (US) 24 billion dollars, the cost of said shutdown. Perhaps rshrill could pay some of it, he is Cruz' man.

Rshrill, the tracking, the observing and the hacking are a direct result of the institution of Homeland 'Security' and the Patriot Act, which you have implicitly accepted along with your hatred of Muslims due to the reaction by 'our' government (Bush at the time)to the attack on the World Trade Center in 2001. So do not complain, your guy caused it.

A parable from the 'Christian right: Once upon a time, a bunch of deeply religious 'christian' men revolted against the King of England and started a new nation based on the bible. Being deeply religious fundamentalist 'christians' they intended for their new society to reflect Christian values and the idea that rights come from'god'.But then a bunch of evil liberals with a secular agenda decided to deny that our country is a Christian nation. Insisting that rights come from the government/the social contract/rational thinking, these secularists set out to dismantle our Christian nation and replace it with an unholy secularist democracy with athiests running amok and women getting abortions and gays getting married and civilization collapse. The founders did not want a Christian theocracy, sorry. Thanx to Amanda Marcotte for the revised version of American intent.

I do not want their Common Core, Or Brownshirts beating on my door, If I should let my children pray To God as they begin their day.

I do not want my emails tracked, My texts observed, my cell phone hacked. I do not want them in my home, To steal the hairs out of my comb, that they can use for DNA To take all privacy away. I do not want their drones and cams, Oh where Oh where is Uncle Sam?

I want my country back, you see! I want it back! For you! And me!

I will not buy ObamaCare, I will not buy it anywhere. I will not get a subsidy, not one for you or one for me. I will not give my info there, I will not give it anywhere. I’ll pay their fine, I’ll pay their tax, I’ll pay it to prevent their hacks.

I will not let them have my codes, Account details or scans of nodes. They may not know my blood glucose, Or test results, or medicine dose.... I will not go upon their site, And tell them if I’m black or white. I will not tell affiliations, Or the sex with whom I have relations.

I will not say if I have guns, I’ll just continue making puns. I do not like their nosy queries Or their insipid socialist theories. I want my country back, you see! I want it back! For you! And me! I want to work and earn my way, And my own bills I want to pay!

I do not want their EBT-- Entitlements won’t set me free! I do not want their Nanny State, Abortion pills or words of hate.

There are two houses in town with both a confederate and a Nazi flag. Shrill's has the statue of John Birch out front and the lynching cross out back.

Hypocrites, all about cutting poor people's money, but you gladly waste 24 billion on nothing at all.
